We did not enjoy at this place honestly. Nothing was great to comments. We ordered corn fritters which was absolutely tasteless, crab/prawn roll was bland, watermelon juice which was just icy and we couldn’t taste watermelon, vegan fried rice was full of onions and broccoli. Very less rice and again tasteless. The crispy pork with chilli jam was ok as it was too sweet and at one point I couldn’t continue eating. Overall disappointment and would not visit this place again. We prefer little Bangkok at Doncaster instead.

Kinn Thai is the BEST Thai restaurant I have been to so far. Every time without fail, they produce the most delicious and amazing food. It's always served hot, it's always fast and ALWAYS delicious. I have been here 20+ times and never once had a bad experience.

Great food with superb service. Soft shell crab is a must try. Try to prebook to avoid any wait times during weekend or holidays. Tables are small and would have been better if the tables were a bit more spacious.

Loved the soft shell crab, very flavourful sauces. The paw paw salad was quite refreshing. Satay chicken could be better if it was charred on the outside. The peanut sauce was delicious though. Service was average.

We dropped by on a Saturday evening at around 6:30 and were very lucky to get a table for 2 as the place was very busy... Which was a good sign. Staff were very efficient and our order was taken quickly. We ordered the fried tofu for entree, green chicken curry and beef Pad Thai for mains as well as a couple of drinks. Total price was around $67 so prices were good. Food came out quickly and the sizes of the dishes were generous although I'd say a little more chicken and beef in the dishes would have been perfect. Overall, we enjoyed our food and would be happy to recommend if you are in the mood for Thai at Knox.

The service is very quick, the staff are super busy but also very helpful, food quantity is generous, taste is undoubtedly YUMMY, and price is affordable. We will visit again for sure. Thank you for accommodating our group of 14 people without advance booking.

Kinn Thai never fails to deliver delicious food and amazing service! I’ve visited multiple times and every menu item that I’ve tried has tasted amazing!

Been here 3 times (2pp) and for all those times we were only allowed to seat at small table to for 2 even when there were heaps empty tables around. The services was poor with zero greetings/smiles. Would not recommend as there are way better opts around! Plus the they took forever to cook.

By far my favourite Thai restaurant. Service is very quick. The flavours were excellent in the rice dishes I got. All other dish taste great!

I had dinner here at KinnThai in knox last night with friends. The place was packed, the food was delicious. The waitress who looked after us was really nice, she even took heaps of photos for us. The drinks took a while though. I highly recommend the Char Grilled Beef, it's one of the best I've tasted. Can't wait to dine here again.

Wow, the flavours are amazing! I had a dish off the lunchtime menu, rice with vegetables and peanut sauce, sounds pretty basic but the flavours were fantastic! I’ve also had the scallop entree and green Thai curry which was delicious as well. Service was good.

Good Thai food in the heart of Knox ozone. Great atmosphere and ambiance with a full bar and outdoor dining. We only had takeout so can’t comment on the service and dining experience. However we loved the menu on offer and our takeout was ready to pick up in reasonable time.

Ordered delivery. Food was not fresh. Recooked chicken (which tastes horrid)! They used frozen vegetables and not fresh! Ruined Friday dinner. You’d think a bit more effort would be made when we’re trying to support local businesses in these trying COVID times. Absolute disappointment

Most of the food here is very tasty. The restaurant can get crowded and noisy. Furnishings get uncomfortable after a while. Service was good. Food came out quickly. Their minimum spend before allowing credit is quite high.

Had the Wagyu Beef, which was sent from and tender. The downside was without the accompanying sauce, the beef was fairly flavourless and the meals did not come at the same time, hence the 4/5 rating. - 2019 After being seated, and signalling four times to the wait staff, it was fifteen minutes before we could place an order. Once placed, it took a further fifteen minutes for the food to arrive. I had the Thai Green Curry which was fairly flavourless, we except for an over powering aniseed/licorice flavour. - 2022 I do not recommend this place.

This place is busy during peak dining hours so it’s best to book tables or dine in before the peak time when doing walk-ins. Their chilli soft shell crab is one of my favourites. Their drink named Koh Samui sunrise reminded me of our trip to that place. Staff are prompt and attentive to customers. Place is clean.

