Had lunch at the bistro. We ordered a schnitzel, parma and the prawn dish. Food was good.

Had a lovely casual lunch with my partner and Oma. As non members ourselves, driver’s license were expected at check in. So make sure you have yours on you. The lunch menu had a great range from Seniors, Kids, Burgers, Pasta and Steak options. This also includes Chef Special and Meal of the Day specials. And then there are the Specific day specials. We went on a Saturday, and roast of the day was turkey. Interior: Clean and spacious. Really nicely spaced tables and chairs to allow for privacy, or flexibility to push tables and chairs together to cater for bigger groups. Outdoor Deck: a lovely spacious outdoor deck with seating and greenery for those wanting to enjoy a drink or two with food while basking in the sunshine. Or for those that don’t mind a bit of a breeze on the chillier days. Lunch, Steak: My partner said the meat was cooked well, however, a standard cut of steak. Still acceptable for the club. Pepper sauce. The sides of salad was a great choice, and also comes with chips. The fat chips were crunchy and perfectly baked. Although, with the salad and chips was a bit much for him. Oma and I didn’t steal any chips, so he didn’t finish it all. But I am sure if he had room in his belly he would have finished them off. Lunch, Fettuccine Carbonara: Oma and I had ordered this. There was a Senior Special, kids size. And then the standard, which I didn’t quite finish. Very generous with the servings and bacon. I added extra salt and pepper on mine to give it more flavour since the cream was very rich. Tea, water and Beer: served quickly and professionally. The English breakfast, with side of milk was perfect. Water was self served and plentiful. I couldn’t remember what beer my partner offered. Some ale I am sure. He seemed to enjoy it. Service: professional and quick. Even though the eftpos was down the day we were having lunch. We were offered a tab and then to fix the bill at the end. We only had to wait for 5-10 minutes but it was not an inconvenience because the staff was friendly and explained to us the whole time what was happening. Will return again with Oma since it’s close to her house and she does like the atmosphere.

Trash food/service. The company I work for hired a room for the day for a function, there was 15 people we all ordered food and drinks, a fair amount of money was spent. Seafood smelt off, burger has finger print marks from the oil and meat on the top of the bun. When I asked the waiter for the nutritional info on the food I was laughed at and then told “No”. (By law a restaurant must provide that for dietary reasons) which I find it strange they don’t have that information as they had a lot of elderly people eating there. In the end the meal I had was mid at best, waiter skinny women with black hair just seemed really uninterested in her job and looked like she didn’t want to be there. Basically very rude and unprofessional.

Absolutely beautifully cooked steak it was full of flavour and still nice and juicey. Job well done to serve 4 steaks and one parma to hit the table at the same time .

Not very impressed with two Caesar Salads was ordered with chicken arrived with none and there was minimal dressing and very bland. The chicken arrived 10 minutes later … too little too late..

Poor food, service and experience. The way the staff is treated by chef and management is appalling can hear him yelling from the kitchen…… UNPROFESSIONAL. Tried to talk to management about it and got completely shut down, do not eat here very poor service unfortunately.

Sandwiched between slot machines and a restaurant was a spacious venue perfect for large functions. We went there for a lunch event and on the menu was a variety of pub food. There was supposed to be pizza on arrival but there didn’t seem to be enough for everyone. For the mains we got the porterhouse steak, chicken parmigiana and crumbed calamari rings - all were pretty good especially the calamari which were so crispy and flavourful, and except for the steak they were generous in portion. There was a bar inside the space also that was handy. The staff members were friendly, although they seemed a bit disorganised serving us meals we didn’t order.

Warm & welcoming. Staff are friendly, helpful & engaging. The food is delicious, great presentation, generous portions & at a reasonable price. The establishment has lovely decor, spacious dining area, comfortable seating & alfresco outdoor dining. We had a very enjoyable evening & will return again.

Visited Knox Club for Dinner. I thought the meals in the Dining room were of great quality with large portions. The Dining room atmosphere was extremely good and busy as it was a Friday evening. There is plenty of easy parking out front of Club. A large Gaming room was attached with a great Bar. On the other side of Dining room there is a large entertainment area with Live Music and entertainment. A great place to try for something a little different.

