I always heard of acai but didn't understand the hype. I recently started eating healthy and thought it would be a good healthy treat to have. Omg do I understand the hype now. Since buying it I'm addicted, I get the salted caramel acai bowl and it is my 10 minutes of heaven. The place is always packed on weekends and it's so nice to order then walk over to the oval across the road and eat it whilst letting my dog run around. It's brought a little normality back in the craziness of COVID and is seriously delicious.

Lovely discovery today of Açaí Brothers Croydon! As a vegan I had a delicious toasted sandwich with vegan mayo, spinach, vegan cheese & avocado. Absolutely delicious! I paired that with a tropical smoothie and even though I don’t like ginger (it had ginger in it) it was also delicious! Staff were lovely & friendly. Cafe was neat, tidy & clean. A++++

the location is beautiful and the inside has a wonderful ambiance, the acai bowl itself is okay and tastes really healthy however the one big drawback is that it is overpriced and not just the bowls but every item in the menu is more expensive. Reasonable? maybe, but convenient? not so much

If you want the most amazing Acai bowls, I highly recommend Acai Brothers. The Acai bowls are amazing with plenty of vegan options! The vegan deserts were amazing too 10/10

At first I was "wow, that's expensive for a small bowl of food", then I was like "here, take my money". Vegan and raw options galore. Also... amazing avo on toast with hemp seeds (finally legal in Australia).

I’m so obsessed with açai bowls I am trying to limit myself to a monthly visit because if I had my way I would probably be visiting (for takeaway) every day and/or buying a franchise. The staff here are absolutely lovely and I applaud the ability to customise each bowl by choosing your three fruits (though I largely default to the same three of orange, strawberry and watermelon). Always delicious and perfect on a summery day like today Latest Back to perfection with a super frozen bowl of deliciousness. A bit hefty pricewise for a quick lunch on the go but the quality of high caliber ingredients renders it good value for $ and it’s so freaking yummy I frankly don’t really care Update I gave in and ordered lockdown takeaway despite what I considered to be a steep delivery fee of $8 given it is essentially a smoothie we are talking here. Imagine my disappointment when I realised they had no grapes available and didn’t call to see what I would like instead (just wrote it on the lid!). So my inclusion of three selected fruits became two. It shouldn’t be an option on the online order if it it out of stock Original review I don’t even know how four branches of Açai Bros popped up without me knowing. I was eating acai before it became the thing to do and a staple on the majority of Melbourne’s breakfast menus. I was delighted to discover not only the existence of said chain store but also the convenient location of my house being pretty much smack back between 2 of the Melbourne based stores (they are Australia wide, amen to that). I was fairly horrified to realise my takeaway bowl was $17.90 as you’d probably be hard pressed to cop that at an actual cafe but when it came out it became apparent it was loaded with toppings which somewhat justified the pricepoint. If anything I’d say the toppings were too excessive because the ratio to actual açai was disproportionate. This was probably more loaded because it was a speciality bowl so I’m keen to try their standard bowls (and more of the speciality because they all sound sensational)

I come here for an occasional treat and always order the 'Ain't Nuttin Butter' acai bowl. I say treat as they are high in calories (and price) despite being mainly fruit. Having said that, they are super delicious and filling, and I'm lucky to live very close to this establishment.

Early morning Acai bowl with delicious bananas, strawberries and peanut butter. Very tasty and very filling. Worth the price as it’s good value. Good service with friendly staff. I would recommend.

Açai brothers was a bit of a disappointment but I think that’s mainly just because of the price. The toppings were fantastic and fresh and the service wasn’t bad but was missing a bit of gusto. The açai which is meant to be the main bit was bitter and just didn’t seem right Unless if you have expendable income I would recommend but it’s still worth a try atlesst once Fantastically awesome for instagram photos though

So I know I should have got a bowl... buy the toasties looked to enticing and I am glad of my choice. The Mexicana toasting was not only absolutely delicious but also a generous size considering the reasonable price point as well Shop is nice as well, seating inside or outside and easy parking everywhere. Highly recommend!

We recently stopped in the Croydon shop for lunch. We opted for an acai bowl and a Mexicana toasty and also decided to grab two Besto Pesto toasties for later. Absolutely delicious and the service was first class. Very highly recommended.

I love açai brothers however I purchased an açai yesterday with my daughter and we both noticed it was significantly smaller than usual. Still delicious but disappointing for the price.

Ridiculous coffee. I have always said i judge a barista on a long black. And boy, they delivered. Large menus that focuses on health and alternative options to meat. Definitely somthing to cater for any palet. Smoothy bowls to toasted sandwichs. Check it out and support the local business.

This was my first smoothie experience at acai brothers! And it literally made my day holy moly! I had the berry delight or something, and I couldn't get enough of it! I had it in my own reusable cup for takeaway too which staff were happy to do! Staff were lovely, and the space inside was nice, there was lovely sunny bench seats, the price was great for the quality as well, ill definitely be back!

I purchased a regular specialty açai yesterday. These are smaller than usual. I used to have to put my açai into a large bowl to mix it all up so it didn’t spill it. This is no longer a problem. The topping and fruit used to fill the lid. Too expensive to not be full.

I wasted an hour of my life and $15 for this mush… Honestly, their food is awesome! Their time management is very poor though. They often will have wait times of 30minutes to an hour. This gem was from an online order placed 15 minutes before I arrived in store. After I spoke to the girl at the register and she said it will be ready shortly and they will bring it out to me. 45 minutes later (after watching a stream of customers be told it will be a 40-50 minute wait) I went back up to find out that they had finished my order ages ago and it had been sitting in their freezer (which doesn’t stop it from melting). I should’ve asked for a refund, but I didn’t really want to wait any longer so whatever. This isn’t the first time and I probably will still go back again for some more mush, but honestly, do yourself a favour and go find a local café and give them the business instead. Or if you insist, only grab something from here if it is early morning and quiet.
