The gatehouse cottage was an incredibly cute and cosy getaway for two. Shower, kitchen and spa were all in great condition and the bed was quite comfortable. The cottage is just big enough for two to comfortably stay in. We were supplied with a little continental breakfast hamper and enough coffee for a couple of days, but did need to find our own supplies after that. It was only a very short 10 min walk into Sassafras via a shortcut down Grandview Grove, although be aware that the walk home via this route requires a climb up a significant hill. All things considered, this is a lovely stay and perfect for honeymooners or the like looking for a getaway in the hills.
