Very busy place but the food was yum. It was fresh and quick to the table. There are different seating times, we did the 5.45pm-7.30pm. It's all you can eat, you just order and it's brought to the table. Staff were lovely. We would go back, very nice.

Great Japanese ala carte buffet. Not sure if you can find it anywhere else. I meant other than Okami - they have a couple of branches in Victoria. Enough varieties for anyone whom love Japanese cuisine. From tempura to kakiage to yakiniku. Seaweed salad to edamame to garlic stored fry vegetables. Salmon sashimi and sushi and goyza and Takoyaki. Would be great if we could just order sashimi as we didn’t really want rice. Oh don’t forget the desserts - green tea / black sesame ice cream and taiyaki (hot dessert with green tea paste in a crispy pastry) Drinks are extra. But if you are happy with just water, no need to order drinks. A Japanese hot tea is always nice with Japanese food. Definitely worth to come if your intake of calories is ok.

Very nice all you can eat restaurant, you dont even have to stand several times to taste everything . Very delicious food and very friendly staff. Lots of tables and parking as well. Perdect for all occasions.

Excellent restaurant. Food quality is super and service is good, all staffs remain busy during the dinner time. Manages a lot of guests by a few people at work. Environment is cool and cozy but a bit noisy due to overcrowded and very close placement of the tables. Ample parking in-front.

As per usual with an Okami restaurant, the food was great. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food comes out really quickly after you order. Sometimes a dish gets forgotten but it's an all you can eat so you just order more. Love this place so much and can't wait to go back.

I would recommend booking at least a day prior, we booked and it was extremely busy, some walk ins got turned away unfortunately as the food is great, servings for two are perfect and the staff are super quick and very nice. The all you can eat is perfect if you enjoy a taste of everything!

We celebrated my birthday with a group of friends. All of us left happy. Food was amazing and tasted fresh. Cocktails and beverages were to die for. Service was very friendly, quick and polite. Will be coming back for more. 5 ⭐️ all around 🤩

It’s an AYCE which focuses on Japanese food, located near Narre Warren Station. There is a 2 hour limit, and you can come up to 15 minutes after your reservation time. The interior is spacious and the tables were broad. It feels casual inside, so you can relax while you eat. The food is prepared and served quickly, and the waiters are accomodating, so I ate until I was full and enjoyed it.

Tried this place on a whim and glad that we did, Sunday Lunch (12:45pm booking) for 3. It wasn’t overly busy which was perfect, staff are friendly and service was excellent. Food is delicious, would highly recommend for all.

a full service japanese all you can eat! their is something for everyone on the menu! dont forget to save room for their ice cream and taiyaki (fish shaped baked cake) i recommend being prepared and order a decent amount of dishes in the one go as service can be slow at times and you might be waiting for the next dish this place is VERY busy so booking is essential! (its probably also why service can be a tad slow due to the super lively and demanding atmosphere) great for large groups or even just for you and ur plus one 😜

Amazing staff and food. Eat your fill and leave the place happy. It was great. I highly recommend the Takoyaki, Chicken Karaage, Fried Rice, Miso Steak, Teriyaki Steak and Teriyaki Chicken. The rest were great also.

I believe my 6th time visiting Okamis, and it's still an amazing place to go to. Hard to believe they make a profit off of the low price of 40 dollars a person for their buffet menu. Amazing food as well. After having just come back from Japan for a 3 week tour, the food quality and traditional ingredients hold up.

Rude restaurant manager. Forces a pregnant lady to eat that was smelling., claiming that I was wasting food or they will charge me extra. I have been to these place several times before, never have i had this experience until today. I even asked him, the 2 items I couldn’t finish, how many times i ordered them? He confirmed only 1 time. He was lecturing me that if i am not sure about the taste i should order small portions. However, he couldn’t justify as no where in the menu it was written as such. From personal experiences,usually those items are tasty, today it was smelly. His tone to me was insulting infront of other patrons . This dinner was supposed to be my little getaway before i give birth next week. This rude manager ruined it all. We left without having our dessert but paid in full. While leaving I asked for an email to complain and his name. He was coward enough and denied to provide me with those information. I will be lodging a formal complaint with consumer affairs as couldn’t address the issue with the restaurant authority. I am mentally attacked and insulted infront of others. He didn’t even bother to apologise. Instead his last sentence to me was “anyways you are going to complain and I don’t care”.

