The best game shop! Has anything you could ever want! (Board/card game wise)

Absolutely stoked with the amount of good Lego here. Currently putting aside savings so I can splurge here in the near future. A lot of rare Lego sets, super collectable

I could stay here for hours. Went just to browse, bought a puzzle and 2 games. Service was great, person at the counter was pleasant and not overbearing. Had a nice chat with them! Will visit again.

I am torn about this games shop, while it has a great selection of games it is also unwelcoming and somewhat unfriendly. I have been a board gamer for decades and the disdain received from talking to the people behind the desk, on multiple occasions, is always disappointing. Don't come here looking for community.

On both occasions I have shopped here, I have been given nothing less than absolutely perfect customer care. Good work :)

Terrible customer service. Paid for delivery, parcel not delivered, staff unhelpful. Games available cheaper elsewhere online, my recommendation would be to look elsewhere. Note that the owners response contains a number of inaccuracies: 1. "delivery was not able to be made because I was not at home" - I was at home and the courier made no attempt to deliver 2. Northcote staff's attitude throughout was "once it's out the door, it's nothing to do with us" 3. no aggression whatsoever was shown to staff on the phone and no verbal abuse was made. This comment by the owner is arguably actionable.

My partner and I went to Mind Games yesterday (27/12) looking for a new board game to play. Initially we were a bit overwhelmed with the choices as there are just so many. When we asked the team member working there for some ideas we were blown away with his help. He gave so many different options and talked through the game styles. We ended up purchasing Everdell and while we could have bought it slightly cheaper online we will always be returning here in future due to the customer service.

Great store and really helpful staff who helped me find the perfect game for a gift in my budget / to fit the vibe of the person. We played it that night and had a blast. Thanks team!
