We came here for lunch and had a wonderful time. We had a reservation, but came a little bit earlier than expected. Luckily, they were able to seat us right away. The food was great and tasty! Friendly staff and were fast with their service. I also recommend their beer paddle to get an inside taste of their lovely beer and then order a glass of your favorite! 🍻

Came for a quick lunch. The food was bloody amazing and the cider and beers were sooooooo bloody good. The wife for the apple crumble cider and we had to buy a slab of it. The small batch beers were on point too. If your driving past this place definitely stop because it is absolutely amazing. 10/10

Decent spot for a luncho. Brewery burger was good, chips super crispy, slightly too salty but goes well with some sauce. Burger was probably just a bit too small for its price, but flavours are all there. Bit hard to move around in the outdoor covered area with benches, if you're running with a big table.

Always love coming here when I’m in the area. All the food I have tried is simply awesome. The beers and ciders are cold and delicious. Staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the products. It’s a shame that 5 stars is the maximum. See you again shortly.

Oh man, I wished I lived in this spectacular part of Victoria just so I could call this my local. This place is great. Seats outside the front and back, inside near the bar, or in a slightly more sectioned room for that restaurant vibe. Heaps of beers and ciders on tap. I was driving, which was such a shame - I had a pint of their 'Nectaron IPA', which was outstanding. Fruity, hazy, hoppy, a bit malty. My partner had the apple crumble cider, which had this amazing cinnamon hit to it. Not too hungry yet, so we decided on the nachos to share, adding pulled pork ($6) and guacamole ($3) as sides. It was delicious, and the portion was perfect for us. However, the bottom half of the guac tasted like eating raw lime rind... We took two stools outside front and enjoyed our drinks, food, and each other's company as we watched the sun set over Coldstream. Looking forward to coming back (and with a designated driver!)

Very generous sized food and very tasty. The calamari is probably one of the best I’ve had in Melbourne. Also it’s dog friendly and have outdoor seating with shade, what more can you ask for.

Coldstream Brewery is a run of the mill brewery, not too far out from the city. Small (and kinda dark) seating space inside but plenty of outdoor seating for regular or function dining. I ordered the pale ale (4.5%) and my friends ordered the mojo cider (5%) which was a bit too sweet. Food servings were enough for four adults. The Japanese popcorn chicken was so burnt it was inedible. Tortilla for the tacos could’ve done with a few minutes on the grill to give it extra flavour. Pizza was loaded which was good after a few beers. Customer service was amazing and everyone was friendly and attentive.

COLDSTREAM BREWERY is honestly one of the best brewery experiences I’ve had. The fresh, crisp beer, the smiling happy faces of the staff, and the burgers, parmys, even coffee!!!! Just a 100%, gold-standard, 10/10, down-to-earth venue, which I cannot wait to return to. Thanks also for the epic beanie! We came here a few times for our 15th anniversary holiday, and everything was epic. YOU GUYS ROCK! Thank you so much

Are you tired of all the pretentious crowd talking about wine notes, tiny portions of super expensive food. Look no further, Coldstream Brewery is the place to be. Their $13 beer tasting paddle paired with an extra generous serving of tasty pub food will wipe away your frown. Service was great, price was right, serving size was big and didn't skim on the quality. Would definitely come back.

Customer service was terrible. We sat at a table with mo reserve sign on it. We were told rudely " You can't sit here and need to move". By the girl with the pink hair. We were told at the bar we would need to move but we had ordered drinks and were just waiting for them to be delivered. We were going to order food but after this treatment thought no we will eat at the venue ( Rochford Winery). Very disappointed after hearing good things about the brewery and it being our first time visiting.