I cant thank the staff enough. My sons 18th birthday dinner with family and close friends was perfect. Doug and the other staff (I'm sorry I can't remember your name) went above and beyond to make sure the night was fantastic. We had a lovely bistro dinner and the bar tenders were friendly and amazing. Thank you all

The Knox club has a great local bistro called McCluskey's with very tasty good sized meals and friendly staff, well worth a visit.

Super friendly staff and food is excellent. Will definitely come back again. The ribs & chicken were amazing - can't go wrong. Grilled snapper was great too.

We had my daughter's 21st birthday here and everything was fantastic. Great room and staff with everything super organised. The food was good and the drinks reasonably priced. Thanks for a great night.

We had calamari, mac and cheese bites , garlic pizza and pork ribs and wings. Everything was good. Could have used a hit of salt. The sauce on the ribs was delicious but those ribs had seen better days. They needed to be cleaned up better and they needed to be cooked a lot longer for then to be tender at least. Which is a shame cause the rest of the food was yum

Porter house steak with gravy was great. Appreciate their staff walk me to car park on that night after a small incident at front door. That was great service to protect their customers.

We held our daughters 21st here in The Elms Room and were very, very impressed with the venue and service. Our thanks to Ally who went above and beyond to help us organise the night. No question was a problem and communication was excellent. Food we chose was very, very tasty and plentiful. Drinks at the bar were extremely reasonable and the overall service was excellent. We highly recommend The Knox Club if you have any functions.

Reasonable local community club. Reasonable quality food. Priced similar to equivalent clubs. Basic sportsbar and tab area. Good sized gaming area with pokies, Keno etc. Clean. Generally friendly staff.

We had our work break-up lunch here, 12 people and the bistro was packed. Everyone at our table had a good meal, my eye fillet steak was cooked perfectly. A couple of dishes were forgotten, you were very busy and it was rectified without a problem. Staff are friendly and efficient. All in all it was a very enjoyable lunch.

How can you go wrong with these legends. The sports bar meals are so filling, tasty and cheap they pretty much make you come back again and again. Always great for lunch!

Disappointing staff and venue. Renovating so the bistro is covered and not very appealing, came in for a meal on the deck in the sun for Australia Day. Asked reception when i came in if we could eat on the deck and was told yes, so went down where she said and its all closed off. Dont want to sit by a window covered in black sheets, perhaps staff should know whats going on in the venue ? Was told by bistro girl if we wanted we could eat in the members bar, as they have an outdoor area. Well thats smoking only so no we cant eat there. We are smokers so understand the need for our smoking zone but no outdoor eating area means no business from us. Had a beer and left to go somewhere with some Aus Day atmosphere and outdoor eating! At least the beer was cold.

This is our go to girls meeting place. Great atmosphere with seniors enjoying lunch. The senior meals are well priced, tasty and very satisfying. Have tried other venues but this is the best.

Food was ok they have great desserts, reception and bar staff were extremely rude. Was waiting to order a coke and overheard two bar staff complaining about Christmas functions and how annoying they are to work them. Then came up to me and started saying look we are out of blue grenadier, so you can’t order this and there’s no more of this ok! I politely said thanks for informing me of what I was never going to order I’m just after a coke. He rolled his eyes at me and slammed it on the counter walking away? So rude. Don’t work functions if you don’t like them ..... simple

Recent renovations present a light and spacious dining. area however the table we were directed to was covered in sticky evidence of several drink glasses and we had to ask for someone to wipe the table. The meal was fair but the broccoli was too hard to eat.

This is a great place to come. Unfortunately we had to deal with an ignorant bar tender tonight. "Lee" is a cancer to such a good establishment. This person needs to be retrained as he has forgotten customer service otherwise great place to go!

The staff are welcoming and friendly on a saturday lunch time. The carpeted dinning space is an excellent upgrade, its so much quieter now! Also the spaciousness due to social distancing. Lunch was gr8, dessert as delicious as it looked.

Not very impressed with the woman on reception, she was very rude to guests . I was visiting your club for a 50th Wedding Anniversary of Shirley and John Thomas, the receptionist was very rude . But things really improved ,the staff waiting on the guest's were brilliant very professional. The food was excellent and the portions were very large and prices for drinks were reasonable.

