Great night of music, and good food

Pub food, which is ok, but don't go if you want a quiet dinner with your other half. Small noisy and unpleasant language abounds plus a very loud band.

Such great atmosphere. The live music is brilliant. Such a cosy place to hang out!

great place - great welcoming locals - small and a bit squishy but at least its genuine. Much better than the stuffy peacock den and over priced acorn next door. Check out open mic night - loved it.

Great Little Place in the Centre of The Basin. You can listen to Live Music & Get a Meal &/or Have a Pint. Can be Little Overcrowded & A bit daunting at First, But Everyone is Local & Nothing gets out of Hand.

Good little pub. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Good pub grub. Wednesday nights, Eastern Blues Association do an open mike night for budding and established musos. Book ahead for a table.

What a great live band a night worth remembering.

Great meals plus super enjoyable Thursday musos night with Sammy Owen. Staff are very friendly. In addition Wednesday nights Frank Carnavale of Mojo Mafia runs the Eastern Blues Association's open mic with a guest blues musician. Gotta love'm and the venue.

Had the best night on new years eve. The band gotcha was fantastic. The staff were really nice, and the atmosphere was great. If I lived closer, would definitely make it my local and go there regularly.

What can I say about this warm homely place! The place is a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are like your best friend, food is great and the music they put on is fantastic, great times had here!!

This place is a hidden gem at the bottem of the mountain, a quirky homely pub ,once you arrive it's hard to leave . The places comes alive with live music Wednesday to Sundays. Do yourself a favour and uber because you won't be driving home ! As the sign says ,you arrive as strangers & and leave as friends .

It's a cosy place to go and listen to a live band, and drinks is reasonably priced. Nothing has changed still a good place to go for a night out of karaoke or live band it was good to see the place is busy 😃

Classic non molested pub. Good grub and great bar staff. Got that old British feel bit not gimmicky. Recommend highly for a beer at the bar or a feed.
