Any time I land at Laguardia Airport now (which is often because of my job), I come straight here for dinner-- only 25 minute bus ride. The food, exquisite. The staff, so kind! I'm a vegetarian, and this place will have you happily ordering 4 different things on the menu. The quality is there, and you have so much to take home with you. I love this place so much. <3

Really good food with excellent service! The spices were well balanced and flavorful. Probably the best Indian restaurant food we've had in a real long time. Highly recommended.

Hands down the best/authentic Indian food I’ve had in the States. Both me and my friends have been to India, so trust us! You have to try the curries. Service was above and beyond. They also take credit card (instead of cash only), very convenient. We will definitely come back to try more dishes.

I get the hype in all the reviews. Whatever we ordered was good taste, not too oily, good quality, decent prices and was in good portion sizes. Pani Puri - Puri was nice, stuffing and panini was okay Samosa - Nice, crispy Amritsari Paneer Kulcha - Amazing, very authentic taste Butter Chicken - Good Garlic Naan - very tasty, light and soft Goat Biryani - Good taste, can be better, meat was cooked nicely Only complaint would be the heater situation, we went in on a cold afternoon. The heater wasn't working well and we had to eat with our jackets on.

The food did not disappoint! Must order the lamb chops to start and the veggie briyana. The service was so great and our waiter had the best recommendations. This is a must visit spot - worth the trip to Jackson Heights! Definitely coming back soon.

Everything I ate was so satisfying! If you miss Indian or Indian food, THIS IS THE PLACE to visit! I have been to many indian restaurants none of them taste this delicious or have the actual Indian flavors like Angel!!! Portion sizes, service, flavor 11/10 The minute I walked out of the restaurant I recommended this to all my friends, this is a must visit! Highly recommend Chicken 35!

A taste that steals your soul! It's a real Indian taste. The papadam served before the meal is crunchy and has an herbal taste. How can I describe this delightful taste? This is my first time leaving a review before finishing my meal. I ordered chicken curry and buttered egg. It couldn't have been this beautiful. A spicy taste that anyone can enjoy. The sweetness and savory flavor hidden behind it is a pleasure itself. I will come again. And soon!

Amazing Indian food!!! The restaurant was listed on the Michelin guide and we got very lucky without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon. Definitely recommend making a reservation if you plan on visiting. There’s limited seating and people do take their time with their food. The options were plentiful and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

I recently dined at Angel, an Indian restaurant in Queens, New York, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The food here is undoubtedly the best Indian cuisine I've ever tasted. Every dish is prepared with fresh ingredients that burst with flavor. What truly sets Angel apart is their outstanding service. The owner is incredibly attentive and genuinely cares about the restaurant and its patrons. This dedication to quality and customer satisfaction shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. I highly recommend Angel to anyone looking for an unforgettable Indian culinary adventure in Queens.

I loved this place. Chicken Biriyani was incredible and lasted for several meals taken home from leftovers. Staff was upset nice and totally unassuming (particularly for bib gourmand). People were putting their airport bags down, as if this was the first or last experience of New York. I’ll definitely be coming back to try even more of the menu.

Love! This place is the best. My partner and I had a double birthday gathering here and it was fantastic. It’s a small restaurant so we had a reservation for 6 to make sure there was a table. They didn’t rush us even though they busy. The food is beyond incredible. Please go and eat everything. The service is great. The flavors are an experience that you cannot replicate.

First time eating here and I have to say that the food was very tasty. I just didn’t like that there were a ground of staff just standing around the corner and staring. Since it is a tiny restaurant, the environment became awkward at that time. The place was a bit cold and that was due to the door being open a lot. Other than that the food was great and I would recommend anyone in the area to Check this place out.

Food is very good although if they tell you something is "indian hot" levels of spicy, be careful. The dum biryani we got was really that HOT. Two spoonfuls and I was sniffling and tearing up. The samosa is good but the star was the samosa chat. That stuff is REALLY good. It's something even people who don't usually eat Indian food like my mom will enjoy. The rest of the curries and dishes were good however as I mentioned earlier the biryani was very hot and I tasted it first so my taste buds were blitzed and no amount of mango lassi can save it so I couldn't appreciate the flavors as much as I could have. Garlic naan is always a favorite but the cheese naan was also surprisingly good. The tomato sauce fried cauliflower dish was also excellent. The saag paneer is kind of a let down though and was the most disappointing dish.

