Very homey atmosphere with pub like food. We had a dinner meeting there and it was a cosy warm place in the cold winter night. The starter was good, croquettes, followed by BBQ meat- brisket, pork belly and chicken tighs accompanied by pickled cucumbers and cabbage and coleslaw. Squares of Dafonoise' potatoes and roasted carrots were fantastic sides complimenting the main. The dessert was a plate with different sweet bites- tiramisu, choc tartelettes and choccolate mousse cake. Nick was great and his service was excellent. I would recommend to pop by if you are in the area and in a mood for homey delicious food in a relaxing, warm and rustic ambiance.

Very Nice restaurant. Different as it used to be a fire station. Well transformed to a very nice place for eating out. A spacious area due to the high ceilings. Also Has a big outdoor area at the back that opens to a carpark. Food was good with ample helpings. Well presented and fresh. Fully licenced with good selections of wines and beers and spirits.. i think a tiny bit expensive, but not overly so, as eating places at this time are battling rising costs . Overall a very pleasant dining experience. Worth trying.

About 6+ people were waiting to even be acknowledged at the front, then we were shown the door to the beer garden. Despite having made a booking there was no reservation or even a suitable table. All the music was way too loud no matter where we sat. Ordering food took an hour, we couldn't even look at the menu without pulling a few teeth. Then once we ordered we had to get it ourselves from the window. Seeing the many orders pile up we just wait for the text telling us whats ours, not that we knew a text was coming at all. The photo is $15!! Of chicken. On top of terrible everything the food was poor quality. Dry chicken, all reheated, tiny quantities. The "smoked" brisket tasted like rehydrated jerky. Salty, lacking any flavour outside of salt or brine.

I felt this would be a great place to sit and chill with a couple of beers, the place had a good vibe. We ordered the loaded Brisket fries and we weren't very impressed, I feel it was slightly garnished with Brisket not "loaded". Perhaps throw a bit more meat on the chips for the price and maybe even some bacon to dress it up a bit more. A big thumbs up for the double cheese burger, it was juicy and full of smokey char flavour. I would get the burger again 😋

Great, genuine food. I ordered the Pitmaster Duo of Meats - Pulled Pork and Brisket which was delicious but wish they served another bread bun with it considering there’s two types of meat there which would allow me to make my own sliders. The fries (which we ordered another serving) and roasted carrots were perfect sides. The Pecan Tart was amazing and the Tiramisu was ok. The powdered chocolate on top let it down.

🍗 Pitmaster Tray 🧀 Mac N Cheese Hash 🐖 Pork Belly Burnt Ends 🥕 Roast Carrots, Smoked Honey 🫐 Eton Mess 🍫 Chocolate Top Deck The Firehouse Ringwood is a laidback restaurant specialising in BBQ, smoked meats and cocktails. It is uniquely housed in an old, heritage listed, ex-metro fire station (hence the name) and features a large open air deck. 🧯 The venue is charming and boasts multiple dining areas with memorabilia scattered throughout. We were seated at a beautiful spot by the fireplace which if you do visit, I recommend requesting. The menu is viewed via QR code which personally unless I’m at a bar, I don’t like and feel it takes from the experience. The cocktail menu is actually quite impressive with a lot of original creations however I did find the Fairy Floss and Coconut Margarita cocktails too sweet and could not sense the alcohol. 🥥 The Mac and Cheese Croquettes were our favourite dish of the night! Sometimes they can be too creamy and bland but these definitely highlighted the cheese! The Pork Belly Burnt Ends were nice although the sauce overpowered the meat and could be better served on the side. The Pitmaster Tray is recommended for 1 but we shared it between 2, for $39 I think it’s great value. The Chicken Drumstick had an incredible crumb and was cooked perfectly. The Pulled Pork and the Brisket were too dry. It was meant to come with Damper but instead it was just a small burger bun. Slaw was nice and creamy. 🍗 For dessert we enjoyed the Top Deck, which was rich and mousse-like. We didn’t think it needed the tart raspberry sauce. The Eton mess was okay. Service needs improvement especially in product knowledge and being more delicate in serving. On the first Wednesday of every month they host a Trivia Night with great prizes to be won. Saturdays and Sundays they run Bottomless Brunch for $65pp which includes 1.5 hours of unlimited cocktails and a brunch menu item. 🍹 ⭐️ 2.8/5 (OK)

Had a Christmas dinner there with work mates. Had the 3 course Christmas meal offered. Building is a former Fire Station and displays an old style building with a number of function rooms. Our group was about 15 in number and food was provided along the length of the table for every one to pick their choice of food. A nice experience.

