Really slow service even though there is a small line. The food quality is actually ok, but the slow and poor service just made this place so bad

Staff are rude, I saw them yell at me and a literal child for asking them not to put lettuce in a burrito. At the sandwich station, one woman was making sandwiches at a pace of one per 15 minutes. Fellow customers and I were legitimately wondering if we were on a prank show given the quality of the service.

Review for Global Sandwiches: how do you serve someone this sandwich for $20 with a straight face. "chicken avocado" but no avocado. Chicken isn't seasoned with anything and it's dry af. I haven't had a sandwich this bland in like 10 years Best part of this meal was the free napkins! 😞

Here’s the best suggestion I can offer on “Global Sandwich” hidden behind the cute facade of a hippie van - SKIP IT. It was remarkably slow service but here’s what what really got me - the is a nyc airport. Best breakfast sandwiches in the world and this is how we represent it to people visiting or leaving? It was completely flavorless and might as well have been made of wax. And then there was the price - $10. For the worst breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. So - just make sure you grab some food before you hop in that cab to go the airport ;) you’ll be glad you did.

This was the first and last time I will order anything from here. Gross. I paid $15 for this disgusting attempt at eggs, bacon and sausage. The bacon was limp and filled with grease and cold. The sausage was dripping with grease so I had to dry them in napkins. You can see how much oil came off of it. I have never in my life seen eggs like this. And the cucumber and tomato salad is old. I asked for taziki to try and make this edible, but they didn’t seem to know what it was or how to give me some, even though their menu is a Greek restaurant with items that have taziki. Never ever again. Cute concept, and as another reviewer said, if only you tried to make your food real food… it could be a smash. For me… it’s a disgusting mistake. Do yourself a favor and avoid!!!

I would give this disgusting place negative stars!!! Food is old and nasty I got sick with food poisoning and I am calling the health department. The woman behind the counter should be terminated and I believe the manager as well. They are rude and disrespectful to everyone. They talk about the customers right in front of them how can you charge $18 for a wrap and serve garbage with road service just because you’re in the airport you still need to have people running these places this place should be shut down 100% disgusting from the food or shall I say the inedible food to the disgusting service that you provide in charge that much money is a crime. Not surprised you’re rating is under two stars. I’m surprised it’s even that high.

Do not come here. Asked for a Stella but only 3/4 of a pint came out because the barrel needed changing. The lady serving us said she would top it up after changing the barrel. After waiting for 30 mins we couldn’t wait any longer so asked for the bill. She tried to charge us for the pint of Stella. Rude, snotty, expensive and not worthy of your hard earned cash. We even heard her speaking about us to another customer. Avoid. Go to la grand comptoir instead

Loved the food but service is extremely slow. Different kiosks to place order l, different kiosks to pay and everything is just all over the place. They seriously need to rethink their order placement and processing system.

Shoulda checked the reviews before going here. Ordered on their self service kiosk which is easy and efficient. No one made the food after 30 minutes and when I asked them about it, still had no idea I had ordered. Made the wrong thing and eventually just told them what exactly to make. If the food was great I would’ve probably been ok, but food was very below average. And extremely expensive. $91 for lunch for 3. Walk past this and eat at the restaurant or near the terminals. Many great options Including Shake shack

Neat lil place with food and drink. The burrito I got was delicious & reasonably priced. The drink on the other hand was good but not great and the fact that they don’t list drink prices was a bit misguided. Would definitely eat here again.

I got a taco box at one "truck" and a coffee at the other. The food and drink was ok but the prices were outrageous even by airport standards.

40 minutes for 2 gyros. If I didn't push them it might have been an hour. They let you pay for things unavailable then you run for your refund. All that on an airport where you might be short on time. Add to that the utterly rude style of personnel and you have a solid no-go food option.