The first I came, I didn’t realize the reputation of this place. There was an hour wait cause we had no reservation so we tried again a week later. The place is relatively small, thankfully they do have outdoor seating or else we might’ve had to wait a bit longer. The parking situation isn’t ideal, but it shouldn’t be too hard if you don’t mind a little walking. The food was great. Warning, my spice tolerance is very low so take my opinion on the spice level with a grain of salt. We got seated immediately, were given menus and offered drinks. We already knew what we wanted so we also ordered quickly. They give a free app to every table, I’m not too sure what it’s called but it was tasty. The sauce it came with was also good just a bit spicy. We ordered the paneer tikki for apps and butter chicken with garlic naan as a main. The paneer was great, the yogurty taste really balanced out the sauce, which tasted like lime, cilantro, and lot of herbs. The chicken was also good. It had a lot more tomato flavor than the other places I’ve had but it really worked. Now the thing that got me hooked, the garlic naan. It was so good, I ordered another one. Besides the food the thing that really drove my review up would be the service. Usually with outdoor seating, you expect to be neglected a bit as you’re away from the main restaurant, but not this time. Our server stayed in the outdoor area with everyone and stayed attentive to anything we needed. He also made some light conversation and made the overall experience more enjoyable.

As a vegan, I especially enjoyed Angel. Only steps away from the 7 train, this unassuming spot offers many vegetarian and vegan options. And the staff are very helpful with any special dietary requests. The food seemed freshly prepared and was flavorful. This will be my go-to Indian option when in Jackson Heights. Thanks guys!

Wow! We were blown away by the amazing food and service here! We ordered the pani puri, samosa chat, garlic naan, the chicken dum biryani and goat dum biryani. Everything was delicious and came out pretty fast too. All of the servers were so friendly and helpful and actually seemed happy, which I find is rare lol. It’s BYOB as well, which was nice - we brought a bottle of wine with us. We’re so excited to come back and bring our friends and family in the near future! This place is a gem. Very happy with our first visit here and we would highly recommend anyone who loves Indian food to try it out.

Very good Indian cuisine in New York Queens. The butter chicken was very succulent and the curry sauce had a great kick of spice. Well worth the trip and money as they provide good portions and they provide free refills on the rice.

Four of us ate here, and it was incredible! The food and the service exceeded all expectations. We got the chat samosa, paneer khurchan, tardka dal, veggie doum biriyani, lamb rogan josh. Delicious. Great level of spice as a default. Best Indian food in North America. Note: No alcohol available (was no problem for us but worth saying). The only tiny downside was that we were seated in the covered terrasse/patio on a night when the temperature fell below freezing. The two space heaters they provided were not enough to keep us warm so we had to eat in our coats.

Amazing food it was spicy for me (in a good way). Our service was excellent. Sameer our waiter was so kind and friendly. He made sure we had a great experience and kept checking up on us if we needed anything. The restaurant was a cute little Indian spot. Would recommend to going to this spot.

Truly charming experience, worth a trip from any borough. Some of the most flavorful and warmly prepared Indian food I've ever had. Well priced and well sized portions, a special experience all around. The best part was the spice level that was carefully present in every dish.

Went to Angels twice in the span of two week because it was so so good. Fall always makes me crave desi food. I tried their Dal Makhani, Tewa Kaleji, Samosas, Fish Amritsari, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, Butter Naan and Chicken Kulche. Also masala chai is a must. They are really busy so make sure to make a reservation beforehand. Best is to call them. They serve complimentary Papad with a white sauce that is such a nice starter. Then comes the appetizers. I didn’t think their appetizers would be such big portions. Tewa Kaleji had buttered bread and it tasted amazing. The daal makhani is the best my friend had so far. And she went to tons of desi restaurants over all these years. The Fish Amritsari was crispy and the sauce paired really nice. The butter naan with butter chicken is one of the best I had. Also all the main courses comes with big bowl of rice which is perfect for two if you have a small appetite like me. Only cons would be the samosa is bit too oily for me. But the stuffing is tasty and not overwhelming. Another con would be the Garlic Naan is too over powering (I am a garlic girl so I loved it regardless) with garlic flavor.

Don’t miss out on this place. 💯 recommend! Make sure to have reservations as they tend to get busy. We will come back to try the other dishes!!

This is my new favorite restaurant. The dum biryani was the best I’ve ever had, and I loved trying the cauliflower appetizer as well. They make their paneer in house and it’s spot on perfect. Special thanks to Sam and Tim for the warm welcome! Can’t wait to be back.

Average is how I would describe my experiences. The fish was delicious but the goat biryani—though beautifully presented was average. The garlic naan was delicious but the chicken stuffed naan was a meh.

We went to Jackson Heights to try all the different cuisines. Indian food was on our list! We went to this restaurant and only ordered an appetizer. The staff was very friendly and the food was really good. I wish we would’ve ordered a whole meal here! I love Indian food.

Good Indian food, and you will love it if you like spicy food. The 2 main courses we have are well-seasoned, but even the "a little spicy" dish is still quite spicy. They can't change the spicy level. The appetizer is interesting, but I'm not a big fan. The outside is crunchy, and when you take a bite, a-little-cold minty yogurt comes out. It is good to eat after very spicy main courses since it helps cool you down. Recommend reserving on Resy since the place is quite small but they have a decent crowd. Very nice customer service

Food is so good and portions are big that leftovers had enough for one more meal! The flavors and spices are so aromatic. Service is wonderful. I think best indian food I've had so far in NYC
