Went lunch time Sunday with 3 other friends- Good points: good parking and disability friendly & good mains overall. Reasonably priced drinks and very good coffee. Needs Improvement: Wooden chairs very uncomfortable and hard One entree didn't arrive at all Waitress attitude left a lot to be desired Stone cold pumpkin on salad Paid $6 extra for a salad (no chips) with burger: got a few limp lettuce leaves, I slice tomato & 2 cucumber no dressing Needless to say general consensus was we will not be returning.

I had a meal with my brother in the bistro on the 3/1/21 at 7.30pm, the meal took about 40 mins which is just ok. The chips were not hot but main disappointment was the coleslaw which was soggy and obviously old. I didn't complain at the time as was starving and just wanted to enjoy the night so rang and spoke to Linda the next morning, she asked me to put a complaint in through the web site which i did. To this day i have had no response. I wouldn't dine there again especially as during Covid the kitchen staff were eating while preparing and had no masks. They weren't rushed or stressed, just not caring. The wait and bar staff were great.

The food was amazing but got greeted at the door by a security guard asking for our Id. We had no problem showing it. We asked where we go and he has no clue what to say so we had to figure it out ourselves. but while ordering dinner 2 security guards were talking and looking at over us and this guy with black hair and tattoos walked over and asked to show him our id, even tho he had already shown it at the door. He looked us up and down then walked away. He then followed us to the bar and stared at us as we ordered soft drink. This place needs new bouncers.

Food is decent, with large portions. Bistro is more comfortable (sports bar side isn't properly air conditioned) but fills up, so reservations are recommended at least on Fri/Sat evenings. Nothing amazing, but reliable good pub food.

Great pub with a warm atmosphere. Great for a drink with friendly attentive staff at the helm. I had the pleasure of having the jambalaya, $33 was a little steep but produce (prawns, calamari sausage) was excellent. The rice was a little underdone for my taste but would order again in a heartbeat. Fellow patrons added to the pleasant ambiance.

Very nice “open plan” dining area. Our meals were great. Four different meals and four different “likes”. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a pleasant experience for our lunch. Only negative we could find , was that the wooden chairs in the dining area were a bit hard on the old derrière!!

Had dinner here and the food choice was good and the service was great except they could do with a bit more bar staff because they are serving the pokies addictics as well

I booked a table for 2 Thursday afternoon for Friday night, on arrival at the pub I was told there was no table reserved in my name. Was a little angry in that, a table was found for us in a draughty area, which also was disappointing But the meal was nice and the staff were friendly at times

Went for lunch on a Sunday. Was quite busy but meals didn't take long. Between our group we had lasagne, chicken parma and a pork burger. Everyone agreed it was delicious. Have been here a few times in the past and will definitely go again in the future.

Steak was good. Spaghetti was good. The salad had cabbage and no onion other than that everything was great. Not too badly priced. Great atmosphere and friendly staff

$30 is a lot for a plate that is mostly chips (which are either overcooked or cooked in old oil), and a little calamari, with a salad drenched in standard pub dressing. Definitely not worth that much. Disappointing. Only ate the calamari.

Arrived at this location with my father . Emily greeted both of us with a smile and showed us to a table. Dad, Tom who is predictable ordered the Roast. l ordered the Gnocchi Pesto. Both meals arrived hot and well presented(we both dived in and then l thought of the picture). l would recommend both to any other diner attending. We both enjoyed the meals and refreshments served . We will be back

This place was buzzing on a sunny Sunday arvo! Kitchen open all day, great beers and cider on tap. Sit up on the terrace and enjoy your meal and bevs with a view of the green diamond creek canopy bustling with cockatoos calling and leaves rustling. Live music too; where else do you have this at a nice distance from the big smoke these days??

We had the wake for our 10 day old son. They were happy to take our $5000 we put over the bar for food and alcohol but as soon as we moved to the bar downstairs they were quick to force us to leave. Completely ruined our memorial for our son.

Chargrilled beef brisket should conjure an expectation of Smokey and lush soft goodness of beef brisket. What we got was dry as beef jerky grade and the coleslaw that came was swimming in mayo… sad. Saving grace was the beer battered barramundi, which was fresh and the batter was light and crispy.

Shocking meal of chicken schnitzel. Salad limp and lettuce dirty. Asked if the schnitzel was 'real chicken' and assured it definitely was. Not the processed heart shaped one, I was told. Well it was the processed one. Barely edible. Won't go back. Best thing was the Coke I drank.

Food was good, service lovely but the bistro area was very noisy with barefoot kids running around screaming and running into people. I imagine that this is what having dinner at McDonald's feels like. If we come back again we won't be looking at sitting in the bistro area. Not a pleasant experience unfortunately.

