We wondered if we were on a candid camera show. 15 minutes after we ordered one of the wait staff asked the other if she had put our order through to the kitchen yet. She hadn't. They discussed the issue for some time at the bar, as the waitress couldn't remember our order or where she'd written it, and eventually came over to re take the order. We were one of 2 tables seated for dinner. Food took so long to arrive I thought she must've forgotten about it again. Pulled pork burger was so heavy on the sickly sweet BBQ sauce I could only manage to eat half. Chips were good. Can't imagine this place surviving.

My favourite place for buffalo wings and the burgers oh gosh I can't describe it but it's sooo good. I keep on coming back just for the wings🤩🤩🤩🤩 The sauce is soooo addictive I can just drink it 🤣🤣 I wonder if I can ask for extra sauce next time. I think i will try the milkshake next time as it goes well with burgers and also the wings 😜 Will come back for more as I can't get enough of those wings 😳

Unfortunately our experience at this restaurant was disappointing and short lived. We had eaten here before over a year ago when it was under the previous ownership and it was fantastic. So we were really excited to book again. Four of us arrived for our dinner reservation at 7pm on a Saturday night and we were the only people in the restaurant. There was no music, zero ambiance and it was so cold inside we had to keep our coats on. After 15 minutes we had only been given water. Eventually we were brought a basket of complimentary bread - which consisted of four tiny pieces of focaccia that were so old, stale and chewy. Needless to say I immediately regretted eating it. After roughly 30 minutes nobody had bothered to offer us any drinks, nor had anyone come to take our food order, which really confused us considering we were the ONLY people in the restaurant. I can’t think of what else the three staff members would have been doing, as there were no other customers to serve. After 40 minutes we decided to leave and eat elsewhere, as by this point we were annoyed, hungry, and astounded by the lack of service in this establishment. I feel really bad saying all this, but something needs to drastically change in this place if they want customers to have a positive experience. It’s such a cool local venue with so much potential and I sincerely hope it does improve. But unfortunately I’ve never encountered such poor service before and I won’t be going back, nor can I recommend it to anyone else.

FT Local Kitchen and Bar is the new hot spot. Go and try this place with your family and friends. We recently visited this place and I must say food and services are as good as the place’s vibe is. The head chef was quick to cater to our requirements whereas the owner and service team insured that we feel special on our important day. Love ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️ for this place.

First time trying this place, second day after lockdown ended. Had high expectations after seeing the menus online. 100% they lived up to it. Had the BBQ platter for two and everything on the plate was sensational. Spot on portion size too. Great selection of tap beers, recommend getting the tasting paddle to start. Great atmosphere, quick service and friendly staff. Will happily be back again.

Service here is fantastic. The man that served us was awesome! Good selection of local Sprocket Brewery from Boronia on Tap. The Parmas were great. Nice flavour and juicy chicken. The only downside to our meal was the sauteed veggies were super bland, watery and had no flavour. The corn on the cob was way too charred and tasted burnt and ashy. The Corn was also definitely microwaved. Overall nice dinner. We would be back

I'd like to start off by saying the waitresses were all very nice and polite and made us feel welcome. Unfortunately customer service is only a small aspect of dining out. The food was well below average. The schnitzels, Burgers and wings were all very dry along with our order being incorrect. It's a shame as the staff were all very nice and were trying there best. The kitchen would seem to be the issue here. So if you are looking for a good feed. Stay away. Love Jason 😊

Relaxing vibes amazing aesthetic set in the cutest location. Great menu and friendly service, bar staff recommended a brew and cocktail that did not disappoint. Definitely recommend for afternoon drinks or dinners with friends

We got the family feast delivered for Father's Day. They must have had a busy night but it was delivered earlier than the expected time. Everything was delicious, our favourite was the brisket! Even the kids burgers were great (I had to steal a few bites)!!

Went to FT’s for lunch on Sunday and was very satisfied by the experience. The menu options are well designed (good range of options for platters or meals and different combinations of sides), good kids and vegan selection, the food and sides tasted great, good range of beers on tap and on the menu, friendly service, really good environment. I’d happily go there again for a meal.

4 of us dined there for the first & LAST time last night! We thought we’d stop in for a quick bite, rookie mistake. It was 7.45pm on a Wednesday night. The place was empty, (1st red flag!) with only one guy enjoying a beer out the front. After ordering, we waited 20 minutes for our drinks. The beer & coke was fine, but the milkshake seemed to be room temperature with a dollop of ice-cream just floating on the top. Apparently 20 minutes wasn’t enough time to mix it properly. (2nd red flag!) We had also ordered 3 of the Wed night Parma specials, a nachos & a chilli con carne. 45 mins in, we were wondering what the hold up was. There was nobody in the front to ask & we considered leaving. (We should have).. we joked that we could’ve shopped for the ingredients, driven home & cooked the meals ourselves, in the time we’d spent waiting. We’d come this far, so we stayed. Approximately 1 hour later our meals arrived. Well, most of them. The Chile con carne never did. The waitress apologised for the wait, offering no explanation. The parma’s were average, although we didn’t have high expectations at this point. The gravy was nice, but the serves would’ve been lucky to be 20mls…. Unfortunately the nachos were tasteless. The hottest & best part of the meals were the delicious chips, but it ends there. We went to pay & they tried to charge us for the chilli con carne that never came. The waitress even went to double check with the kitchen, as if she didn’t believe us. It wasn’t until I got home that I realised each shot of gravy was charged at $3.90, even though parmas come with a choice of two sides.. and we’d ordered 2 of the parmas with just chips & gravy?! We left dissatisfied & hungry as we didn’t finish our meals. Totally confused as to what the staff were actually doing out the back. Seems there’s a complete lack of management. It’s a shame, because the restaurant looks really nice. I never normally write reviews, but I don’t want anyone else to waste their time & money.

