Now this is a park worth making a trip to!. Visiting a park with all the amenities is always a great way to spend a relaxing day outdoors. One such park that comes to mind is this beautiful park, located a short drive from Boronia square. The park boasts lush gardens with an abundance of trees, which provide a perfect spot for picnics or just to sit and read a book. The serene lake, with its resident ducks and other waterfowl, adds to the park's tranquil ambiance. Visitors can also enjoy barbecuing with family and friends, as the park provides all the necessary facilities. The park's playground is a favorite spot for children who can run, climb, and slide to their heart's content. Parents can relax on the nearby benches and watch their little ones enjoy themselves. The park is also equipped with tables and toilets for the convenience of visitors. One of the most significant advantages of this park is that it remains unclosed, which means that visitors can enjoy its serene beauty and amenities at any time of the day or night. The park is a perfect place to take a break from the daily grind and enjoy some much-needed fresh air in beautiful surroundings.

Very well-maintained, lush and green area. Beautiful place to have a BBQ or take the kids out onto the playground. Lots of ducks around too — and even ducklings in the springtime! So lovely!

Gorgeous local pet friendly park. So many people out and about for walks, picnics and small events like Birthdays. So many nooks for the puppers to explore and the locals are amazingly friendly. Must visit if you're in the area

Great spot for a hot summer's day! Kids playground, public toilets, free admission and heaps of shaded areas for a picnic lunch. Lake was teaming with fish, turtles and swamp birds.

Absolutely Beautiful park! One of the best in the area. Plenty of ducks roaming around who frequently have babies which are super cute! Can go feed them anytime. The pond is lovely and serene and you can walk across it with the raised walkway/bridge. Plenty of spots to sit for a get together or to eat. Also at the back there is a fully enclosed children's playground complete with swings and flying fox. 4 accessible toilets in a block near the playground section too.

A great place for a picnic, walk and kid’s playground. It has a well maintained garden, amphitheatre, picnic BBQ undercover areas, lake and an interesting play space for kids to wander in. The local RSL has a memorial there too. Ample parking or in a local street area.

A very well planned, designed and equipped park! It has a pond in the middle with lots of ducks, a large interactive playground for kids and teens, and lots of sheltered bbq facilities for groups of people. We’ve come here a few times and always can’t wait to come again!

Enjoyed time here. Coffee carts ... hang out in the car park. The nearest coffee place didn't open til 11am. Great options for little and big kids. Plenty of parking the day we visited.

The arboretum is the best park that I have ever been to in my life and I am guessing that I won't go to a better place than the arboretum again a lot of work and effort has gone into making it and it's still a magical place even if you are a adult still 🌻🌼🌺🌷🌸🏵️💮🌿🌾🍄🪻🌲........

Tim Neville arboretum is an excellent place for a picnic, to take the kids to play in the large adventure playground, or simply wander around the walking paths admiring the garden beds and watching ducks in the small lake and surrounding pools. Public restrooms, covered areas and electric BBQs available.

Great park to spend with family. Although it may look dirty due to tall grass, but it still is a nice park to walk to and for jog as well.

Absolutely stunning and family friendly park. Great stop over if going to Mt Dandenong. There is a secret garden, bamboo garden, memorial garden, herb garden, large active kids play ground, table and bbq area and a lovely elevated walk through the duck filled lake.

We have been here a few times and it's so much fun. An enclosed playground with some slides (metal, so not great for hot days). Lots of stuff to climb on and a flying fox. Only gave 4 stars as it used to be much bigger before it was enclosed.

Beautiful parklands with ample bbq and picnic areas. It has a great walking tracking throughout that leads you through to the gated kid's playground. There is plenty of parking, but if extra busy, I recommend the footy club parking lot across the road on Francis Cres.

Always a great space to relax. Those brief smiles and quick chats with others you share the space with help you feel grounded and connected. If feel a bit down or alone this is a wonderful place to help as a lift in spirit. Sit under trees. Walk the dog. Read a book. Have a chat. Or just lie back on your blanket and watch the clouds roll by. The memorial sitting centre stage helps remind us what others have given so we can have the lives and freedom we all value so much. Stop and have a read of the plaques you go past and take a moment in your own way to say Thank You.

Great playground for the kids (castle themed) including slides and a flying fox. Beautiful parkland and gardens to walk around or ride bikes with family or friends. BBQ's, picnic tables, undercover areas, large grass areas and public toilets make it an ideal location for a picnic. Has a war memorial as well which is great for education and remembrance.

We have travelled further than you usually would, to access this park. So neat and well kept, and the playground is fully fenced off (good for running toddlers). Free parking. We spent NYE there picnicking. A beautiful space in the day or at dusk

This is a really lovely park for family get togethers - well maintained beautifully landscaped and has the necessary amenities of toilets, BBQ’s, picnic areas and car parking. Also easy to find, along Dorset Road, just south of the Boronia Junction Shopping Centre.

Very tranquil and peaceful place with shared space for wild life

Absolutely beautiful park, fantastic children's play area, bbq's, not many tables & chairs so if you have a crowd bring extra chairs, the gardens beautiful, walkways with wheelchair access, pond, fountain, secret garden, soo much to see! Only let down were the toilets, dirty, no seat on the toilets & no sanitary bins for women's needs, no where to dry your hands on a cold day after washing, there us a disabled toilet and change table.

Wow, Its parks like this community crave. Knox city council I believe go above and beyond,. I did a night walk with my torch. As an adult the flying fox put a giggle and smile back. Beautiful in memory plaques. And a time capture if I recall right- to be opened in 2038. P.s What an amazing door.

A lovely park, lots of different sections for you, your family and your dog's to enjoy. A nice walkway across the pond there which was filled with lots of ducks. Public toilets which were well maintained. Fenced in playground which looked like lots of fun for the kids. Some nice grassy areas to sit and enjoy nature, you'll also see some herbs growing in certain sections.