We had a fabulous family birthday dinner Saturday night. I had the best ever Beef cheek ragu. My husband had the barra and commented how good that was too. All the meals were delicious! Highly recommend this place. We can't wait to go back.. although it was incredibly busy

We love coming here with family and friends. The food is really good quality and portion sizes are very large. It's a little expensive but good for a treat. Plenty of friendly staff. When it's very busy you may wait quite some time but it's to be expected, it's also very loud when peak times; if you have a loved one with sensory/auditory issues I wouldn't recommend coming here due to the sound, lighting and colours as it can be overwhelming. Wheelchair accessible, but notify staff if you've got a wheelchair as it's easier for them to seat wheelchairs to front of bistro so you don't have to weave in/out of the other tables.

We ate ate the Diamond Creek Hotel for the first time last night after having lived in the area of 18 years. I wish we had have tried it sooner as we were thoroughly impressed with the friendly service and the quality of food. Our order came out quickly and everyone in our group was happy with their meals. My steak was cooked to perfection. The playroom is great for kids. We will be back!

I will start with atmosphere . Its got it ! The building is superbly renovated and extended. You can see the old tiled roof poking up through the modern exterior . Reminds me of home . Service was perfect .they work hard. I turned up at 340 pm. Ordered at the bar sat down at the bistro and i think it was 15 minutes and my Angus burger (less the bacon as ordered),chips ,a side of chips and big mug of cappachino arrived at my table. I tried a couple of chips that were as good as any ive had. Then i bit into the burger that was so good it made the chips pale in comparison. I ordered too much and had to leave a few chips behind . Im a truck driver that loves food . That was the best burger ive had and my son and i returned the next day and i got the brisket burger. Very busy for a reason

Thought we'd go somewhere nice 😭... Roast of the day was supposed to be a roast pork but they gave me a very dirty and grey cut of meat which was old and Grisely from off a roast beef with mouldy potatoes. you need to lift your standards as they have slipped and I will never be returning again. ! I wouldn't recommend them to your dog!!!

DIAMOND CREEK HOTEL Kale salad with beetroot sauce was absolutely HORRIBLE and I love my salads. Couldn't eat it at all, just pinched a few chips from my daughter's plate. Probably the worst said I've ever tasted. No joke. Just keeping it real don't mean to be rude.

Dropped in on Sunday night after a drive and was met by a friendly staff member who found us a good table. Ordered our meals and it was all good with helpful staff at the counter. The food came out in pretty good time for a fairly busy night. The food was well priced and a good serving size, it tasted really good too. With all that going for it the staff friendliness and their engagement in not just us but all their customers was exceptional. Overall it was a great experience for a last minute Sunday night pub meal I'd recommend it and we'll be back.

So disappointed. We went to this venue to celebrate the life of a ten day old baby. An actual quote from a staff member, in front of the grieving parents: "I don't care." Obviously, he did. not. care. I am so shocked that a human being could be so heartless. Nothing anybody said could have made today any easier, but this man's words made it harder. I hope he feels remorseful when he realises how incredibly insensitive his words were.

We all had the seniors fish, chips and salad and I had the pavlova, all big serves and very nice to eat, good value for the money. I have had other seniors fish and chip meals for the same price but not as big servings.

Great staff and atmosphere shame never really any drinks deals. Carlton draught bit privy for instance. Food is better in the bistro, then in the bar area. Rooftop deck is a great spot when it's sunny 🌞

Didn’t like having to go to counter to order food and then elsewhere to order drinks. And then have to go a get condiments. Not organized properly. Food was small portions for the price. Felt like a cafeteria atmosphere.

This pub has been a staple of the diamond creek area for years until recently when they started loud music that can be heard from all over the diamond creek area until 12pm Fridays and Saturday nights. Multiple complaints have been made to the establishment but nothing has been done. When rocks come flying through the windows at 3am don't be surprised.. discusting act from a local venue and I urge all to boycott the place ..

The vegan parma was good. But they are very strict with taking drinks upstairs which wasn't very accomodating. Perhaps having signage up saying this rather than a bouncer sternly stopping you would be nicer.

Went there last night with my wife, stepdaughter and father-in-law. We found the prices were absolutely great for the meal size. I had battered fish and vegetables for $25. My father-in-law and stepdaughter had Had 500 g steak for $30. My wife had roast pork that was $25. They were really big portions, the only thing my stepdaughter had to critique them on. Was the mash potato was not to her liking. Overall the staff were absolutely great and friendly service we could not really fault. We hope it stays this way when all the restrictions for the COVID-19 pandemic are lifted.

Very good service. Entrance is easily accessed via ramp and electronic doors which was great for a guest who used a wheelchair. Coffee and tea were perfect, hot and arrived quickly. Soup and entree were delicious. Farmhouse chicken looked nice but lacked flavour and vegetables were bland as though sitting in bainmarie which tends to impart a watery taste. Good pricing. Dining room spacious and cool on a very hot day. We were able to relax comfortably away from pokies noise and could hear ourselves speak. We'd visit again.
