Dined for dinner with friends. We enjoyed fish cakes, penang beef curry, stir fried ginger chicken, pad thai chicken, rice & roti. All the food was tasty. Service friendly.

Wow! My first time here and a bit far from home BuT.....it was worth it. Was with a group of 9 or 10 and we ordered a selection of entrees and mains to share......everything was beautiful....cooked to perfection with tasty sauces....just gorgeous! But.....coffee was awful so won't order coffee here again. Will return even though it's quite a distance from where I live. Just loved it.

The best Asian restaurant I’ve ever been to. This is the best!! And everybody knows it!! I used to go to Tai Tables multiple times a week when I lived around the corner- 23 years ago. Back then it was quickly building a reputation for great food, although the service was bad. (That was part of the charm) Someone has not given it a 5/5 rating. It would be funny if this was due to bad service. I went there last night. Again. WOW Same owner - thanks Dennis. Bigger building Great food. I only order the classic curries. Really nice friendly atmosphere. The staff are great and very helpful. If you're vegetarian or vegan, they have a totally separate menu which you have to request. The food and flavours are very authentic and amazing. Great food choices for all.

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years. Have always loved it. Love the food, love the friendly staff, love the cosy atmosphere. First time back at Thai Tables since pre covid days... Food was fabulous but we felt pressured to hurry up and eat and hurry up and leave for most of the night. A constant interruption from staff to be warned that kitchen was closing if we wanted to order any more food. Food was being removed whilst we were still eating our obviously unfinished meal. But the worst part was the 3 minute warning to leave as they were closing at 9. We felt under pressure and extremely uncomfortable to comfortably finish our evening. Many diners were leaving in a forced rush. The fast exited diners on the footpath all felt shellshocked at the very uncomfortable dining experience. So disappointing and will not return. Have since heard others have had the same experience.

This was one of the nicest Thai meals I've enjoyed in a while. The dishes were cooked perfectly. The curry sauce delivered a satisfying kick of heat, and it was refreshing that the dish wasn't toned down to cater to the broader palate, maintaining its authentic spice.

Absolutely good restaurant reasonable price actually cheap price... Good service.... Clean tidy... Tasteful food and been there many times. But just need booking always fully booked

Ordered vegetable Tom Yum, Barramundi with cashew and pineapples, and Pad Thai in this restaurant and they were all amazingly delicious! Recently visited Thailand and Thai food craving kicked in hence this visit. The staff are pleasant and accommodating as well. Place is clean and has enough tables to accommodate a number of customers.

For many years I’ve been eating here and never a bad experience. Fresh delicious Thai food and a spacious restaurant with lovely staff. One small suggestion would be to have the option to choose a pickup time for online take away orders or know the time before placing the order but the website does tell you once the order is placed what time to pickup and I’ve never been left waiting for long. Five stars!

Great variety of dishes on offer, from salads, to stir-fries, noodles and curries. Absolutely loved the duck stir fry, savoury yet doesn't feel too heavy. Delightful tangy seafood salad. Stir fry noodles with beef reminded of beef hor fun. Massaman curry was a great accompanient with their fluffy rice. Service was on the slower side as there weren't enough waiting staff for the size of the restaurant. Front door was also very stiff and needed a fair amount of energy to open.

We shared a wonderful night last night. A party of 13 and the staff are beautiful, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Thai food with delicious flavours and so fresh. This is a beautiful place. Such amazing food

We love this local Bayswater favourite. From the pad Thai, to their panang and massaman curries, fried barramundi in chili sauce, to their colourful and fresh stir fried dishes (chili tofu, pad med mamuang) --these are brimming with flavour and servings are satisfying. Service remains attentive, polite, and helpful. Even on week nights, it's a famous haunt for the locals. With BYO (although you will need to pay a per person fee) and a bottle-o just nearby, Thai Tables is a venue for a good meal with family or friends. This remains absolutely up there as one of my favourite Thai restaurants in Melbourne.

I hadn’t eaten at Thai Tables for a number of years but can confirm the quality of the food remains unmatched. Authentic, fresh and completely delicious, I couldn’t recommend it any more highly. Oh, and the service is just delightful.

Such a hidden gem in the area! We decided to stop by and try their take-away which was amazing! Portions were quite generous and simply delicious. Staff was very friendly and we decided we had to go back and eat-in the next time. Their restaurant has a cozy, spacious and clean. Such a lovely atmosphere that invites you to come back again. Reservations are reccomended if staying for dinner, but take aways is always a great option too. Thai Tables has gained new loyal customers in our family for sure.

The place was filled with people ok Friday night. The foods came out really quick. Everything was delicious!!

Absolutely beautiful, had many different dishes. But my favourite part of the meal was the banana fritter and ice cream. If we lived in Melbourne would go again and again.

I do understand the inflation but charging $12 for a bowl 🥣 of soup (practically 90%) water 💧 is outrageous. No complaints on the quality of food but I dont think its affordable anymore.

First time visit and was very nice food. Prawns in fried potato strips and prawn and calamari dishes were great. Waitress had a big area to cover and did a great job.
