Mooroolbark Miniature Railway

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Great outing for the young kids. Many different trains to take the kids on with a ship nearby selling hot dogs and rolls. The rides are quite long and the tickets are very worthwhile. People often mention kids, trains, great, time, long, train, ride,

We went around twice on this train, the cost of the ride was very well priced. There are picnic tables for you to use. Lots of parking. There was a very long queue (20mins wait) Would probably depend on the day and time you went. Overall the kids enjoyed it.

So much fun!! $3 a ride and it looks us around 3 loops! The line was long, but the wait time was short. So don't get disheartening if you see a long line. Lots of trains running at one one (4 trains?). Each train can take 8-10 people so they get through the crowd pretty quickly. Very organised and we'll be staffed. Everyone is friendly. Plenty of parking too We had a picnic so we didn't get to try the sangs. Next time! Thank you to all the volunteers. ๐Ÿ™

had a great time with my family, we enjoyed the train ๐Ÿš‚ ride that is worth the $3 a ticket ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ not only that the sausage ๐ŸŒญ with onions ๐Ÿง… is very nice especially all money ๐Ÿ’ฐ go towards the area and the hard working volunteer there . especially no government support so it's reliable on the public and the volunteer/s working there . can't wait to go again as there can be have party ๐ŸŽ‰ and picnics ๐Ÿงบ ๐Ÿ˜Š around the railway track ๐Ÿ›ค๏ธ

Great fun trains, good snacks at the canteen. Was there in wet weather: pack gumboots and secure foot wear as got supper muddy and slippery . Some people had BYO gazebo to put over picnic tables, this was great in wet weather!

A great place to take the kids for some cheap entertainment. For a couple of bucks you get two very long loops around on the tracks, and there's plenty of space to lay out a blanket and use the BBQ. The grounds could do with a bit of improvement / maintenance, but from my understanding this isn't a commercial enterprise as such, so I think they do pretty well.

A great little facility, the kids love it. The volunteers do a great job, and despite the line being long sometimes it's still always a great trip out

Me and my kids had a great time. A really well set-up place, tickets are only $3 and kids under 4 are free so it is very affordable. There is a little canteen too but if you bring your own food you can have a little picnic and watch the trains go by up close while you eat. My toddler especially loved waving at all the trains. Staff are also super friendly. We will definitely be back.
