This place was horrible! We left after one night (and too bad we didn't do that before..) Starting from the long check in, and the staff who couldn't find our cabin. Followed by a very dark room, HIGHLY UNSAFE FOR CHILDREN, where literally everything was broken or didn't work. We've found MOUSE TRAPS under the bed and closet!! In addition, one of the staff appeared in our room around 9:30pm, entered without any invitation while yelling something in Bosnian, and waking up my toddler. During the night we've heard shooting from outside and there was noise until midnight. Needless to say there were power outages, the TV didn't work at all, and the room was too dark we had to use the mobile phone flash light. We ran away first thing in the morning!

At first glance the place is beautiful. But when you start using their services you will realize that some things just don't function well. We visited Stanišići as a group and paid full price in advance. The result was that we could not choose where we get accommodation, where we eat and what we eat, that four of us were accommodated in an apartment for two, that we got a room with mold, etc. So, if you go there as a group, my advice is: don't pay anything in advance. Just sit in the restaurant and order what you want to eat. There you will wait for way too long to be served, the employees are not to blame, it is obvious that they are working as crazy, but the management could consider hiring more people. And finally, if that place is the embodiment of someone's dreams, why did they make a prison for wild animals, it's sad to think that depressed deer in a cage that stinks is something beautiful for kids to see. Despite of all, SPA is great to relax, place looks very romantic, and some employees are very pleasant. Live translation

Waiter gave me cash with KM though I gave him RSD. On top of that, he fooled me on almost 700 RSD in total. Shame on you. Place is nice on photos, but bad in real life. Dirty lakes, fish lacking of oxygen and due to that it goes to water surface. Food is so so. Oversalty

I recently visited Etno deli Stanisić with my family and here are some of my thoughts on the overall experience. The place itself is really nice and I had wonderful time there. But the food is just ok. I assume it’s because the place was overcrowded due to the weekend. I like the fact that you can order a smaller size of some meals. And for me smaller size is just enough. But side dish was cold and it was disappointing. Service was very good and toilets in the main restaurant were clean.

Lovely place, even without food. Very pleasant to spend time, relaxing after long drive. Must visit for everyone doing visa runs from Serbia :)

That village is so beautiful! The rivers, the beautiful trees, the sun going over them, it looks soo pretty! The entrances are free, and the food is reasonably priced too! I heavily recommend checking this place out on summer, but not any other season, since it doesn't look as good.

This place is beautiful and so much to explore and do. We went to different coffee shops, restaurants, museum, they even had BN station filming the day we were there, so there was live music. It was amazing. One big downfall though, everything written (information) was in ćirilica, so i didn't know what anything meant.

I had a great time at the ethno complex, where I enjoyed a rich and diverse offer of activities and services. The complex is well signposted and easy to find, and it has a large parking lot. The food was delicious and varied, from traditional dishes to international cuisine. The service in the restaurant was fast and friendly, and the prices were moderate and fair. The toilets were clean and tidy. The complex also has a souvenir shop, where you can buy some nice and original gifts. The staff was kind and helpful, and they answered all my questions. The accommodation was decent and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The ethno complex is a place where you can experience the culture and nature of this region. It is a place where you can relax and have fun with your family or friends. I highly recommend it!

Great experience! Everything is clean inside and outside, large parking, great hospitality from staff, guest is on first place. Great food for breakfast and in restaurant ("Konoba"), atmosphere, wonderful swimming pool in spa center. If you or your child have problems with falling asleep I wouldn' t recommend to stay in small houses with more rooms because guests and noise from other rooms could bother, otherwise is tolerable. My sincere recommendation to visit and stay!

Stayed in a little house from my old town of Vareš it was great. Little humid inside the home but to be expected. Would recommend it.

Amazing place, recommended if you visit Bosnia and Herzegovina. Beautiful bridges and traditional old cottages of the area. Also there is a lot of beautiful swans. There is also a hotel, restaurants archery and sports fields ranging from football, tennis, handball and others. It is a great place to visit and if you do visit its way better during nice weather.

Great place to visit with your family, especially with kids. Our daughter loved the train ride. The weather was really nice so we had coffee on the patio of one of the restaurants, over the lake. On the weekends it can get crowded, but nonetheless, worth the visit.

