I went 1 week ago with my husband and some friends. We ordered the banquet. The portions were super small and did not include more food even though we were 4 people. In addition, the waiters did not know which dishes were gluten free and the service was not good. I would recommend going to other places in Chapel St that have better banquets, including dessert, larger portions and better price.

Enjoyed a delicious birthday dinner for my sister here. Newly opened Rebel Blue showcases a modern spin on traditional Greek favourites. We indulged in a number of dishes between the 6 of us. While the food was beautiful, I wouldn't go here if you're looking for a big feed. The chicken, lamb and prawn skewers were delicious. My personal favourite was the eggplant with slow roasted lamb shoulder - I just wish there was more of it! Serving sizes are pretty light on which took away from that authentic Greek feel a little. Having said that, staff and service were top notch. Ambience was good but quite loud and rattly inside, not a major issue though. Would definitely recommend a visit overall!

A nice addition to the already hard to top Greek restaurant scene in Melbourne. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and work hard to ensure you order the best things on the menu within you appetite.

First time visiting this restaurant and loved the clean and lean food. The chicken and calamari skewers were small but tasty and good quality and the cocktails were spot on. Especially nice sitting outside on a warm night. The only issue was they kept getting out order wrong, one meal cam out after we were all done. Strange. They gave us some free drinks so made up for the ordering issues. I would definitely try again.

We absolutely adored Rebel Blue. Wonderful to have modern and delicious Greek food served with a lovely energy from service staff. Cool ambiance and a cocktail list to die for. Can’t wait to get back there. Great for couples or groups of up to 6.

nice interior but food was overpriced, chips came out cold, portions are quite small, took a long time for food to come out, overall not worth it better off going to a different restaurant on chapel or oakleigh for proper greek food

Rebel Blue Pros: 👧Staff were attentive, young, friendly. 🗺 Great location, lots of bars nearby for after drinks. However there is also a beautiful bar inside the restaurant. 🥘 The food speaks for itself; fresh, clean, flavoursome. 🍗 The bbq chicken skewers are amazing, cooked by an authentic Greek chef 🍅 The stuffed tomato’s were my favourite, juicy & full of flavour. 🥖The dips (although a little small) are delicious & made fresh. 💰Prices are reasonable, you are paying for quality. Had delicious food and the DJ was fabulous. Really good dancing music without the chaos of a club. Had a great time dancing (to work off the food).

Don’t think it’s worth the price. Came for souvlaki as it showed on the online menu, was removed from the menu when we arrived. I asked if they could make a souvlaki or an open souvlaki and they said no. Ended up having to buy fries, chicken, pita and tzatziki all individually which seems ridiculous when they were selling souvlaki through Uber eats.

Food was great, and the cheese options were nothing to get Saga-narky at.

My partner and I have enjoyed the handful of times we’ve eaten at Rebel Blue. The venue is beautiful and well designed. It’s a modern Greek take on traditional, and the saganaki (for what they are known) is fantastic. Very reasonably priced, sizeably portioned and well cooked. We even ate here on Valentine’s last year as a return visit and were very impressed that we weren’t stuck to an overpriced set menu and even enjoyed a complimentary drink on arrival. That’s how you do service and good food!

Absolutely amazing food. Group of 6 of us ordered the "let your inner rebel out - feed me" option on the menu for $49 per person, and it was one of the best feeds I've had in a long time. Really good variety of classic Greek dishes cooked to perfection. The waiters were extremely friendly and always had a smile, even though it was getting late into the night! Highly recommend.

The feed me option is to die for

The whole team in Rebel Blue offered the best service of any restaurant I have ever been in. My better half has dietary requirements and the staff informed on every part of the feed me dishes as they came out on whether it was able to be eaten or not. Rebel Blue even had a whole different set of food for her which was more than enough! They also allowed me to add on two extra seats at a busy time in their evening after I got the numbers wrong. The food was fantastic for everyone and more than enough! If anyone is reading this - go! The whole set up is amazing!!!
