Shiraz Indian Restaurant in Upper Ferntree Gully is one of the best Indian food offerings in the outer east. Have been coming here for years and I've always been delighted with the meals. Beef Vindaloo, Lamb Korma, Eggplant Beef and Beef do Piazza up there amongst my favorites. Many of the entrees are also great but I tend to order only the bare minimum so to keep enough room to fully enjoy the main course. Staff have always been friendly and quick with their service. Plenty of parking since they are in the vicinity of a shopping centre. A gem of the East.

Been going here for some years now the quality of the food is excellent, my fav is the butter chicken, and the vindaloo, but they're all good very good, great naan bread too prices excellent too great value hard to find Indian food this good 💯 I travel from Box Hill. Highly recommended

Delicious food with excellent service! The mango chicken was slight too sweet but matched well with the naan, and the lamb korma was also nice and creamy. We enjoyed our dinner there and will definitely visit again.

There is no better indian food in the area. Worth the trip from Lysterfield. We have been getting the family pack from Shiraz for 20 years. Not once have we not had perfect food. Hopefully they stay around for another 20 years. Maybe you can do delivery to Lysterfield and get a 6 out of 5 stars . Lol

Very morose atmosphere.husband was not friendly at all and wife looked like she was on the verge of tears. Sad to watch actually. Food is good so takeaway from now on.

We chose to have the set menu for 2, it was absolutely abundant, beautiful food, so fresh and tasty. Amazing butter chicken! So delicious highly recommend! Definitely going again! Sorry I didn't take any pics. Take my word for it restaurant very clean and food was delicious.

You would be hard pressed to find a better Indian restaurant than Shiraaz. Been going there for years and the food has always been good. Highly recommended.

Ordered delivery of two curries. The bottom container wasn't even closed properly or cling wrapped and half of it spilled in the plastic bag. Restaurant refused to do anything as it was "delivered". Driver left before we could check contents. Don't recommend ordering delivery from this restaurant unless you like to eat out of a plastic bag.

It was a cold day and I was wanting Indian and I was like “ let’s go to Shiraz”, so we went and the dude was nice and it was good. The food is scrumdidlyumptious but I have one small problem. The door to get in is too hard to get in. Plz do something about it. Yours sincerely T-dog 🩷🩷🩷

Just shocking spring onions and half a gallon of oil doesn't belong in an authentic biryani It's not a nasi goerang Tandoori has no salt n spice too ! Really disappointed
