πŸ‘πŸ‘ The best fried rice, full of fresh shrimp, pork and it's actually fried not boiled. Very tasty and generous serving of satay chicken with huge pieces of chicken. The home made spring roll is huge and delicious. So glad this place is still operating after covid shut down. People often mention fried, years, good,

Love eating here, whether takeaway or dining in. The staff are very respectful and thankful for your business. The food is of exceptional quality. Items such as the fried rice have a lot of ingredients in them and their large spring rolls are massive and worth coming here for alone, and I haven't had a dud dish yet in the 8 years I have been there. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food you receive. A favourite of Ferntree Gully locals, this is well worth travelling from nearby suburbs for. Give them a try, I guarantee you won't be disappointed and will return time and again.

Convenient take away, but Since my last review 4 years ago the food has deteriorated. The beef satays were like reheated jerky and the complimentary chicken sweet corn soup was very watery.

We have been going to Loi Eng for about 30 years, and have always loved it. But just before COVID hit the owner had to go away for a while, and has not been back. We have tried there food a few times since and it's been average. In the last couple of months we have tried twice. And I will never go again. It's such a shame as it was so good for so long.

I got the beef and black bean. And the prawn special fried rice. The best I have ever tasted. That's all I have tried but hope the rest of the food is as good.

Usually all the food we get there is good but this time there was something up with the Dim sims we got, they tasted and smelled like something in it or its self was close to out of date and sadly we couldn't eat them, and now have upset stomachs. Hopefully me letting you know this let's you have a look at the ingredients for it and see what could be off about them and hopfully get them being fresh and yum again

Been getting our "Chinese" here for more than 20 years, it's not expensive Gourmet stuff just your basic local. But as such it's exactly what we're after. Their fried dimsims are so big they are a meal on their own. Currently they are only take away, but are very quick and very popular.

Great food for a low price. Try the extra large special fried rice. Very big with lots of ingredients. Home made dim sims are good and so is the enormous spring roll!

I wish I could give lower than one star. We tried this place based on previous reviews. It was beyond repulsive and inedible! All the food had an odd flavour to it, either fishy or of old oil. I originally ordered a calamari, but our order was muddled and we were sent a honey pepper beef instead. I am glad we didn't get it, as I would hate to know what would have turned up. The Nasi Goreng had a horrible strong fish smell and taste, and was dry. Chicken skewers were oily and tough. The sauce that went with them had had layer of oil that would not mix through. The batter on the beef was so thick, we at first confused it for a really fatty bit of meat. The plain sauce on our beef stir fry with baby corn was more a gluggy layer with a strange flavour. And the chicken dish, just strange flavours and not worth eating. It was simply repulsive! We had a taste of all the meals and then threw it out! I hate to see so much food wasted but we simply could not risk our health on such a disgraceful meal. A waste of money completely. Let's just hope we are not incredibly ill from the tiny amount we consumed.