Went to Kinn Thai for a work function (20 people), ordered of the menu, food was great, we had a large range of different starters and mains enjoyed every one i tasted, service was fast and accommodating, very clean and stylish place to eat.

Booked for 6:30pm dinner, arrived on time but they only sat us down at 6:50pm and was told our session was only upto 8pm, which was still do-able, ordered right away, drinks and entrees came out at reasonable time around 7:15-7:20ish, but our main courses weren't out until close to 8pm after chasing up 3 of the waitresses as the table next to us only arrived at 7:30pm but they got their main courses before us. Table next to us thought we were waiting for dessert after they heard us chasing for our orders! Food portion is rather small, the Fountain Gate store is better. The only win for the night is that we didn't get kicked out at 8pm due to their delay.

Love dining here for the amazing Thai food. Was so happy to see that the Massaman Lamb Shank is back on the menu! I wish it was permanently on the menu. Also can't ever miss having the classic Green Chicken Curry.

Now, if you're a Thai food critic, or very much into traditional Thai food, maybe you can pass this place. If you just want a simple, less traditional Thai food, this is a place you could try. Less spicy, more of fusion taste. Food is good but not mind blowing wow. Place is narrow, very busy at night. So may not be suitable if you have little fella with you. You're still able to get the attention of the waitress even tho they are busy. The pork ribs were slow to come, the rest is okay.

Food was delicious, everone enjoyed. The green curry was lovely and spicy. The drinks are fun, tasty and creative. Personally i think it does tastes very similar to the food i had when in Thailand.

They seemed to be bit understaffed. Both the chicken and duck were undercooked they were chewy. Duck curry from “Dodee Paidang” is awesome one of the best I have tried, your chef should go and try once it’s in the city. Curry puff was a waste it tested like the fillings were from the frozen packet. Few positive things: Curry was good and the Yakut drink was also good along with ambience. It was compete waste of time and money.

Can't fault Kinn Thai. They were busy, but the food was served promptly. We ordered the pumpkin stir fry from the vegetarian menu and it was so delicious that we'll definitely be back. Atmosphere was lively!

It’s a Thai restaurant that can compete with other Thai restaurants as far as food is concerned in a commercial set-up. If you’re in Westfield Knox, it’s worth dropping by and try their grill dishes. The Tom Yum is not comparable to our local Thai restos as well as their presentation though. Overall, if you’re craving for a taste of Thai, Kinn Thai will be a delight

Came here again today 26/7/20 and have to say this place is as good as before, food is great very fresh and fragrant flavour Bonus points for the take away bag and hand drawn art on it, was very cute

Food is pretty good! We ordered the chilli soft shell crab, panang curry and pad see iw. Tasted great! Would have expected more portion from the price we paid (based on our experience with other restaurants), but the 3 dishes filled us up well. All 3 dishes tasted good.

Very authentic Thai restaurant. Loved all the food we ordered. Wish mango sticky rice or similar desserts can be added to the menu.

This place serves amazing Thai cuisine. We normally take away or eat in. The quality, portion size, price, everything is perfect. I think when you order take away, the portion size is bigger. my husband and I normally order beef mazemen and chicken green curry with rice and some different entrees and it cover us for a lunch and dinner when taking away. At weekends, the service could be better as some time the wait time is long. All in all perfect and we always go back.

Nam Tok Beef is amazing. Perfectly cooked tender wagyu beef and fresh salad! The spicy and sour sauce has a really nice flavour and so I couldn't stop eating. Tom Yum Prawn (small dish) is great with any other food. If you are a soup lover, add this one to your order. The price is a bit expensive for the quantity, but the food itself is so delicious and the location is good too, so I'd like to visit again.

One of the very good Thai restaurants in the Knox area. They have been around for 8-9 years and their food has been consistent in taste. The crab prawn roll, Curry puffs, Pad Thai prawns, Fried rice, Spring rolls, Asian greens, Green curry veg/chicken and rice are some of the dishes we have ordered. They do extraordinarily well to accommodate customers even on their busiest days without a big wait time.

