Certainly one of the most beautiful places I’ve been in my life. The way those monuments are built to reflect the suffering and how heroic people were to save the world from Nazism. There’s a restaurant and a small shop to buy souvenirs. The road to arrive there is also beautiful.

In May 1943 this was one of the most dangerous places in Europe (see Case Black). After a month of enemy encirclement and attrition, the Partisans were able to break free at this very spot. The monument is both impressive and poignant at the same time. You can walk all the way between the slabs. Most recommended.

Auch ich muss zugeben, dass das Denkmal von oben und mit den Bergen im Hintergrund eine tolle Kulisse abgibt. Von unten wirkt es lange nicht so. Bin sehr froh, hochgegangen zu sein und kann dies nur jedem empfehlen. Die Stufen sind super zu laufen und in hervorragendem Zustand.

One of those places which are off tourist beaten paths but they have its glory. Quite well kept, I can imagine it is very nice on special occasions. Restaurant next to it is definitely worth a visit.

Most beautiful scenery ever especialy for those who love mountains, hiking and camping, biggest open swimming pool in the Europe is also near so just wonderful place to go and forget about the world and troubles around us

This spomenik at Tjentište commemorates the fighters and fallen soldiers of the Battle of the Sutjeska, which took place from May 15th to June 16th, 1943.

It's a beatiful place, both for the monument and the natural landscape. But BE CAREFUL! Be careful with stairs, The are some single step, which are not obvious at the view....Last week I fell down because one of it, I broke my arm e stopped my Bosnian holidays badly 🤦. Anyway, health staff at Foca hospital were very kind and professional!