The cost of this restaurant, is high for a Christmas reservation at $95 dollars per head, with very limited selections. The entry was crowded and inefficient with only 1 available QR code to scan, causing a bottleneck in the line. Inside, the tables are too small to accommodate 4 people, and are filled with extraneous clutter, and little selection for meals, especially considering the cost. In the last however, the staff were kind and courteous.

The staff were amazing, they looked after us out on the deck and made us feel welcome. The food was beautiful and the Angus burger and grilled lamb was perfect. Good portions and reasonable prices. Thank you, we are looking forward to our next visit

Wednesday night the the roast of the day was all gone by about 7.15 and that’s the 3rd time that’s happened in the last few times I’ve been there so I ordered salmon in a filo pastry when I cut into it there was a tiny piece of salmon inside about an inch big. Shocking, Two fails in one night.

Updated review since previous visit. Food was well below average to the point really not edible. Could not even cover the taste up with salt. Not sure due to staff shortages if this chef actually has cooking experience. Most foods were sweet for some reason! And the chips were overcooked and the chicken appeared undercooked with skin on. Not sure we will return for business lunches until things settle down with staff hiring professional chefs with experience in cooking food. Friendly staff, food very nice. Nice option of sitting outside

Was out in a Monday night at their gaming machine. Won a $2500 amount had to wait for ages for the check. The manager in charge was Chloe mead who was a unpleasant person with attitude not correct for the business. She claimed she had the internet down and to do due diligence before handing the check over. Funny thing the machines were all working. Maybe customer service training is need here. Nasty nasty Chloe.

Spent time in the Deck, too cold as its winter and the party in the evening. Heating could've been better, otherwise it's an awesome room, good food and a nice bar to ourselves

I've been a member for nearly 2 years and the food was never an issue until tonight either you have had new management and change of chef,as we were very disappointed the roast lamb was chewy,potatoes were undercooked and not roasted. My wife's lamb cutlets were overcooked and she received a few broccoli and carrot slices no potatoes. And to top it off my daughter had the fish burger and fries the fish was under coated crumb base KFC would have done better.Anyway just voicing my disappointment.

Nice place , extremely sus having to have your driver licence scanned just to eat at the bistro though. Also the meatlovers pizza is terrible , all u could taste was salt , the place and service are nice but i personally wont go again.

The kitchen was 'at capacity ' so we couldn't order food. Asked at 3 different times and were told the same story.

Christmas lunch was disappointing! Huge cost to have air conditioning malfunction- despite being told it was brand new ! Function Manager Ally provided poor service did not smile and unhappy she had to work on the day instead of being with her family … something we did not need to be advised of! Very unprofessional . She also was heard berating few staff who did a good job. Halfway through service @ 1.30pm no crackling left … not worth the money and won’t be back. We appreciate you opening and providing lunch for us BUT have lots of work to do with some of the staffs attitude and management who did not seem to care about feedback which was again given today . Maybe having portable cooling units as a solution to help customers be more comfortable would help show you care ….

The blonde white reception lady with heavy fake eyelashes was so rude!!! She just cares about showing my license. No greeting! No smile! No welcoming! But the Micheal inside the bar was so friendly and helpful. Thumbs up for his attitude.

Well the chicken parma was awesome even the veg was cook just right, the pizza was just OK for a meatlovers it need more meat on it, the venue is great with very helpful staff.

Service was brilliant - all staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was very average - fish was chewy and a bit greasy, warm brownie was a cold biscuit base with banana syrup on top. Disappointed.

A great place for a meal. It has a menu that caters for most people. It has also has a nice vibe for groups who want a catch-up. The bar has a good range of beer and wines. A nice layback place to see your friends.

We held a family birthday function at the Knox Club and could not be happier with the service we received. Ally, the event Manager, was a delight to deal with and ensured that everything ran smoothly. I cannot recommend the Knox Club highly enough if you are looking for a venue for your next function.

What a disgrace of a club. My mother is banned from gambling for 6 months & they still have let her in on multiple occasions, all about them making money and not for the individual to become sober. Just like many gambling venues that should be shut down for good on things like these alone.

It was so nice to have a decent sized Seniors meal. l.had a steak which was cooked the way l asked for it to be done. There was no surcharge for using my card which some places are adding on now. Told my friends to go there.