Wish I could give the mango Mexican place zero stars. It was 100% completely tasteless and SO overpriced. Payed $15 for a burrito bowl and could not taste a single thing in it. My friend said the same thing. The beans, rice, carnitas, even the cheese, all tasted like nothing. Payed $8 for chips and salsa. The chips were the mission chips you buy in a $4 big bag at Costco, and the salsa was the cheap kind that everyone buys in a jar at the grocery store. It was so easy to tell. Threw away half of my meal because I couldn’t finish it it was so tasteless. Went to a pizza place right after and it was much better and filling.

Italian bagel cost nearly $20 incl tax was overpriced for what it is. Instead go to gate to find alternative options. Give this food hall a miss

If I could rate this place 0 I would many times over. DO NOT EAT HERE. The worker, African American lady at green goddess was treating this woman so rudely like she owed her the world. No one owes you anything, if you don’t want to work there then don’t. The Mango taco place was even worse, there was no worker there for a good 15 minutes until I alerted someone and they came. She then got my order wrong by putting pork in it. So disgcusting and it’s not even cheap, 18 dollars for a bloody burrito that she got wrong. please do yourself a favour and eat at McDonald’s, anywhere else as opposed to this place.

Rude AF employees, paid $3 extra for tomatoes & Avoca which did not make it to my sandwich. Should have just walked away in the first place when I encountered the first employee. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

My order cost $18. I got tiny portions of eggs, beans, onions, and carnitas. I can't eat gluten or cheese. So, they allowed me to get a bowl instead of a burrito, but lettuce, pico de gallo, tomatoes, etc... were all $2 extra EACH.

When you order a Chicken Kebab sandwich from a self proclaimed Mediterranean food stand with a Greek name and Greek styled signage in NYC you would expect flame broiled cubes of chicken on a hot grilled Greek pita. What you get here is shredded boiled chicken on warmish bread that tastes like a hamburger bun. You do get the advertised condiments and the sandwich did taste alright but it wasn't at all what I was misled into buying.

I’ve been to JFK plenty of times and never ate here and now I understand why. I ordered the falafel pita wrap from the Greek place and the pita completely fell apart a second into trying to eat it. Falafel was dry and not enough tzatziki to make it decent and I even added feta. Avoid this place and go to Shake Shack

Grabbed a bacon, egg and cheese at Global Sandwich. Quick service and tasty. Pricey, but expected in an airport. $14.14.

I had a veggie burrito with impossible meat in it at the Maya taco cart in the 5 Borough food cart area of the airport (terminal 4) before my flight and I have to say that it tasted really good going in but by the time I was getting on my flight a little while later, I was feeling bloated and having gas pains. Once on my flight, it only got worse and I thought I might vomit. I went to plane bathroom about an hour into the flight and had serious diarrhea and still thought I might vomit. The rest of the nearly 6 hour flight was just an exercise in holding myself together and not throwing up. Really the worst experience I’ve ever had on a plane. Thank goodness there wasn’t any turbulence or I would have been screwed. DO NOT EAT AT THIS FOOD CART.

Skip this one. Mostly ordering yourself by horrible selfservice touchscreens. But other things you have to pay (self service of course) at the exit, complete surprise because prices are not always communicated, like the $13 for a beer. Ordered a $ 20 falafel thing that was dry and tasteless. And you have to eat everything at your gate waiting seats because there are no tables or seats.

Jean the friendly bartender was exceptionally good at her suggestions and cocktail mixes. She made a peach margarita , her speciality she said, which I enjoyed thoroughly. Also the food was tasty and of a good portion size.. Overall a very well spent evening at JFK terminal 4 outlet on 21 st April 2023 while waiting for our flight

Would give zero. Charged $15 for poorly made tacos and didn’t even get what we ordered (out of impossible meat). Management was unhelpful after mentioning we didn’t get what we ordered and charged the same for tacos without it.

Food was halfway decent, out of lettuce, no cilantro or cilantro-rice (just regular rice), portion sizes were very small for the cost. Staff was very rude and said “I hate people” to herself as we were checking out after she ignored us. Not 1 star but 2 because I’m vegan and asked for no cheese and the worker also left off a coleslaw thing that had dairy and I didn’t know, which was really appreciated
