Just had a lovely breakfast from the new spring menu at Eugene's. Absolutely delicious savoury French toast and the lamb scram. The team have outdone themselves again. Great food and even greater service as always.

Eugenes is quite a stark contrast to the usual shops at Wantirna Mall - but definitely in a good way. I’d give this place a 5/5 based on the waiters and staff alone - they genuinely looked happy to be there! Didn’t try the food but coffee and cakes were great. Heaps of parking too.

This place is just the best. The food is PERFECTION! My husband had the chicken burger and still hasn’t stoped talking about it. I had eggs on smashed avo and it wasn’t overdone garnish with a side of breakfast. The kids menu is great and they even have colouring in on every kids menu. The thing that stands out with Eugene’s is BALANCE everything is coordinated no out of place colours. Service with a smile, menus, branding and interiors that would make any graphic designer relaxed. Its city vibes coffee shop in a suburban area.

Most of the day we are having the brunch here. The food is really good👍🏻 We just try their cocktails 🍹 last week in then evening. It’s amazing to have their recommended cocktails with figs.

Delicious dinner and great service. Good selection of small plates to share and a few main choices, generous serves and variety of flavours and texture. Something for everyone on the drinks menu. Have been here a few times for brunch and love the dinner option. Ash was the best, loved how friendly and cheerful he is!

Family lunch here and we all enjoyed the food especially Go Go Burrito, the brisket was soft and combined with smashed avo, corn and cheese was perfectly matched. The burger was juicy.

Beautiful food, and the customer service is top notch here. Great to see a cafe that actually put in so much effort even in the small details. Coffee is just average, it would be perfect with better type of coffee beans.

Absolutely need to come back and try more of their food when I get the chance. A lovely new addition to Wantirna mall, the staff/owners were extremely friendly and happy to help wherever they could. Loved the vibes and their oat milk hot choccie was delicious.

Had work meeting and lunch at venue today, fantastic service. Front of house and barista wonderful. Excellent coffee. Food beautifully presented. Music a bit loud for talking. Highly recommend.

Reuben sandwich was faultless, so delicious with great proportions! The iced matcha latte was also really good - very smooth with no bitter after-taste. Atmosphere was quite artsy and thoughtful! Loved the little touches with the unique spoons and the WC also had some awesome design features! Great little spot for brunch

I never take the time to review places but I absolutely had to. This morning I had the most incredible breakfast I’ve ever had! I’ve never seen crumpets on a menu and they were delicious!! I can’t wait to go back for seconds, and thirds, and if Eugene is single, possibly marry him.

Absolutely what this area needed. Each time, I have been greeted straight away as I walk through the door and felt welcome. Fantastic coffee and the food is delicious- you can tell they use good ingredients. I’ve found my new local!

The coffee is fantastic, the staff are fantastic (always smiling and welcoming, something that can be rare these days). Even though it was full, we were served quickly, and food and coffee arrived quickly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Great local cafe that's become a weekly favorite. Fantastic coffee, delicious food. Welcoming and friendly staff that clearly love their jobs and it shows in their interactions. Lovely ambience. The water on arrival, cloth napkins and quirky teaspoons a point of difference. Highly recommend several visits as once is not enough. We come here now in preference to going out for dinner :)

It's about damn time a cafe like this popped up on the ole Wantirna mall. Great coffee and food! Will be back for more.

Just took my 91 year old Dad for breakfast, wonderful food, great staff and lovely atmosphere. Very impressed as visiting family at the Knox hospital and had no idea where you eat. A really lovely experience. Thanks so much. As you can see from the photo l could not wait to taste my savoury fresh toast, tasted as great as it looked and really appreciated the Christmas decorations 👍❣️

Fantastic food, fabulous service and great vibes, this cafe is such a gem! We ordered the prawn meatball omelette and the sando with chips, both the dishes were delicious 🤤 would 💯 recommend!

A place where the owners pour their heart into the place and where even the cutleries are unique. Love the coffee, didn't get to try the chai but it looks and smells awesome. The dill dipping sauce goes really well with chips. Can't wait to see how Eugene's gonna progress.

We met our granddaughter and her friend here for brunch. The food was delicious, fresh and exactly what was ordered. The drinks were also delivered as ordered, with a smile, a small joke and a kind word. My husband was especially impressed by Olivia's friendly service and good natured banter. We hadn't seen our granddaughter for two years and although the cafe was busy, we were not pressured to leave. So we ordered more drinks and enjoyed each other's company. The decor is pleasant and fresh. Altogether a most worthwhile experience. Thankyou to all at Eugene's.

It's a hidden gem in wantirna. Great service, $25pp for brunch + coffee I suppose it's reasonably priced for its portion. The owners have put efforts in this cafe, I will return for sure.

The service is always so warm and friendly at Eugene's. Really nice food too. The chai they make is really top notch. Would definitely recommend you go try a meal here. They have beautiful muffins and croissants too if you prefer a lighter snack. The atmosphere is really nice here.

This has become our favourite local cafe - wonderful service with the staff always putting a smile on my face, such a high standard set in terms of food, coffee, ambience and style - the menu caters for everyone and everything I've ordered has been delicious. So glad I don't have to venture too far to find the perfect coffee, great vibes and delicious food. Will definitely keep coming back here!

Ordered the breakfast sando, Reuben with fries, matcha latte and decaf. Breakfast sando was really good, brisket was awesome, reuben I found was too dry, I think the rye bread wasn't great, it had all the ingredients to make the reuben but just was dry for my liking, the dipping sauce with the fries was really good, I'd buy a bottle of that, the matcha latte felt like it needed more matcha flavour but everything else was great. Service was 10/10, could not fault at all.
