Mum’s Kitchen Burger is the only place i have burgers. Burgers are consistently good, only the freshest ingredients used and i am always impressed by the quality. Their chicken burgers are decent but honestly the beef patties are the best. Onion rings and shoestring fries are really good as well. must try the Mum’s Burger sauce if you haven’t. Wouldn’t have the chicken wings again but they were decent. Very good even when you get it to go.

Can't believe I lived in the area for almost 2yrs before finally discovering this place through word of mouth from another satisfied customer of theirs - my neighbour!. It lived up to the expectations with their delicious burgers and friendly service. Highly recommended trying!.

Love the beef burgers here! 🍔 Their beef patties are so delicious and juicy. 🐄 I love the relish they use in their burgers. It is very tasty. 😋 Their shoestring fries are not too bad either. 🍟 A very filling and hearty meal. My belly and tastebuds are satisfied :~)

Best burgers ever. They use an actual charcoal grill and that gives the patties that little extra kick. I had the Pamela and was very happy and the big chips are spectacular - will definitely be back to try something new.

OMG! Their onion rings is amazing! I need a bigger jaw for having their tower tall burger full of yummy ingredients. Delicious maca & cheese pattie in the Simpson. Hope they take attention to the crumble on seating and non grease payment device for me to put pin number in.

Looks like a good little place for a family to go out for a burger night. Not really my speed, but since our favourite burger joint, Flametree Burgers at Ferntree Gully closed (due to not being able to get staff), we're limited on places to go for a good burger. I had the Barack O-Parma (minus onion & cheese), but didn't think the pesto went well with the napoli sauce. Once I scrapped the pesto off it was a really good burger and I'd order it again. My Husband & his mate enjoyed their burgers, with additions, except his mate could not detect any cheese injection in his burger patties, and he ordered wedges & they brought him fries, which they quickly corrected. Disappointingly they're not licenced to serve alcohol. Basic cafe style atmosphere, definitely not a restaurant.

Contender for the best onions rings I reckon. Tasty loaded fries and a delicious burger. The only issue I had with it was that there was too much sauce in it. Ask for a little bit less and you will have an amazing burger

Went to get lunch today and my staff and I got the “Ruben” An amazing sandwich. Was beautiful. The owner and staff were fantastic to deal with and the service with a smile was well received. Top class menu, food and staff. Highly recommend.

My Son and I ordered 2 burgers, and we could see the chips plated up first and sat there for 10 minutes, then my burger was pkated up, again sat there for what seemed like another 10 minutes, then they brought it out and it was cold, then my sons burger came out a few minutes later. Burgers were great as always, but mine would've been much better if it wasn't cold! I get uber-eats is a big part of their business now, but they need to take care of customers who have made the effort to sit down and eat

Damn delicious burgers!! Best burger I’ve ever ever had. Not hugely hungry go for the Bob burger basic and nice. Hugely hungry then the Trent will satisfy your hunger. TIP:ask for them to cook the egg both sides otherwise it’s pretty runny & you will wind up wearing more than u eat!! Great burgers!! Photo is the Trent burger in all its glory!!

Love this spot! Shame you can only order the toasted sandwiches from the Uber eats app. I’ve been telling everyone about them and went to go get some fresh instead of delivered but had to order in the app for pickup while we were in store. Best toasties I’ve had in such a long time though.

I've had burgers from this place a few times, only ever got the chicken ones which have been fine. Fries are good, beef burgers are good according to the mr. But today I seen they had their "pulled pork sliders" and thought...that'll be nice... It was not, it wasn't even pulled pork, I opened the burger to a tiny slab of belly pork, just gristle and fat. It was sadness in a bun, So disgusting and pointless, barely any meat on this 1 inch bit of pork...worst thing is that they charge $18 for these?!? you get two little sliders of sadness. Absolute rip off. Not sure if it's changed hands or something but that's the last time we venture there. Aside from that the place inside was freezing cold, not sure how anyone dines there in a comfortable temperature.

Just read majority of your reviews and nodded my head along with every single glowing review! You guys are fantastic. The food is incredible; never been even slightly disappointed. Always so friendly when we come in to pick up. We are yet to dine in, but will try and make it in soon to do so. Great burger, it has the 'charred' taste which was a pleasant surprise! Came across it when I went to the Dan Murphy's nearby. The shop looks very low profile on the outside, but it's exactly what attracts me to try. Went in at 6PM, thought it's quiet but boy was I surprised to see fresh patties lining up on the grill for takeaways! I ordered for dine in, the lady informed me it was going to be a while but I could wait. There were enough dine in seats and it's actually very cozy inside. Ordered the Simpsons and Bob, the patty were awesome. Ordered a large onion rings which were my absolute favourite! Keep it up the good work!

Wonderful place. If you like good burgers you can’t miss this place. Really friendly lovely staff and food made with real care and passion. Food was fast, hot and fresh, with great balanced flavours. Absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to eat here again. I had the Juicy Lucy and Popcorn chicken. Nice place to dine in and enjoy the place as it feels like a truly Melbourne establishment.

Nice local burger place with a good variety of burgers and sides to choose from. Onion rings were fantastic. Unfortunately they were out of chips when we went but were offered wedges instead which were still very tasty. My burger seemed slightly overcooked and/or undersauced which left it a little dry, but everyone else loved theirs and overall the taste was still good. Will be back to try other options 👍

An amazing experience. The staff are genuinely excited about the food they make. The burgers are excellent and they're willing to... if you dare... make you the hottest wings they can. It also became apparent that they have a relationship with locals and near by businesses staff. Definitely worth the stop. I have also tried them via uber Eats and definitely worth getting anything they make anyway you can.

This has to be the best burger I've ever had! I ordered the Simpson burger with shoestring fries. The food came out in a decent amount of time considering the lunch time rush. The chips were well seasoned and stayed super crunchy. Massive portion for $5. The burger was just amazing, I wish I lived closer to this shop so I could go back again at a sooner date haha The girl at the front counter was lovely and the customer service from her was excellent. Even offered us water and dipping sauce when we were dining in. Easy 5 stars from me. Highly recommend. The quality and quantity you get here is exceptional.

I am genuinely questioning the sanity and/or taste buds of anyone who’s left a negative review for this place, because these are the best burgers in Melbourne. As someone who flipped patties for years I have incredibly high standards when it comes to burgers. Other trendy/popular Melbourne burger joints that I’ve tried don’t even come close to Mum’s. Every element of the food was perfect. Friendly efficient service from a lovely family business. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Amazing burgers! Amazing onion rings! Heck, even amazing popcorn chicken! So so so so yum! If you like hot sauce, try their stash as well. Staff is also super nice and friendly.

Ok burgers but extremely rude staff. Went in to order food and when picking it up decided to add a shake. I asked how long it would take and was assured it would only take a minute or 2. 10 minutes later I was still waiting and being told it would be soon. I eventually asked for a refund and the Asian lady behind the counter started abusing me and telling me that it was my fault for ordering a shake afterwards. Burger patties tasted good even if it wasn't hot. The thick cut chips with cheese and bacon were a congealed mess that fell apart. Not bad burgers but definitely won't be hurrying back soon. Update: Its disappointing to see that you will lie and gaslight rather than take on genuine feedback. Its disappointing but not surprising given your behavior. Maybe you should help supporting the staff to be clear rather than abusing customers. just a suggestion.