A lovely laid back smokehouse/beer garden, lovely atmosphere and food. We celebrated our work dinner here and sat around in the beer garden. There's a bar dedicated to the outdoor area and you can order food through the Mr Yum app using a QR code. The food was great, I enjoyed the Loaded fries, pulled pork, sweet potato fries, smoked honey roasted carrots and Tiramisu. They had outdoor games like bean bag tossing and Jenga...very fun! Definitely recommended for large groups. They also have indoor dining which I didn't get to experience yet.

It is a very good place for any occasion. The ground floor has a restaurant, further back is a Beer Garden Bistro and a bar🍸🍹🍺🥂. Upstairs is ideal for a wedding reception or birthdays. The food was great, and the service was impeccable. The staff were friendly and attentive. All up, it was a good experience. The carpark is just behind the Bistro. Highly recommended. Attended a 21st birthday 🎂.

Very happy with tonight’s service, food and atmosphere in the restaurant were great. Only negative was our water wasn’t replaced. Lots of choices for those that are GF and/or DF. Very happy that I could actually have a dessert with the vegan option/GF/DF panacotta. We will be coming back and bringing friends! Look forward to checking out the rest of the venue and their bottomless brunch.

We were a group of 5, and had dinner in the restaurant. Amazing! The food was delicious and service exceptional. I’ve never tasted lamb so delicious and the roasted carrots were super tasty too. Highly recommend.

The menu was fantastic The guy that I'll flag as probably the owner did that cool thing where he learns your name and says it. Everyone at the table loved all the food. The only thing that hurts is the price point. One day, some guy decided that smoked meat was a "fancy" thing so jacked up the price by 1000%. The same food I would get for $20 in the US, was appx $400 here. I don't think that's their fault. It's just a thing that has become what it is. But besides being sort of sticker shocked, I'm happy to say that whenever someone visits and I want to impress them, The Firehouse have positioned themselves well.

My husband I came here for the first time tonight. The meals are beyond delicious. We had the 3 courses to share, it was amazing every bite as tasty as the last. The service was beyond fantastic. The atmosphere was really nice We will definitely be back.

The service was good, I assume it might’ve been the manager that initially greeted us who was super friendly. Really disappointed with the food, I came here maybe 5 years ago and remember the food being good, not sure what’s happened. I ordered the carrots as a side and the way it was described on the menu was not what I received, instead oily honey carrots.

Had the best time hiring the deck area for our event! All of the staff were super helpful, attentive and adaptable. Was such a good experience for all. Nick was really helpful throughout organizing as well! Nothing was too hard, very happy!

The pumpkin salad and the lamb are gorgeous. I wouldn't recommend the burger of the day (which is the only burger type) because it doesn't tell you what burger you're having. I believe you can ask though. 4/5 stars.

Went for a bottomless brunch. I had the big breakfast and found the steak was quiet plain and seemed to have little to no flavour as well as quite overcooked. Two other big breakfast dishes the same as mine but everyone else who got different dishes said their food was alright. When staff came to take our drink orders they spoke and responded to us quite rudely, like we were annoying them by ordering drinks. For the price $65 a head we definitely got our moneys worth so no downfall there but I think the staff were our main problem, seemed like they didn't want to be there and it reflected onto the way they spoke to us.

I had a beautiful meal here last weekend and it was divine! I loved the little nooks creating privacy between the areas, the food was beautiful and the service was incredible!! Highly recommend the Turkish delight mocktail and definitely would return again!

Had the eye fillet, small size for the price, and over cooked... There were 9 of us, 7 had the eye fillet. Every single one over cooked :( Nice atmosphere, and friendly staff though. But if the steaks are that expensive, you'd hope it's cooked to the diners liking.
