I spent the best part of a year maintaining my own eyebrows to thicken them up. All of that time and effort was taken away along with my eyebrows after 5 minutes at the Knox store. Not only were my eyebrows completely thinned out but they took on a whole new shape.. I say shape very lightly as there isn’t enough hair left to consider my eyebrows to be shaped. One spot on my left eyebrow was given so much attention that she may as well have just grabbed a razor blade and given me a slit. I’m still confused as to how me confirming that I just wanted a tidy up resulted in me with pencil thin eyebrows with a slit to make a 15 year old gang member jealous but what I am not confused about is the fact I will never return here. If the staff wish to over service areas they should stick with bikini lines.

I get my brows done every month at a a beauty and brow store and have never had a poor experience. My skin has never reacted poorly either. This was my first time going to the knox store and my skin is throbbing! During the session I found it so more painful and was wondering why, within 10 mins it started getting extremely red and bled. For something that I do regularly every month with no reaction to suddenly behave this way, this is too much. The experience with the staff were extremely pleasant, but if this is the result poorly skilled staff or poor hygiene measures which has caused this, something needs to change now. It is unfortunate that this has had to occur right before Christmas.

This is not the first time I have been rejected by the curly hair girl downstairs on the ground floor at the beauty and brow. Although today her colleague and her directed me upstairs saying they have an upcoming appt while theh continued to chat. They directed me twice in the day not realising I was the same person earlier in the day . Owner please keep people who are willing to work. Happened on the 23rd Dec at 11.30 and 3.00pm

Horrible! If you want chunks out of your eyebrows taken out and them to say that you had a ‘gap’ in your eyebrow, please go here and ask for Naz/Nuz. Not only did she take out a chunk of my absolutely normal eyebrows, she also didn’t cleanup my eyebrows on my other eye. Super unhappy. This location has literally gone from 100 to 0 when their best employees went on Mat leave. Super disappointed. Will not return!!!

Terrible service. My mum went in for eyebrow threading, came out with a chunk missing from her left eyebrow. I noticed as she didn't at first, went back to complain and the lady couldn't seem to care less, and, in fact, insisted that she didn't even do that area and it was 'already like that'. Mind you, it was very hard to explain because the lady spoke very poor English. As per the other bad reviews, avoid this place if you care about getting good service.

Unbelievably horrible experience! Just asked for a simple eyebrow wax - wax was dropped in my hair that i had to point out, the lady doing it then seemed annoyed at me for HER error, wax was then dripped on my top and left on face. To top off this hereunder experience she was so rough while waxing she drew blood. Not a single apology either! Will not be going back.

Extremely bad threading. I asked for my brows to be cleaned up. Walked out with random bits of brow missing, bits of brow in place that should of been removed and the shape was completely destroyed.

I normally get my brows done at the upstairs parlour at Knox and they are always perfect exactly how I want them. The young lady that did them last time was amazing and super helpful recommending a henna tint as I said my brows are quite sparse. However, I got them done today at the downstairs store under Kmart. Horrible experience, the lady was super rough with me and my eyebrows are covered in cuts. Not to mention the dry wipe with a tissue after was even worse. She also did not show me the shape before tinting them either, post tint the tint is very uneven and the shape is also not great. Had to go home and basically pluck them myself as she hadn’t even left the front of my brows straight? When she was done she said nothing and just walks away to get me to pay. $33 I understand the price increase but this was definitely not worth it.

Went in with two eyebrows and asked for wax and tint. Noticed 30 mins later tint had run off one half of eyebrow as no hair there. Went back to complain they said I had no hair there before! Eventually got my money 🔙 but now have only 1/2 eyebrow . Perhaps I could be compensated so I can have brows repaired would need tattooing. Was not going to put this post up but note others have had same issues . Have sent email 2 weeks ago still waiting for reply Disgraceful.

If I could give 0 star then I really would. I’ve been there 2-3 times, and everytime i go, my eyebrows keep getting thinner and thinner. At first it was fine as I liked the result. But now they got way too thin that it looks like two caterpillars. Same experience happened with my sister last month but we thought it was just a misunderstanding. It was painful AND disappointing experience.

Went to get my eyebrows threaded. Everytime I've been the lady I have gotten does not know how to thread. I leave everytime with blood and cuts around my eyebrows. Usually it's only a small cut but I went on the 6/12/23 and I have woken up the next morning with numerous cuts all along my eyebrow. They thread so so so slow that it legitametely cuts your skin. No wonder it hurts more than it should. You should really train your staff better. Everyone avoid this place. I definitely won't be going back after this experience.

Absolutely appalling service received just now. Went in for a wax and tint. Tint was applied then removed. Then she went and started to apply the wax without ever asking what shape I wanted. I stopped her and said I wanted a slightly arched shape. She said “we do tidy up only” and had by that point applied the wax. I was stunned and almost in tears as she proceeded to do both brows. She finished and said “you want gel?” Not once did she offer me a mirror to see if I was happy. I paid and walked out in tears - my brows thin and straight and months of careful work growing them for my shape gone. I’m devastated. How can someone who works at a BROW salon not ask her client what type of brow service she would like?

Wouldn’t recommend. Went with my sister was the most painful threading I’ve had done and my eyebrows are so thin. That was nothing compared to my poor sister, her whole upper lip with threaded so hard the skin had come off and she’s got a bad rash now.

i normally go here to get my eyebrows threaded and it’s normally amazing this time however was absolutely terrible. my eyebrows are extremley uneven and she’s taken the shape completely out of one. i have a chunk of hair missing in a random spot too will never be going back.

I was satisfied with the work done on my eyebrows, however I spent more money than expected. The prices listed in the window were perhaps only a starting price (?) - it wasn't entirely clear. The woman was very thorough so I didn't argue with the cost, but this may be a warning to customers on a strict budget.

My mum went for facial threading and they pressured her into trying their 'new wax' product and was very pushy. She relented and then ended up with BURNS on both of her cheekbones. We have written to the parlour with images attached and no response. They do not care about customer safety and frankly are operating at very subpar standards. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I went to get my eyebrows and upper lip waxed yesterday--24th February 2023--afternoon. The first thing the woman said to me was: "your eyebrows are bushy"--very rude, plus a lie. She then proceded to say that it was going to cost me an additional 8 dollars. I was taken aback by this, but I was in a rush and didn't want to go to the other side of the mall to the other brow parlour, so I stayed. She took less than 2 minutes and did a poor job, making my eyebrows look unbalanced. Pretty disgusting! Also, I don't think they follow health regulations as they don't disinfect the area first.

My mum went to the upstairs parlour (which she has been to many times before with no issue) and asked for facial threading specifically as she has sensitive skin (which she told the worker). The worker decided to use waxing anyway saying it’s a new type of wax that suits sensitive skin even though my mum again said she just wanted threading. After going back and forth, the worker decided to do waxing anyway. My mum now has permanent skin damage on her face. I have contacted them multiple times with no response. This generic response they give on google reviews is a complete waste of time as they do not reply
