Great cave!! Entrance is every hour with an English speaking guide. It’s a bit cold for first 100meters so I recommend getting a hoodie. Entire cave is 7 kilometres long but for visitors only 700meters is open.

Such an amazing cave! Outside temperature was 40C and inside always 11.4C Windy is only at the entrance of the cave until you get deeper. Then magic begins... With a great guide it was a pleasure learning on cave biodiversity. Entrance ticket is about 7.5 EUR for adults and 4 EUR for children.

This place is truly amazing for several reasons, the first of which is the constant temperature throughout the year, second is the strong winds at the entrance to the cave and stunning views inside it that will leave you speeches.

If you are traveling near Vjetrenica cave, or even just around Trebinje and Dubrovnik you must stop by and visit this cave. It's amazing how wind blows at entrance. Regular tourist tour is around 600 meters long, even if that doesn't sounds great it is worth every minute you spend inside ( i would like to go even longer (deeper) next time). Also you can see one really rare creature its fish called Covjecija ribica, fish that has hands like human.

The visit was too short for my liking ! I needed time to adjust to the space, to the ligt, to the sounds! I just was not given opportunity to embrace the experience! It was all about rush in and out for me !

Amazing cave! Very impressive with immense geological and biological significance. Maria, our guide was very knowledgeable and was great with kids and adults alike. Her English is good. You can pay with credit card and Euro if you don't have local currency. The small museum dedicated to the cave is also recommended. This cave is absolutely worth the drive. A great day trip from Dubrovnik, with beautiful scenery in both Kroatia and Bosnia Herzegovina along the way.

A bit remote but still available destination, when you are tired of Croatian crowds and summer heat. The cave is giantic and spacy. Easily available and prepared for tourists. It is about 1,5 km walk. Be prepared, take sporty shoes and hoodie as there is about 11C and for the first 100 meters, you will be blown by strong cave wind speeding over 50 km/h. We were visiting this cave late August, midday and were the only visitors, that's great. They let you into the cave on your own, however, there are guided tours each full hour. Entry is 20 Bosnian mark, which is ~10 EUR.

A very long and nice cave that has a huge bio diversity. It currently can be walked in with a tour guide for 700 meters, which takes approx. 30 min one way and 45 to 60 min in total including the return on the same path, depending on how fast one returns to the entrance. The tours are offered as guided tours only by the full hour. Another 600 meter are about to be finished in infrastructure with lightening and concrete path. As of summer 2023 the entire 1,300 meter (700+600) should be able to be visited. At the end of the tour a living salamander in a water pool is being presented. Absolutely worth the time and money.

Beautiful cave with guided tours every hour. Definitely worth the visit. The road quality is good to drive around there. There is a very good restaurant next to the place, with well priced, tasty food, and wonderful views. You can pay with card, also with euros.

Visiting from USA. Very fun! No stairs to climb. Cool temperature inside, so really nice in the summer. Short drive from Dubrovnik.

This is one of the most unique cave experiences. The wild wind that blows and gives the cave its name is so interesting... and there are so many features that we have never seen before. We went around with Helena and she was an amazing guide. My highlight was singing Amazing Grace in the hall of the fairies as the accoustics made it sound so beautiful! The human fish is fascinating and they try and keep om available to show every time...

Worth the while. Very great tour that we got in the local language. I did not ask whether the tour is available in other languages but the cave and story surrounding it was interesting
