Our stay at Mount William Station was truly exceptional. The accommodation was outstanding, and the range of facilities, including a miniature small golf course, added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. The cuisine was exquisite, and the warmth and friendliness of the entire staff elevated our experience to the highest level. Without a doubt, we will be returning in the future.

We had an amazing stay at Mount William. It is a really special property. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We instantly felt welcome loved walking around the gorgeous grounds. The food was outstanding- compliments to both the chef and staff. Mount William is a really special and unique place.

We had an absolutely outstanding weekend at Mount William station. The food was terrific, the surrounds were beautiful, and the hosting was exceptional. There is enough space there to feel secluded but the homestead provided a warm luxury stay. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding or if lucky enough to be able to book it for any other getaway with friends or family. It’s a privilege to be accepted into Will’s family home for any length of time and being able to immerse into the history of the venue by the open fire in the Rhino room, if only those walls could talk.

We had a wonderful stay at Mount William Station. It’s such a beautiful place. The staff were kind, helpful and happy to deliver all our requests. We enjoyed all the large entertaining areas which were set up with drinks and canapés including the Stables which provided a great outdoor space with a fire. The food was delicious. I’d highly recommend the homestead to a group who were looking to enjoy both the homestead and surrounds as well as the greater Grampians area.

Mount William Station - what a lovely stay this was (even in the Aussie winter time). We were the only guests but welcomed very friendly and felt really welcome. Enjoying the view, the space, the lovely dinner. All local ingredients, packed together in a stunning food package; flavors well served and combined. Same for the breakfast. I can truly recommend this place for a relaxing, luxurous stay when you are in Melbourne (we're from Europe) or visiting the Grampians/ Great Ocean Road. The staff did really their best to make us feel great and they succeeded very well in that. Definitely will come back next time when we are in Australia!

We had the most amazing stay at Mount William Station. The grounds were incredibly beautiful, the house was so homely and the staff were super friendly and helpful. There was so much to do on the property - sauna, swim, tennis, golf, explore all the other buildings (the Stables were so beautiful). Highly recommend for a peaceful but super memorable trip! Mount William Station is the perfect place to unwind surrounded by farmland with the Grampians as a dramatic backdrop. The scenery is beautiful, the staff provided impeccable service and the food was outstanding. I stayed in the shearers quarters which was comfortable and a great experience. Will be back to visit!

Our stay at My William exceeded all expectations. Beautiful property, and outstanding staff who made us feel very much at home. Luxurious rooms with great character. Serene atmosphere. Close to the Grampians, particularly the wonderful cross country Mountain Biking in Victoria Valley. Meals that were equal to the best restaurants in Melbourne. Will be returning. One of best ever holidays.

My husband and I just spent 2 days at Mount William Estate and can’t rave enough about it. The service was second to none and Nadia and Kelly couldn’t do enough for us. Our accommodation was amazing and I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. As for the food, all I can say is wow! Kevin is an incredibly talented chef who seems to find the right balance between flavour and texture. We can’t wait to go back and explore the beautiful area a bit further.

The meals were exceptional and all the staff were friendly and warm. We were lucky with a weather so we used the pool and a sauna. The stay at Mount Williams station was exactly what we needed for our special weekend. We met great people and had interesting conversations. Thanks to William and all staff working there!🥰

Our stay at Mount William Station was so so so lovely. All of the staff were very accommodating and made us feel at home straight away. It felt very luxurious, while also maintaining the Homestead charm. We weren't able to use the pool due to the cold weather, but the sauna was a nice touch. Also, the dinner and breakfast by the in house chef was incredible. Having him come out and explain each course was such a special touch. Overall, a comfortable, luxurious yet homey and special stay. Would absolutely recommend getting the dinner and breakfast package, the food was delicious!

We just spent a fantastic weekend at Mount William Station. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable and the food was great. The Chef did a great job. It was so nice to understand where the food comes from and how it was prepared. The staff were so friendly and the grounds were beautifully kept. We really enjoyed the old farmhouse and the relaxing feeling it gave off as well as the comfortable lounge to take our coffee and drinks in. We would love to come back with friends.

Where to start with this brilliant property? We booked a stay for a romantic weekend away. The property is beautifully maintained, the rooms pristine and recently renovated, but also with old world features. Comfortable beds, great en-suite. Warm welcome from Host, great cocktails/drinks before dinner, then magnificent tailored three course gourmet meal from local produce. Spectacular! Breakfast is chosen from 4-5 options, cooked at request, with juice and croissants too, and great coffee. Great tennis court and pool, and lovely little pitch-n-putt style golf hole with multiple tees to a single green. Magnificent property and out-buildings in the shadow of the Grampians. The accommodations are private, but one large dining room - we were there at the same time as a lovely couple who were very friendly and we had a lovely evening. It was so nice, we brought our family back 6 weeks later for a birthday weekend - this time tried a different room for us as a couple, but also a twin room for Grandpa and eldest grandson, and the larger suite for Uncle and two middle children (total 7). All kids had amazing time with outdoor activities, but also good accommodation/sleeping options. Middle child has life-threatening allergies and the chef went out of his way to accommodate - individual 3 course meals for 7 and 11 yo, 16yo had adult meals. It was wife’s birthday, so chef made an entire birthday cake from scratch for our family dessert (we ate in separate dining room from other guests) and we were given the rest of the cake as left-overs (it didn’t survive the evening!). Amazing breakfast again. Both times we only stayed one night, as a mini weekend get away, but is a great base for Grampians and could easily have stayed 2-3 nights…and probably will next time. Brilliant and worth every penny!

Mount William Homestead was the perfect location for our girls weekend 💕 Being able to book the place exclusively, meant a lot of privacy and the ability to relax, yet still have the help of staff with a text message if needed a freshly brewed coffee or wanted the sauna turned on. Nadia, Anna and Lucas were so helpful and lovely. We were self-catered, except for a 3 course dinner on one of the nights - amazing!!! 🙌 Well worth it!! The pool, sauna and tennis courts were brilliant and our favourite place to hang with its own bar, it made it an easy place to settle in. There were so many activities, grounds to walk and explore, that we didn't even get to climb Mount Sturgeon, we just wanted to make the most of the fab venue. The rooms were all nicely done with beautiful showering facilities. The Rhino room was also a fave, and with cool nights in early Nov, we had a fire going. We definitely felt rejuvenated and Mount William certainly ticked all the boxes and was a weekend well remembered.

We were looking for a quiet escape near the Grampians and Mount William Station was all that we wanted a more! From the beautiful estate and facilities to the littlest details - we always felt so taken care of by the staff. The surrounding greenery and animals of the farm as well as the incredible history of the property really make it a unique stay, and we really had the loveliest time