We arrived when the restaurant was packed and were seated within five minutes. The food took less than fifteen minutes to arrive, which exceeded my expectations given they were very busy. I had the stir fried chicken with chilli and Thai basil sauce, with steamed rice (ordered separately). It came together with broccoli, beans and onions and tasted great. Overall very good, would have given 4.5 if I could, only negatives were the close proximity of other tables and amount of passing foot traffic, as well as the food, which I would rate as good to very good but not fantastic / fine dining, but more than acceptable for the price paid. Note that I was so hungry and the food was so good that I partially demolished the plate before taking the photo shown.

Massaman Lamb Shank was mind-blowingly delicious, rich, and perfectly balanced. The tender meat melted in my mouth, complemented by the fragrant and flavorful Massaman curry and paired with scrumptious roti. The service was excellent, with attentive staff ensuring a smooth experience despite being very busy. The menu had a wide variety of dishes, catering to different tastes. Overall, Kinn Thai is a must-visit for Thai cuisine enthusiasts, providing an unforgettable dining experience that is more out of the box than traditional Thai food.

Would have given zero stars, due to extremely rude girl managing the queue at the entranceway. My partner had called to make reservations but was told it wasn't required. We promptly showed up as a party of 6, but was treated with disdain by this obnoxious waitress who exclaimed "table for what??" very loudly and rudely. Bear in mind my partner said very politely "table for 6 please". Will never dine there again. Extremely disappointed.

This place is always 10/10 in my opinion. Always fresh, hot and tastes amazing, we have visited at least 50 times and NEVER let down. Because of Covid we now get delivered. Ordered a Pad Thai yesterday. All i got was flavoured noodles. No sight of chicken or veggies. A complete waste of money.

We ordered PAD THAI with prawn.. but its taste like noodles with sweetttttt chili sauce like.. taste is awful as very plain, nothing like authentic PAD THAI at all. We left the food more than 90%. It is totally wasing money..I won't come back. It ruined my first date with girl friend.. Very disappointed!!!

I want to express how utterly disappointed I am with this business. Throughout the pandemic I supported this restaurant, purchasing my favourite meal most weeks. The staff recognise me as I would dine in frequently when they were open. However, this evening I decided to place an order after around a month of trying new restaurants. I ordered my usual Pad Thai chicken. Only for it to arrive bone dry as they did not add the Pad Thai sauce. This has never happened before and I was confused so I called them and explained how my meal had arrived. They told me to take it up with Uber Eats and to get a refund. I asked if they would remake the food for me and they said no. This really confused me because the first rule of any hospitality business is to correct the issue ESPECIALLY for a long time customer who has supported you throughout one of the toughest times. The fact that they passed off the issue and told me to take it up with Uber AND even justifying that's how Pad Thai is made now WITHOUT THE PAD THAI SAUCE. The person I spoke to wan't apologetic or understanding which made me feel like the idiot who wasted hard earned money on a revolting dry meal. I can understand that the restaurant was extremely busy, but not even offering to fix the issue is unacceptable. I've introduced a lot of people to this restaurant, sure as hell I'm not returning.

I haven't had meals from here too often but the couple of times I have it's been delicious. After my old go to Thai restaurant closed, I'm really glad to have found this one. The satay skewers have an ample amount of sauce with them which is always nice and the chicken Pad Thai always has a great depth of flavor to it. I can't wait for the next time I have Thai for dinner.

What a pleasant surprise. Prawns were fresh and well cooked. The wagyu steak was tender, tasty and a decent size priced only in mid $20s. Deserves a return visit!

It's ok

Cozy and lovely place to have lunch with family. The Tom yum was exceptionally chilly yummy and so were the veggies with coconut milk. It's probably the closest you can get to Thailand without actually being there. I would have given you guys 5 star all the way , however I noticed the servings were too little that it could hardly feed a small child. Maybe add a bit more next time ?

Saturday surprise date night was a hit here. Brought us back to Holidays in Thailand. The food was tasty, well priced and came out quickly. We really enjoyed our meal here and will be back. Thank you!

We had a lovely time and always live to come back. We brought our own wine (BYO, $3 per person) and enjoyed the atmosphere. Food is good but nothing too special.