Great vibes going on and tasty food. Didn't drink but the selection of beers is great if you like crafties. Will be back!

Pretty good burgers. In a nice quiet area that is accessed by a scenic drive. Burgers are cooked medium rare and you must specify if you want them cooked more.

Went on a dinner date with my partner and really loved the place. It was a great experience and just cannot thank Ashish and his team enough for the way they provided such a wonderful service. The food was great and my partner was really happy that I took her to this place for our date. Thanks team FT, we will see you again!!!

Went there for the first time on Sunday for Mothers Day and had a lovely experience. Staff was friendly and attentive, the food was really tasty, good portions and well priced. They also gave Mum a bottle of wine which was so sweet. Will definitely go again.

Good cocktail choices and prices, meal prices were great also. The staff were attentative and the atmosphere was vibrant great for a birthday meal. For 3 people 3 meals and side dishes and 2 entrees as well and 3 cocktails and a beer and a sparkling water I thought this was an excellent price.

Grabbed a few drinks during lunch hr and the service was lovely, professional, respectful and chilled back. I would recommend them, I didn't get to eat but will do next time.

The atmosphere is relaxing with elegant decor and options of outdoor, beer garden and traditional seating. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the food was exceptional. I would highly recommend you try for yourself. Ask for SJ, Karla or Erica.

I had the Pulled Mushroom with 2 sides for lunch, my friend had the Vegan parma so much flavour, great atmosphere and customer service was very pleasant.

Well, this place has changed since our last visit. Large beer garden, live music, amazing padre coffee. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Great selection of craft and local beers.

This was poor service missing things on burgers. Gluten free bun is rock solid and freezing cold. Website says that burgers come with chips and didn't get any and when we called them back to tell them that stuff was wrong and they told us that there was another menu stating that chips don't come with take away meals. Then they called us back saying that the burgers where quality, I disagree.

Such great burgers! All fresh ingredients, soft buns, and the most crunchy yet fluffy chips I have eaten! The brisket on the burger is beyond belief I can only imagine how good the meat platter dishes would be 🤤 Also able to cater for food intolerances with lettuce leafuce leaf buns!? (take note grill'd) Highly recommend this epic local

Phenomenal burgers, hot crispy chips, milkshakes for days, and the best selection of gin around. It doesn't hurt that they have amazing service also. Wonderful staff always wanting to help.

Large menu with lots of unique choices. Both the peri peri chicken and Arabic Platter were good. Quiet venue we were the only ones there at 3pm on a Sunday.

This is our new go to restaurant with the kids. The burgers are amazing - generous serves and super filling. I think l'm addicted to the vegan cheese burger. Really easy to book and service always pretty quick.

We went out for dinner as a family there was 6 of us so we got 3 bbq platters for 2.. at $85 each platter.. it was a very pour amount of food on all 3 of our platters. It was not filling. The meat was okay but definitely not what we were expecting for that amount of money. We got a drink each and paid over $300 for all of it. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Definitely don’t recommend the bbq platter for 2.

Excellent place for food, service and atmosphere. Love the colour scheme. The food is awesome. We went as a group and service was great. And didn't have to wait long for food to arrive. The outdoor area looked inviting and I am imagining going there for Summer already..

Brought here by a great food loving friend on his birthday. This place has his favourite American Buffalo Wings. The buffalo wings here gives the extra kick. Have had buffalo wings in many places. Best one so far in Melbourne, Victoria. I'd say Australia too, but haven't been everywhere yet.

Such a fantastic experience here at the Local Kitchen and Bar-the food was sensational! I had the butterfly prawns, all I have to say is 10/10! Great music, a great vibe and super friendly staff! Definitely recommend it!

The Pulled barbecue beef burger was absolutely amazing and the outside dining area is absolutely beautiful with all sorts of colour ,nice music and fairy lights and they are all very accommodating and the waiter in very kind

The food there is scrumptious. You'll enjoy a lavish meal at one of the best places where you'll see how warm their hospitality is. There's a great vibe here. The ambience is exemplary. Would love to visit this place more often.

Unfortunately our experience tonight was extremely ordinary. The meal we wanted to order was not available, after we ordered it, drinks took half an hour to arrive. The incorrect meals turned up when they finally arrived. One meal didn’t turn up at all. I would not recommend this at.

I ordered at 6:30, my email confirmation said 30 mins until it was ready and I paid for delivery. At 7:30 I called, when they answered the phone and I asked what was going on he said he’ll check for me, but didn’t ask for my order name or number and hung up. When I called again, someone else picked up and when I mentioned I was just hung up on she laughed. She told me it would be 15 mins and I confirmed it would be delivered. At 8:00 I called again and she said it’s almost ready, I can come and pick it up now. When I reminded her I paid for delivery she said she had to talk to the chef and she’d get back to me because she didn’t know it was for delivery. I had to call for a fourth time at 8:20 after waiting for her to call me like she said she would and she said it’s ready and they’re waiting for the Uber to pick it up. It’s now 8:30 when we finally get our food and it’s not great, mediocre at best. Only upside being that they gave us 2 free cans of Fanta We went here months ago before they closed briefly and it was amazing, couldn’t fault it. Now that they have reopened, I never want to return.