Colostrum Brewery is great little Brewery just outside of Melbourne with multiple different delicious Beer options as well as Ciders, the food was pretty on point as well, there is a great atmosphere and obviously a lot of work put in to this place, staff are friendly and welcoming even though we came in on a Sunday without a table booking, I Highly Recommend stopping in if you are in the area, thanks guys. 🍻🍻🍻👍🏼

I recently visited Coldstream Brewery with a group of friends, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The main issue we encountered was the brewery's poor customer service. Firstly, upon arrival, we were greeted with indifference by the staff. It felt as if we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. The lack of attentiveness and friendly demeanor was disappointing, to say the least. Furthermore, once we were seated, the service continued to be subpar. Our server seemed disinterested ( Tall guy with weird hairstyle ) It was challenging to get their attention, and when we did, they appeared rushed and impatient. which made us feel like an afterthought. To make matters worse, when we asked for recommendations or information about the brewery's beers, the staff seemed uninformed and unenthusiastic about their own products. We expected them to be knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, but instead, we were met with blank stares and vague responses. Overall, our group left the brewery feeling disappointed and unappreciated. It's a shame because the ambiance and beer selection were quite good. However, the lackluster customer service overshadowed any positive aspects of our visit. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for the brewery. Improving customer service should be a top priority, as it directly impacts the overall experience and reputation of the establishment. I sincerely hope that future patrons receive better treatment than us.

We had a lovely evening at the brewery last night! The service was attentive, prompt and friendly! We were seated in a more quiet area of the restaurant as I requested, which was awesome. The food was amazing! It is something to celebrate when you get a steak as you ordered. Our medium to rare porterhouse was cooked to perfection and was tender and juicy! My thai inspired barramundi was such a creative dish on a bed of cauliflower rice. It was so tasty that I would describe it as a gastronomic melody on my taste buds! And all this cooked by the 20 year old Sous-chef! Kudos to you for the exemplary effort! You have a great career ahead of you! Thank you to Carly and the rest of the staff for a fabulous evening! We look forward to returning.

Food is generous sizing and delicious. Wait stuff were so attentive and full of personality which I love. Recommend booking as it gets very busy however staff will do their best to seat wherever is possible. We sat in the outdoor area but with the heaters on and the blinds down we were still warm.

Staff are so friendly and helpful! Was a bit disappointed to find that the tasting paddles for beers and ciders were pre-set and you couldn’t swap things out to try, even for an additional cost. Would have preferred to be able to mix and match beers and ciders that I was interested in.

Fantastic meal. Ordered dips and bread, garlic pizza, spicy calamari, and mini pork sliders for entree. All were delicious and were eaten with gusto. Mains came out hot and quickly. My rare porterhouse was the best one I’ve had in a very long time (with bourbon maple sauce.)The Parma was huge , the other steaks cooked perfect and truffle fries are god like. Dessert was ordered too. Death by chocolate, trio of sorbets and an affogato all of which were amazing and very moorish (though if I had of eaten any more I would have needed a nap at the table). Thankyou to the awesome Chefs for a really delicious dinner! The bar staff are friendly and lovely (Thankyou to Hayley for three of the BEST cocktails...I highly recommend the Fuzzy Leprechaun) and the wait staff (Thankyou to Bert and Ben) are just the loveliest people! And Thankyou to Jaime for her recommendations! You guys rock Do yourselves a favour and book with this establishment! You won’t be disappointed.

Best Nachos in a long time, gourmet Nachos even. Great 6 beer tastings, and the Pale was great, service and staff was amazing, well priced! Will be back.

Nice idea to have a smaller tasting paddle so you don't waste beer on ones you don't like. The pale ale is the best for me. The girlfriend liked the porter. Friendly bar staff

Took some friends who wanted to try some locally made beer after a lovely trip to the yarra valley wineries. Oh did we come across the most unfriendly and almost rude service? We sure did. A beer flight was plonked in front of us with no explanation of what each beer was. We had to work it out ourselves. The ciders were not too bad. Will I go there again? Not in a hurry.

Great food. Great drinks. Nice feel. We sat outside on a warm day which was lovely. Service was friendly and attentive. Perfect place to stop en route to Yarra Valley for a spot of lunch.

The atmosphere is out of this world in the best way imaginable. The staff are intelligent, helpful, gives great advice, knows the goods and have the most beautiful souls. The food is incredible and tasty. You can not find a better, more welcoming place.

Good menu and drinks. Loved the cider tasting paddle. We had a nice variety of food we shared. Very tasty and good quantities. Although it was a freezing cold day, so room was a bit chilly.

