We had lunch here today - good food and very welcoming service. We all sat in the sunshine in their rear courtyard- a very pleasant experience.

If you go to the Dandenong mountains for a ride or a hike or whatever, make sure you arto here fore a great Gluten Free feed! Very friendly experience, pleasant talk to the owner, relaxed atmosphere. The selection of GF choices is very vaste, i opted for a burger. They said they could do it with toast bread, showing that they care and are happy to make YOU happy. We come here at least once or twice a week. It is local to us and we are always welcomed by the warm and friendly owners. Their granola bowls are delicious! My daughter always enjoys their muffins and my husband loves their egg and bacon panini. Their coffee is always great and they make a mean chai latte too! Never had a bad experience. They will always be our go to for yummy breakfast, lunch or snack. Thanks guys!

This was my first time here and it did not disappoint. After a year of hearing about it from my partner who visits every week pretty much to get his steak sandwich fix we went and had lunch with our son. It was lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom bruschetta and our son enjoyed his milkshake more than his croissant. Lovely and pleasant serving staff and was truly wonderful to sit and eat in a Cafe. Highly recommend a visit if you can. Has a park across the road if your kids want to play afterwards. A great gateway to exploring the Dandenongs too.

Great service even though it was Saturday morning with a good number of people. The coffee was lovely, a mug of flat white, rich cream made to perfection! And well needed after a hike, which also built up an appetite. The meal was the poached eggs with bacon, the eggs, muffin, sauce all were amazing, just a treat to your pallet. The omlet was also awesome. Go ahead, enjoy:)

Reasonably priced food. Coffee can do a bit better. Mine was burnt. Not happy. Maybe next time you will pay more attention to get it right...🙏👍

Another 5 ⭐ experience at Dragonfly. This is my go-to for reliable good coffee but today I tried their French toast. Super yummy! Their dirty chai is the best. When you ask for a large coffee you get a LARGE coffee. Love it!

Fantastic food. We had the chicken and beef kofta wraps with a serve of chips. Great flavours in the wraps and the chips were absolutely top notch. Keen to sample more of the menu! Quick note to owners: please stock more coke no sugar in cans 🙂

Didn't want to serve anything other than what was on the display cabinet at 2.00pm. They had a group coming in we discovered. Bad service, food was old and dry, won't be going there again.

Great service. Very quick. Coffee amaaaaaazing and falafel wrap was toasted to perfection and tasted great. Cafe has toilets which is a huge bonus. Thank you so much for your exceptional service.

Ordered a coffee and a vanilla slice. Coffee is beautiful, very smooth! The vanilla slice though. Now let me tell you, as a bigger boy myself, who has been in the industry for a good long while, who has sampled several, several hoisemade vanilla slices. The vanilla slice at The Chocolate Dragonfly is absolutely amazing, easily in the top 3 I've ever had, cannot recommend enough Well done guys 🤙

Not the first review to mention the vanilla slice, but it was truly incredible. I am not averse to a good old 'snot block' vanilla slice and typically don't like too many deviations from the classic form, but this one is an absolute charmer. Simple and spectacular all at once. I also had the salmon bagel, which was generously filled, fresh and delicious. Would like to see slightly more vegetarian options for this menu to be ideal (a falafel option of the kofta kebab would be great, or a egg/cheese/hashbrown brekkie roll) but what they do have is done very well - and with lovely personable service too. Top stuff.

I only stopped in for a coffee ☕️ which was very nice,I didn't try the food but I will next time,as I Intend to go back soon .

Not much variety. Barely anything in the window to eat. Only old looking cakes. Waste of time coming here

Very friendly, competent staff. Food was delicious. Check drink sizes before ordering as large is not the same as most other places. 90deg parking can get a little hectic when there's traffic. Beware there are very few u-turn options if you continue down the road so exit your desired direction if you don't intend to head further SE. Better to walk/ride to.

What a wonderful place! The staff are so lovely and friendly. Service was excellent. The actual cafe is modern and cosy with a good community feel as the staff were on a first name basis with customers. The food was outstanding and the coffee was really well made. Looks like I've just found my new local cafe to frequent 😁😁 Will be telling my friends and family. Really happy.

my steak sandwich was served quickly and was absolutely beautiful! one of the best i’ve had :) staff was very kind as well! definitely recommend this place!
