Beautiful coffee house that is the only place in Mostar that roasts their own coffee. Sarah the barista was kind to show us the traditional Bosnian way if preparing and drinking coffee

Very nice place. It serves local coffee prepared in traditional way. The coffee is grind manually before being served. The coffee shop is run by a Bosnian family. Waitress will explain you how to properly drink the coffee and if you wish you can also listen to the story how this place was established. Another worth visiting place in Mostar. :)

This place isn't just about the coffee, which is exquisite. The coffee comes with a story. The story of how to enjoy it to the fullest, how the coffee came to be what it is at this cafe, and a story about the owners, who are also wonderful. Here's the rendition: The coffee: presented to each client on its own copper tray, with the coffee grounds brewing in their own little copper carafe. On the side was a glass of chilled water and a tasty rose-petal flavoured Turkish Delight. The owner teaches you how to complete the brew and pour it into your cup. The flavour concludes the divine tale. You need to do this. The place: easy to miss, as it's tucked away, but well worth the hunt. It's like stepping into an old family friend's place. As it turns out, there were only three sitting areas on purpose because, as the WiFi sign says it, "No WiFi. Talk to each other." The layout is to encourage visitors to follow the example of the owners and meet new people. I loved that a not so simple cup of coffee turned out to be how I met some new friends. Verdict: flying to Bosnia Herzegovina and getting yourself to Mostar just for this experience would be well worthwhile. So much so that we have rescheduled our remaining time in Mostar to revisit again.

A fabulous little diversion, and my first experience with Bosnian (or Ottoman Empire) coffee, which was explained wonderfully by the owner. An experience and not just a cup of coffee! My only regret is coming as the last point in my visit and so being rushed! Coffee was €2.50 each.

Located in a quite courtyard by the old mosque, away from crowds on the main boulevard this place offers unique coffee experience. You can have a traditional bosnian coffee experience here, with a guide from an owner of how to pour it and drink. 100% recommended. Aaa one more thing, the music here too is super nice and the owner sings very calmly:)

Hidden gem! Only place in town that roasts their own coffee. Took time to explain the traditional way to enjoy Bosnian coffee, and answered all our questions. Even the 'Turkish Delight' was the best we've ever had (fresh, melt in your mouth). Great experience!

If you love coffee, you should definitely go. It offers an awesome experience with delicious coffee that pairs perfectly with Turkish delight. Also, be sure to try the rose juice.

A soulful place for coffee. ;) The owner (forgot to ask his name!) gave a meaningful explanation of what Bosnian coffee means to their people and properly demonstrated how we could be part of the tradition. The cafe only serves traditional Bosnian coffee (strong double espresso type) so those looking for latte or iced coffee would be disappointed. Still, with a Turkish delight on the side, who could resist such a treat?

The place is a hidden gem in Mostar. We had an absolutely amazing time there! It’s located right next to the crowdy main street, yet the place remains super quiet, comfy and relaxing. We were served traditional Bosnian coffee with a small desert on a side and the lady showed us how to properly drink it and told us some interesting facts about the history of the coffee. Highly recommended!

If it's your first time trying Bosnian coffee —staff will tell you what is the right way to drink it, they speak perfect English👍 Possible to pay by card or in euro. Place is pretty tiny, 1 table inside and several more outside. No toilet and no wifi. Overall good experience☕

I tried their traditional coffee and baklava. Wonderful experience!

Great cozy cafe serving traditional Bosnian coffee. Girls explained exactly how to prepare and drink the coffee as well. No WiFi, as it's not needed ;)

This was a special experience. Both the coffee and the tea were wonderful. My wife had two servings of coffee! The barista Sara was helpful and also had a great singing voice. My only comment is that it was much too inexpensive. For the quality of service and goods you get I expected to pay twice as much.

THE place to enjoy authentic Bosnian coffee. Our group also enjoyed a wonderful Q/A with the owner of the shop about his views on the history and culture of Mostar. It was an amazing experience.

