Ordered and paid for scones, only to be told 10 minutes later they didn't have any. When I asked for a refund she tried to give me $6 back after she was clearly told by other staff it was an $8 refund. The coffee ordered was wrong when brought over and the "iced tea" was worse than cordial. Service was slow with a lot of kids working who weren't strong on customer service. Definitely won't go back.

Our food took a while to come out and the staff were okay but it made us feel like we were a burden to be waited on. We had to go up and order our food because although we were two of about 6 in the cafe, the staff were off doing something else. Do not try anything with the mustard, still feeling sick the next day. Also their actual menu is different from the online one, which was very disappointing. Quite overpriced for the experience.

Used to love this place. Went for a late breakfast a couple of days ago. Took the 1 poor lad looking after tables 30 minutes to take our order. Another 35 minutes to get our food. Meal looked great but toast was cold bacon had no taste and as for the fried mushrooms really dissapointing

I wish I had read previous reviews before ordering lunch here. Stopped in for Sunday lunch during school holidays. Cafe was half full. Dark, hot & stuffy inside. We sat outside which was nice. We received our drinks soon after ordering, coffee was great. We then had to wait almost an hour for our meals. Chicken and leek pie was nice, sides were ordinary. Menu states vegan breakfast is GF. Checked with staff, bread with meal was not GF. No apology or offer to replace. Spinach was gritty (not washed properly). The table beside us were told the juice they ordered was out of stock, they ordered another with the same outcome. Looked like there was only one person in the kitchen, which is ridiculous over a weekend during the holidays. Would not return or recommend.

One of the worst meals I've had. The chicken pie was completely bland to the point of being inedible - zero salt, same goes for the chips. Took an unreasonably long time for coffees and tea to arrive. We noticed the place was quiet, there was obviosuly a reason for it. Won't be back.

They were VERY busy on the Sunday morning that we went. The staff were run off their feet but were lovely. The coffee was beautiful and the food was delicious! If you have to wait a bit because it’s busy, know that it will be worth it!! (Sorry we ate before we took photos, it looked too good and it was!)

Food is very well priced and incredibly tasty, but a little slow to come out. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would happily go again.

Had the breakfast brushetta, was pretty disappointing, way too much spinach under all the other ingredients and just a heap of cherry tomatoes, With a tiny bit of brushetta and 2 poached eggs, meal was totally out of balance in flavours and a bit amateurish , over priced for $19.50 have had much better for less or similar cost and pretty slow as we were the only ones there when we ordered the meal. Staff were ok and the place was presented nice enough.

First few times the food was great - the pulled lamb burger and the pulled pork burgers were delicious. On my last visit there I tried the fish burger on the burger night that they hold every so often. The burger consisted of a few fish fingers on a bun, the chips (which are normally top quality) were below standard and the food took a long time to arrive at the table. Since the cook / chef changed the food quality has gone down!!!!

Favourite cafe in Melbourne. I always feel welcomed here for their nice and warm service. Very good coffee and best best best brownie. I haven't actually had anything else apart from brownies hahaha they are so good. Would love to try some scones. My partner had a salad bowl last Thursday it was pretty good too. Probs we are usually the one of the first customers so never have to wait too long for our food ^o^
