We've been going for litle over a year. The gym is very welcoming and not full of people with egos that you find in other gyms. they also have a pool, spa and sauna. The equipment may not be new like in those 24 hour gyms, but it's not old and it all works well. They don't have some machines you find in huge gyms, but for the size of the place, you can still make it work.

I went to the Gym here with my Mum for 2 days from Sunday 2nd April 2023 to Monday 3rd April 2023. We found the Gyn very exhausting.

Since we live up the road this isn't a place we would stay overnight in. So I can't comment on the rooms. Facilities and spa here are lovely though. For the most part the staff are very warm, efficient and professional. I personally felt there can be somewhat of a snobbish vibe here at times however the resort is frequented by local members who use the gym and pool facilities as well as the lovely golf course, which gives it a nice overall balance. All food I have had here has been excellent and at about the right value. It is not cheap however if I go out to eat I want to eat something a little special that I wouldn't make at home and therefore I'm willing to pay for it. The only small thing I would say is that the gym/pool changing and shower area needs a good clean in the showers, especially under the partitions where grime appears to collect. However as far as pools go this one is pretty clean. I swim a lot in many pools and this one is high on the list for being the cleanest. Highly recommended.

Love this place for either gym/spa or a seat by the warm fire for lunch or just a coffee. Peaceful and so relaxing and prices are not over the top for a Hotel at all👍👌
