We didn't realise we had to pay to get inside the mosque, and it costs 14KM per person. However, if the entrance fees are imposed for the upkeep of the mosque, then we are happy to pay for it. The view of Mostar Old Town from the top of the minaret is well worth the fee we had to pay. It is just absolutely beautiful from up there. Certainly not to be missed!! I include some photos to share.

Nice mosaue with a perfect minaret wiev you can pay for inside and the minaret seperately but its recommended by all the people so we went in and its worth it, good place to watch people jump from the mostar bridge. And inside is amazing with old vibes and rugs its a very good place for praying too very cold in hot waethers.

In Bosnia, Friday prayers are known to be shorter compared to the Arab world. Despite the difference in prayer lengths, the Friday prayer experience in Bosnia is still peaceful and evokes amazing feelings. The shorter prayer time allows for a more efficient use of time while still providing the spiritual and community benefits of congregational prayer. For those who have experienced Friday prayers in Bosnia, the peaceful and uplifting atmosphere is often a highlight of their visit and a testament to the welcoming and inclusive nature of Bosnian Muslim culture.

It's a small pretty mosque in Mostar. The interior is very simple. We went up the minar to see the views from the top and they were stupendous. Wasn't very happy about the narrow stairs but the views were woth it. For 7€ they should do better traffic management up and down the stairs.

We paid 6 euros per person to enter the mosque and climb the minaret. The spiral stairway to the top is quite narrow. Once you reached the top, you can enjoy beautiful view of Stari Most and the surrounding. The mosque also has a small yard where you can take nice photos of the bridge.

THE BEST VIEWS OF STARI MOST. Having been to Mostar several times in kuding visits to the nearby karadoz beg mosque, we had never seen the unrivalled views from the minaret here. Inside is original and restored decoration. The grounds have benches with unrestricted views of Stari Most (old Bridge) Ticket is 15km for both mosque grounds and minaret.

It's definitely worth it to climb up to the minaret. Though beware it's very very narrow. You can have amazing views of the old bridge at the top. If you are a woman you don't have to cover your head. You also don't have to remove your shoes. The mosque fountains provide some cold refreshing water too. I filled up my bottle here so many times.

Amazing view. Probably the best spot for a photo of the bridge. You can visit just the mosque (6KM - €3) but it's all about the view from the top of the minaret. (12KM - €6 for a combined ticket). Entrance to the mosque is not brilliantly signposted. There's a small archway amongst the row of shops you must go through.

The most well known mosque in Mostar. It offers fantastic views of the Stari Most bridge from the minaret. Dating to 1618, this mosque was founded by Mehmed Koskija, the biographer of the Grand Vizier Lala Mehmud Sokovic. The beautiful interior of the mosque has painted wall murals and a lush carpet that was a gift from Austrian monarch Franz Joseph. With an entrance fee of 3 Euros, it is worth a look and climb to the top of the minaret!

Small but pretty mosque that's worth taking the time to visit. As part of the admission you can enter an area around the back that affords fantastic views of the river, bridge and town - worth visiting!

Nice interior, and spectacular views/photos of the Old Bridge from the top of the minaret (up 89 narrow stairs). They let you in without taking your shoes off, as long as you don't stand on the prayer rugs. Marked down a point as the 7 Euro entry fee including the minaret is almost as steep as the stairs!

Dates back to 1617 & features numerous multicolored windows, a minaret with a lookout spot & a courtyard with several tombs. Although the original Ottoman mosque was heavily damaged during the attacks of the 1990s it has been restored

Very slightly interesting if you've never been in a mosque before but other than to help with upkeep, entry fee not worth it.

You can view the old bridge from the backyard or climbing up the tower.

Beautiful location. But there is an entrance fee to go inside unless it is one of the 5 daily prayer times. As a Muslim ... this just in mind boggling to me. WHY would any masjid CHARGE anyone to see inside a mosque???????? I understand needing funds to update the mosque or do routine upkeep or pay electricity bills or what not. But then you have a fund raiser or ask for donations.

Very beautiful from the outside and totally worth it to go all the way up to the top, the view from the bridge and city is truly amazing. The inside and the garden are also pretty cool

This mosque is not only a saint place it’s also a view point. For around 1€ you can climb in the Minaret (tower) and have beautiful view.

I really enjoyed our visit. It was nice to be able to look inside the mosque and climb the minaret. From the top, you get one of the best views of the Old Bridge! The lady at the entrance was very kind.

Recommend purchasing a ticket with entry to the minaret (not just the mosque) as it offers a breath-taking view of the Old Bridge and the entire city. You can also access the garden from where the view is amazing as well. I was provided with proper clothing at the entrance as I was wearing shorts.