A few of us on the table ordered the calamari main serve. Delicious flavour, but way too small of a portion for the $31 price on the menu. Would at least expect the chips serve to be double the size of what we received. Doesn't help that some people on the table got the parkas that were huge in size for the exact same price. Understand calamari can be pricier than chicken and toppings, but then justify the high price with more chips/salad.

Great menu, lots of good options I wanted to try but alas I have to pick one....and went with the 500g Pork Ribs. Unfortunately it wasn't very impressive as it was dry and burnt on some bits. Good beer battered chips though, and the salad too. I ordered dessert with my mains but somehow they never entered it into their system and I had to leave, so didn't get to try their desserts. Expect to pay min $30 for a parma and min $22 for their pizzas...prices are a little steep. It says in their menu they don't split bills but you can still do it, just in a different way, by telling them the total amount you want to pay.

Delicious chips. Tasty beverages. I got the classic tasting paddle with 4 beers and 2 ciders. Which were all great. We manages to nab a seat at the side but if your set on visiting you should probably book. Weekends are busy with tour groups and other bookings. Will definitely be back for a proper feed and some more beers!

Hands down my new favourite place for lunch and dinner 🤤 amazing food, friendly staff and food always arrives fairly quickly after ordering. Great atmosphere and great cider. Food is a little expensive but it’s worth it. Huge parmas and some of the best chips around.

First time visit to Coldstream Brewery after going past it 100 times! Nice Sunday lunch, staff very welcoming and friendly, service attentive and quick, lots of beer / cider on tap / bottle as you would expect, daily specials, food is premium priced as you would expect out in the Yarra Valley, worth a visit and would go back

Staff is super friendly and helpful. We had fish and chips and it was lovely also. The batter and chips is on point! My friend had the tasting platter and she enjoyed it. I had the Rose cider and it was so good. Highly recommended.

Instagram: @ediblemelbourne You've seen their delicious beers sold everywhere; supermarkets, specialty liquor stores etc. But have you ever been to the brewery itself? Have you seen up-close the Shivering Man? A trip to the Yarra Valley is not complete until you make a short (or not so short) stop at the Coldstream Brewery. The brewery is located on Marroondah Highway, Coldstream, the gateway to the Yarra Valley so you'll definitely won't miss it. It took these guys many years to set it up, in what used to be a wool store. The Shivering Man, that takes pride in all their bottles, can be seen large and mighty at the roof of the brewery. In our quest for the best parma in Yarra Valley, we ended up here and, boy, were we happy. Exactly what you'd expect from a great parma, it is served with a delicious and juicy breaded chicken breast covered in tomato sauce and a blend of different cheeses. A side of beatifully golden fries could not be absent from a classic such as this. The pumpkin pizza, calamari and truffle fries are not to be missed here. Indeed, if you can, order two bowls of the fries - they are sooo good - especially with the amount of truffle cheese that they are served with. We cannot wait to return whenever we visit the Yarra Valley. Just remember to appoint a designated driver - you really want to try as much as beer as there is here. TIP: the mix of Pear and Apple Cider can only be found at the brewery itself so make sure you try that. It’s delish!

First time coming in today, we got a table straight away. Service was great very attentive. Drinks came out first which pleased the kids. Food not long after. Would definitely go back.

Awesome brewery, really enjoyed the limited run Stout they had on tap - wish I could get a keg of the stuff. Good food too. What really sets this place apart is the bar staff/waitresses, Liv was exceptional on our short visit. Lovely, helpful and simply happy. I'll gladly come back. Keep it up.

Great place but never have I felt so unwelcome upon arrival! Two of the female staff were clearly not happy to be there, although the other staff members were lovely. We were greeted by a mumble with no eye contact and ordered to go to the front and wait for a table, then received a disapproving glare when we answered no, we hadn’t booked … although there were only four other people there! We’d had a fantastic day at a local winery beforehand and this treatment put quite a dampener on things for a while, it was really very offensive and hard not to take it personally. Owners, please review your staff!!
