Well what a disappointment one of our favourites seems to have been taken over , had to call them over to order after sitting for half hour, food ok but served us a calamari dish, when pointed out this was not what we ordered she argued with me ( I don’t eat calamari!!), didn’t want to cause a scene so just left it on the table uneaten and paid for it. Didn’t check to see how meal was going or offer any further drinks, would have got at least 2 more glasses of wine out of us, When we went to pay we are told they take cash only !! Wow , seriously !! That’s us off the loyal customer list I’m afraid :(

Beautiful Thai restaurant in the heart of Boronia. Impeccable service and food. Their 'Volcano crab' is absolutely to die for you must try it. :)

My husband and I have just moved to this area and want to have some Thai food.. Once I searched Siam Terrace is come up but I read the reviews not very good as they just change management… but we still try … so we didn’t expect a lot but once I stepped inside one of staff smile and gave warm welcome.. she is very friendly and polite.. I ordered spring rolls, roti with peanut sauce , Pad Thai Prawn and Drunken noodle chicken… OMG they’re so yummy.. I finally get favourite Thai restaurant to go from now😉😊😊 Definitely recommend this place !! New management is very amazing

Having been regulars for many years at Siam Terrace, it was disappointing to hear that the establishment is under new owners. Nevertheless, wanted to continue to support local businesses in Boronia. Here is my honest and constructive feedback: ● Decor- A fresh vibe has been injected into the place with an attempt to provide a more sophisticated experience. ● Service- Friendly and attentive. However, the food took a while to come out. ● Food- This was the biggest disappointment. Despite hearing that they have retained the original chefs, the food definitely did not have the same flavour as previously. The panang chicken curry was extremely mild (even somewhat bland), the sauce was very thin and lacked the rich coconut flavour. The portion sizes were also less than desirable. With only one size available for steamed jasmine rice, you would need to order a seperate rice for each person. ● Value for money- Whilst the prices generally haven't changed, the portion sizes have and thus unfortunately it doesn't have the same appeal as it once did. For example: $4 for one small piece of roti, whereas you use to get two large pieces. Overall, if you are a new customer and haven't been here before then it is worth trying and giving it a go. However, if like me you were a loyal customer of the original Siam Terrace then unfortunately I think you will end up being quite disappointed.

What a Amazing thai food, friendly staff.

I am a local and have ordered here quite a few times. It has always been average to good. Tonight was disappointing. It was awful. I always order pad thai and it is edible. The colour Tonight looked like dirty dish water. The taste not much better. It's now put me off for good. Thai chili basil in bayswater is my go to and I'll never leave now.

This used to be my family favourite dining venue. We found out it has changed owners and while the food appeared to be the same, the service was poor. As mentioned by other recent reviewers, my husband and I waited 15 minutes before having our order taken and another 20 before we were served. The previous owner would run this restaurant single handedly with utmost efficiency including replenishing drinks before they were finished. We will leave this venue for a while to see if it improves with time. Probably should be OK for takeaway....especially if the chef is as previous. Was also informed at time of payment that the EFTPOS machine was not working and had to pay cash. We were fortunate to have sufficient....perhaps if this happens again, staff should advise diners prior to taking an order.

Just ordered takeaway as I have many times. This time pretty disappointed with serving very little food just sauce. Food wonderful as always. But container served in half the size as previous orders. Medium round takeaway container. Very disappointed in amount of food for price. Honestly was fishing through sauce with spoon.

Great food! Really friendly service.. staff always go above and beyond to make our visit excellent! highly recommend their Thai fried rice, Pad see ew, Green Curry... very consistent fresh and delicious.

We have been regulars here for many years. We had no idea there was new management until my husband went to pick up take-away. We were told 20 mins until pick-up, then my husband had to wait an extra 30 mins once down there. Food was expensive…$65 for pad Thai, beef curry and beef stirfry - no rice or roti or entrees. This was even after a 10% discount for the long wait. Serves were smaller, no tofu in the pad Thai, no mushrooms in the stir fry, no peanuts in the massaman (although there were carrots taking up space) - this was despite apparently having the same chefs. It will be a while before we eat at this restaurant again unfortunately…we hope they can make some improvements and do well as we would love for this place to still be somewhere we go.

A little disappointed. The taste of the food was lovely but what I got for what I payed for was ...well... criminal really! 4 x very very thin slices of beef ,2 x cherry tomatoes cut in half and a quarter of a cup of lettuce ie: thai beef salad cost me $19. I don't think so 🤨 these restaurants need to step up and stop ripping off the customer 😒

The service was fabulous, the lady who looked after us was very attentive and friendly however that's where the positives end. The food was bland, no taste and the beef was overcooked/tough as was the chicken. Needless to say, we wont be returning any time soon.

Told at 7pm it would be 30 minutes Now 8.05 pm still waiting . Just want to be told the correct wait time when ordering ! Very Frustrating.

This Resturant is a true gem! A taste sensation in every dish, great menu with plenty of choices. Red duck curry a star!

Having eaten at Siam maybe 6 or 7 times, I can definitely say the food is consistently good. Service is excellent, location easy to get to with decent parking. Recommended.

NEVER DISAPPOINTS! The consistency of this place is phenomenal. Every dish I have tried is absolutely delicious and I’m never disappointed. I always try something different and from the entrees, to the curries, to the noodle dishes…everything has well and truly hit the spot. The staff are very efficient and friendly. I’m never made to wait for my order. Highly recommend.

Have ordered from this restaurant through uber and menu log. Food is always great, and always delivered professionally and ahead of time. We put an order in through menu log today, they called us to say it will be a 45min wait tonight is that or OK do we want to cancel? We were happy to wait, and 20 min later our food was at the door. 5 stars is not enough for these guys at siam terrace!!! Will miss you when we are no longer local.

We've had the pleasure of dining here with our friends on six occasions over the past few years. The food is magnificent and the serving sizes are excellent....arguably the best Thai restaurant in Melbourne. The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

Ive found authentic Thai food is hard to come by in melbourne, but i was pleasantly surprised when dining at Siam Terrace! We had a nice get together amongst friends, everyone enjoyed it! Great service in a clean and comfortable setting. We will be back again soon.

We have ordered many dishes from here for take away over the past 12 months and are never disappointed. Food is of great, staff are friendly, prompt and personable and restaurant appears to be neat and clean

I ordered Takeaway here the price has been a bit changed but still good price if you compare with other Thai restaurants. It is very Big portion ,very good taste and great quality I think it even better with the new management When I picked up the food, I was very surprised the restaurant is very very clean👍👍
