Quaint publet selling craft beer. Seats outside and on deck outside, some seats inside. Byo food. Not a great deal of heating, so will need to rug up on cool winter's night. However, on a warm summer night it would be fine and very busy. On the night we visited, it was busy, due to a brother and sister duo called Grace-well making their debut. The bar service was very friendly, helpful and fast. I must compliment them on that. (Suggestion: maybe a small menu from either a local fish and chips or pizza shop would boost both businesses). It was a good night's entertainment at a small publet. If the entertainment is as good as it was on the night we visited, then I would thoroughly recommend you check publet out.

Excellent little micropub. It have a very comfortable/cosy atmosphere. These people know what they are doing. Excellent range of craft beer and gin. Food is via local take away shops. The venue is all single level yet it is situated within a confined space so it is not very disability friendly. The staff are super friendly the music totally relaxing and the choice of seating should suit all types. There are tables outside on the street with heaters and awnings for those with pets or smokers. A must visit when in the area and especially after a walk up the 1000 steps/ Lyrebird track.

Fantastic little brewery. We arrived on a very busy night with no booking and Steph went above and beyond to make a table for us. There is large range of drinks available and you can bring in food from any restaurant, this place is amazing, highly recommended

Craft beer joint with only a few beers on tap, but a huge selection of bottles and cans in the fridge. Focus is definitely on the beers and you can bring in food from the nearby fish and chip shop if you're hungry.

Had a late afternoon visit and choice of tables. Very friendly and accommodating venue with fantastic selection of drinks. You ultimately get what you pay for with boutique and craft beers and spirits and the Fat Goat has a great selection and knowledgeable and helpful staff. Enjoyed the food, had cheese board and their chunky chips and liked the look of their menu. Will be going back.

Great local craft beer spot with lots of good options on tap. Nice outdoor seating, mostly stools inside. Use the QR code to order a tasty dinner from Upwey Pizza or Mexican from newly opened Shane on Main and it will be delivered to your table.

A great place to meet up and hang with mates. Great craft beer and gin menu!! Delicious cocktails and for those not so into booze they stock a great variety of the 0.00 options. I also love the goats support for Upwey Village eateries and local community groups.

Good rotation of beers on tap. There were heaters outside, and we were able to order some pizzas in from another local business. Was a good night, great spot.

Great spot in upwey for a cheeky bev. They were out of the wine we wanted however suggested another drop and it was so good we ended up buying two bottles to take with us. Nice for a winter spot too with lots of good heating outside

Great place to pull in and have a drink when the music's on. It's absolutely lovely drinks for a little bit pricey, but realistically most of them are locally sourced and high quality.

What makes a bar a good bar? In my humble opinion, you need unique, tasty drinks , friendly staff, and a good ambience. Fat Goat has all three. Really enjoyed my time here. Would definitely come again.