First time visiting one the Okami restaurants. I read a few reviews before hand and made a booking for five for a Saturday dinner reservation. After showing a screenshot of our booking, we were shown to our table. For a group of five, it was close quarters and the restaurant was very busy. There are two dinner sittings for all you can eat, we booked for the second sitting which starts at 7:30pm. All of the information including, pricing, menu etc. is on their website. The way the all you can eat works is by providing each plate portioned to the number of guests. You can order each plate as many times as you want. I would recommend the sushi platters, mushroom salad amongst others. Too many to mention 😊 I recommend placing orders for the dishes other than those which have rice and noodles as this will fill you up fast. We also ordered sake severed warm. 👌 I recommend for Japanese food/Asian food lovers. Since there is a mix of other items like steak, chicken and beef, I think there is something for everyone. Only one of our party of five avoided eating sushi as it is not something they like. But there is a good variety. Save space for the ice cream and the fish shaped cake. Very tasty!

A polite and quick service with quality Japanese food. We ordered all you can eat menu and absolutely worth the money spent. Teriyaki steak was our favourite.

I had all-you-can-eat B'day dinner party in August 2022. Although the restaurant was busy, the service was courteous and prompt. The food was delicious and in good presentation. Friendly Caleb went extra miles to meet customer's need. Really appreciated for the whole team and wish the business continuously successful! Strongly recommend!! 👍👍👍

Highly recommend Okami. Staff were very accommodating, friendly and polite. Very efficient with food service and clearing of empty plates. We tried many different dishes and they were all full of flavour. Sampled some dishes that we'd never tried before as well as some favourites and loved ALL of them! Fair prices. Nice atmosphere. We'll definitely return for more!

Really fresh and tasty food! Staff are wonderful and friendly and are always coming around to the tables making sure everyone is satisfied with the food quality and checking if they want to order anything else! Such a enjoyable dinner!

We made a booking here two weeks in advance for my dad’s birthday and then again a couple days before the booked date to add another person to our table but when we came to the restaurant they apparently “couldn’t find the booking” and when we explained that we booked very clearly weeks before but they kept saying they couldn’t find it and wouldn’t ask our questions. We ended up having to go somewhere else to celebrate my dads birthday somewhere else last minute. He was really looking forward to it and was extremely disappointed and so was everyone else.

The food was amazing as always, however I tried to order a takeaway order for a family member who couldn't join us, the server told me there will be someone come back to take the order. 15 minutes went by and noone came by, so I ordered the takeaway as I paid for my dining. They told me there would be a 20 minute wait for the food, but ended up being 35 minutes. With a fussing 4 year old the extensive wait time was frustrating to say the least.

Took my family here after having a great experience with my first view. They all loved it! My dad has visited Japan and loves finding places to eat in Australia that serves Japanese dishes. Everyone enjoyed the food and it was very well catered to any dietary requirements we had (including gluten free, dairy, egg and peanut free) they made sure to inform us of any dishes being ordered that were not gluten friendly/free or unfit for any dietary requirements so that we were 100% aware of all the food ingredients. I got some great pictures of the food too!

Went 3 weeks ago and was served barely cooked chicken…. I put it down to a mistake Went this evening for a 5:30pm sitting and this time the chicken I was served was actually RAW! See picture. Absolutely disgusting, disgraceful and who knows how many people are getting salmonella poising from this place. And please Okami, I dare you to tell me this is cooked even a little bit?

Fantastic value for money. Really good food and friendly staff. Wait times were a little long and there were a couple of small errors in our order but this might have been a result of just how exceptionally busy they were during our visit. Would recommend.
