If one likes to visit ancient places or stepwells, this is a good one. Relatively well kept & neat. One can also visit the Sun temple which close to this place.

Through Google reviews came of this place. Those interested in historical places and vavs visit this place. Peculiarity is whole structure is on sturdy architectural pillars well placed both longitudinally and descending to Vav beneath. The stairs and a few intricate design can be seen on side walls. Quite well maintained and not so popular and much known place. Open all days from sunrise to sunset and parking available. No entry fees. Enjoy.

Borsad stepwell is a historical place . The architectural steps & pillars are very well constructed. Good place for people who are interested in historical place. Its a beauty in itself. Also a very well & ideal place for shoot, photography. Its open & free for everyone. One can visit anytime. Just need a little attention & maintenance from local corportion.

The place wasn’t as we expected it to be. However its a nice place when there are not much people around. There is care tacker but of not much use as the place requires some restoration and good maintenance on daily basis. It cannot be considered as a tourist place but if you live nearby you can visit on a good evening or early in the morning.

Definitely a must-visit attraction if you're in the area. We had a tour with various background information. We had little expectation in advance, the surroundings are not the best, but the Bordac Stepwell's are worth seeing

Very important and heritage monument. Must be restored, repaired and maintained on regular basis. Government must look in to the matter.

Nice and quiet historical site. Both visitors as well as the government should help protect the site from further deterioration

Visited Jan 2020. Pics attached. One of the simpler vavs in Gujarat. Worth visiting if you like vavs, like I do, or just like really old sites. There's nothing else to see in Borsad, if I'm not mistaken, btw. Best time to visit might be April-May when the water level has receded. It is possible to get to the rear of the vav by walking on the top most parapet, see attached pics. Don't miss the inscription on one of the horizontal beams.

Wonderful monument which was built in late 15th century. It needs bit more attention from the government. No entry fees. Good place for photography. There's a shrine of goddess Khodiyar in this vav

This vav is a historic place. Newly married couples come here to untie the MINDHAL they were before marriage and gets blessings. Govt authority to take proper care.

1 star not for the actual monument but what's happening/happened to our heritage. There is zero maintenance and likely because of the demography there. The local authorities have taken zero initiative to act with foresight and keep the surrounding areas free from encroachment.

It is one of the old Heritage Monument which is not maintained at all. The town has not at all any importance for that monument.