Good experience learning about Bosnian coffee and the history of the cafe. Sarah was great in all her explanations and was very kind. The coffee is 5KM which is a tad $$ but they do brew onsite. Would return.

It was an incredible experience. We were told about the history of Bosnian coffee and how to drink it. The lady is super nice and takes great care of her customers. The prices are low taking into consideration the experience you get. It is 2.5marks per coffee. On top of that the place is located right next to the main street, however is not crowded at all. It is quiet and relaxing.

The best coffee I've ever had, the staff is very nice and helpful, I ordered 2 Bosnian coffees, the staff showed how to drink it properly. The place is in the center of Mostar but it is hidden so that there are very few customers every time I am here, the place is atmospheric, the coffee is ground on the spot and you can buy a bag of coffee home. Payment is possible in Euro and local currency, Bosnian coffee costs 2.5€. I highly recommend the place and I will be happy to come back next time I visit Mostar ;)

I totally recommend this place, it's possibly the best coffee in Mostar and the waitress is just adorable, she enjoys her job and shows you how to drink the coffee the right way. Charming place, I'll come back for sure.

Such a lovely little spot! They tell you about the process of making and drinking Bosnian coffee too. Highly recommend.

Very nice experience. The lady running the cafe told us about Bosnian coffee traditions and the cafe's story. Coffee was good.

I enjoyed my experience here. The owner is very passionate about coffee and explained in details about the coffee culture. The place is quiet and well located. A must go place for coffee!

The coffee was fantastic and the owner is just the most welcoming and passionate coffee maker you can get. My girlfriend and I learned more about coffee in our visit here than ever in our entire lifespan. 11/10 would recommend coming here

Great coffee and even better service. Go there and get the know their story and the story of Bosnian coffee (especially about the one they are roasting and the machine in the photo)...

Only coffee roasting shop in Mostar: incredible story about old city, Bosnian coffee and saving coffee roasting machine during war time. And, of course, some topshit coffee to taste... 😉

Friendly staff who sings beautifully! Love the traditional music that’s playing. I don’t drink coffee but they have an awesome loose leaf herbal tea! It’s so cute.

Unique place with love for coffee. Very nice atmosphere. I can highly recommend to go there and enjoying a real Bosnien coffee!

  • 5/5 Domagoj P. 4 years ago on Google
The absolute best place in the country to get real Bosnian coffee. Except the lack of espresso, everything about this place is 3rd wave coffee. They source and roast the beans themselves, a spirited young man will make the coffee for you and explain everything about it, even sitting down and taking the time to show how the coffee ought to be enjoyed. A personal touch and a lot of effort may be found in this place, and for basically the same price as all the other places around. Samo nastavite tako!

It's a little hard to find, but yeah, it's worth the 5 star reviews, and well worth the stop if you're in Mostar. There's one type of coffee served here: traditional Bosnian coffee. And it's awesome. Roasted in house, prepared with care, and presented with a passion for the history and culture of Bosnia and its coffee. You don't just get a caffeine fix, you get a warm welcome and a memorable experience. If you're in the area for a few days, you might try to organize a tour with the proprietor, a local guide.

Very nice place to chill and have a cup of Bosnian coffee. The owner patiently explained the ritual of drinking Bosnian coffee, which was awesome. It’s tucked in a corner and a little hard to find (unfortunately google maps doesn’t have a good location of the cafe).

Traditional Bosnian coffee. Enjoy the experience. Sit back and relax. ☕

  • 5/5 Danny L. 2 years ago on Google
I absolutely adore this place. The cousin of the owner came over to us and explained the history of the shop, how to properly pour & drink the coffee, and was polite as ever. Such a charm about the place and it’s history that I couldn’t say a single bad thing about our visit. The Bosnian coffee was also surprisingly good, without being bitter or difficult to drink - no chewing coffee grounds here. I would love to come back any day. Really added to our day trip to Mostar. Highly recommended.

😠 As soon as we stepped in, the waiter was extremely mean. I have never experience such a bad service. I would never come again. The coffee was not good.