It's an awesome place to visit and learn about the culture and history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The old houses, church, and mill are so cool to see, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Plus, the traditional food and music are totally delicious and entertaining. If you're ever in the area, you gotta check it out!

Wow...utterly disappointed! They put us in a cabin directly next to the kitchen. All night long some guy that works there uses a wheelbarrow to haul charcoal into the kitchen then dumps them into something inside a room 5 feet from our cabin door. Asked him to please close the kitchen door that we were trying to sleep... nope! Zero sleep, zero privacy. The food was ok. Not the greatest. The new years party was ok I guess. Mostly for older people. 100 euros per person to listen to their staff work all night and no sleep. Thank GOD we only booked 1 night here. Can't wait to leave this afternoon!

Haven’t slept there but we stopped by had a walk through the place and I really enjoyed how the put all this together. Really beautiful place, hope one day I will get back there and spend one or two nights there! I feel it’s really relaxing there…

This is a charming location, great for family or even romantic get aways. The lake could use some cleaning and mosquito management. Staff was, for the most part, super friendly with just a couple of bad eggs. The cabins on the property are nice and spacious for 2, probably not great for parties of 4 but it's doable. The cleaning staff also needs to be more mindful of the cleaning lady only replaced 2 towels for our party of 4. The breakfast buffet is awful, food is cold and bland. After trying it the first day we opted to pay for breakfast in the main restaurant, which was much better.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this place is definitely worth considering. The location is fantastic - just a 2-hour drive from Belgrade - making it an easy weekend escape. During my visit, the woman at check-in was both professional and friendly, which was a great start to the trip. However, one thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the lake. It would be great to see more effort put into maintaining its natural beauty. The church on the grounds is truly stunning and has a great sense of holiness. I felt grateful to have had the opportunity to visit it. As for the food, it was acceptable, but nothing particularly outstanding. However, the etno house and history artifacts were a super interesting addition and really helped to showcase the local culture. I found the accommodation to be clean and neat, which is always a plus. Additionally, the small train on the property was an interesting addition for kids, making it a fun experience for families. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful and culturally rich experience. While there are some areas that could be improved, it's a great option for a quick getaway from the city.

This time I will write just about food. The food was bad. In short, they are not even close with Banja Luka's best restaurants and this place can not be good indicator of food in Republic of Srpska. As our people say "they can not pour water" to Banja Luka's best restaurants. Best regards.

Lovely etno village is the great place for spending relaxing weekend or coming for a lunch. If you visit this place once you will always come back to it. Service is always spot on.

So much beautiful place for one or two days vacation. This place have one story about floods, and situation in which they found themselves. The place was built so that houses and craftsmen's houses gathered all over Bosnia and setting up in this village. It was done by the family Stanišić. It is extremely relaxing, they have traditional food and place to stay.

The complex with those tall buildings and everything merged togehter looks like poorly designed ethno disneyland. Lakes are dirty, as well as cages with animals. Staff is really rude and unprofessional, especially waiters. Meat was raw. Toilets are disgustingly dirty, literally had nowhere to go to the decent toilet for the whole day. Not coming back again.

Unreal world in middle of nowhere. Big, imposing Hotel Ras, mini train around estate, petting zoo....real family place. Really nice and quite cheap...

I've heard about the place a long time ago but I though it would be kitschy. However, it tuned out to be beautiful and quite unique, so I'm happy I went. Ideal for a weekend (spa) getaway; prices are more than affordable (lunch for two, drinks included, was just 20 euros).

The place is so nice. We enjoyed our family stay. The food is so delicious. Opened and closed pools, spa, wellness, kids funny park, sport courts, etc. Will visit it again. Staff is very friendly!

Great place with unique atmosphere. Looks great even at winter. Free entrance just to walk around and a restaurant access. Small zoo with beautiful Golden Fazan. Children's playground was closed because of the winter. Should be a even better on summer.

No idea about the rooms. I haven't been at the Hotel. But the Wellness area is great, the Service nice. The area of the Etno Selo is great to travel there. The Restaurant is good also.
