5 stars for Aime and the lovely lady on customer collections today and yesterday. They actually put themselves out to source some paint which I bought online 7 times from different b and q stores click and collect only to spend days driving around to be told they didn't have any paint . But I'd get a refund within 14 days ! I'd managed to buy and pay for 7 tins of paint which I didn't have . Aime personally rang stores to find the paint and requested if removed from stock and waiting for me. Having now physically drove to four b and q s I can honestly say that the Glasshouton store is the nicest by far and have staff who actually do what if says on the can !!👌😍

Got exactly what I wanted. Helpfully staff located and brought it to the checkout for me. Service good, prices as expected. Good range of stock. Able to click and collect.

First off B&Q Castleford are ace all the staff I've spoke too are always helpful! I bought a 5L tub of valsper in midnight putunia probably 6 months ago. Finally got round too using it. Large double bedroom painted with the one 5L tub. Colour is amazing. You can get away with one coat and just needing to patch up on the second coat rather than doing 2 full coats. Gives great coverage. Also totally recommend the roller and the brush with blue handle (not sure on brand added a pic) used loads diff types in past but these are the best I've used! Ergonomically they are so comfy in the hand and to use plus on top of that they last! I have had the roller about 2 years now and clean it and use it again and again. The brush also. The brush I use for cutting in don't use tape or anything ♥️

Really good store it is really big so it can be a little tricky to find what you’re looking for but it really does have everything and lots of choices at fair prices, we came in for a swimming pool and had loads to choose from at good prices. Woman at the till was very quiet and wasn’t chatty at all but she was still professional so can’t complain.

Huge range of hardware and the garden centre is brilliant. Was very impressed with how many hot tub accessories they stocked. Brilliant. Came out with everything I went in for and more.

This store is a DIY enthusiast's haven! It's the best place to buy everything for renovation or any DIY project. The staff is incredibly helpful, providing guidance on building projects with their extensive range of materials. Additionally, they boast a vast selection of garden-related live products, from turf to flowers and trees. As a devoted fan, I highly recommend this store for its exceptional service, knowledgeable staff, and diverse product offerings.

Killing time as elderly parent visiting eye clinic in the carpark. Massive B&Q! Garden centre was amazing. Customer toilets need better signage as difficult to locate.

Massive B&Q, easy to get to, just off the motorway. Few gaps on the shelves so didn’t have everything I wanted but that’s normal these days. Did a click and collect. Order was ready on a trolley for us. Came home, built it straight away no issues.

Easy to walk around. Wide aisles for trolleys. Great signage. Staff are knowledgeable. Great prices. Cheaper than Amazon by £4 on the item we bought. I don't particularly like self check out but there is a member of staff on hand if needed.

Great store but car park is awful on weekend. Total gridlock getting out. Also had bad experience returning an item today. I had lost the receipt and was very rudely told that nothing could be done without a receipt.....I left.....Checked Google to find my rights, and returned quoting the Consumer Act. And was then refunded. Why this couldn't of been done at the start I have no idea. It took the bloke literally 2 minutes to find a copy receipt on his computer.

Went into the store to order a designer radiator paid for it and it should have been delivered within 2 working days after 4 days still nothing arrived and no communication between the delivery company. Taking days off work when money is tight.

As a keen diy'er I have always liked B&Q. I can usually find what I need when I get there. The staff are generally knowledgeable and helpful and I know where everything is. I can't help but linger in the drool, sorry, tool section. Dreaming about all the power tools I would like and looking for bargain offers, which appear occasionally. Although B&Q may not be the cheapest source of materials or equipment, just being in there is like a trip to the seaside for me. Thank you B&Q.👍

Visited to do a click and collect order. Very efficient. So much better than trying to find what I needed in this rather large store when I didn't have a lot of time. Also recently used BNQ delivery. That went very well too.

These 5 stars are for Jack who delivered my order of 12 packs of laminate flooring and not necessarily the store. Appreciate the fact he bought them inside my house and not leave them in the driveway. Thanks Jack, hope you enjoyed your whisper chocolate. 😂😂😂😂

Went to buy some plants as a present & we were pleasantly surprised at the double discount. Also the choice of plants in the wicker baskets were just right.

Worked here installing new equipment and displays for 3 weeks and the store is amazing. I've of the largest I've been in and it had everything!!! Great Store

It was B&Q what’s more to be said…. However, won’t be going back to the Beeston branch, Leeds because if you buy something that’s faulty and needs replacing and you return within 2 hours you get a parking ticket. B&Q will not help you out as it’s not their car park. Nowt like ripping the British motorist off 🤬

Spending my life here at the moment doing up the kitchen. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Always someone on hand to help out. One thing did throw us a bit. Reduced price worktops- heavy and 3 meters ling no home delivery unless your trade. Not really very fair. Company need to review this as very easily looking at other places to buy. However this isn't a reflection on the store itself.

Huge thankyou to Chris who took the time to sit down with us and help design our new kitchen. He was super helpful, informative and patient with us. We can't wait to get the ball rolling!

Lindsey on bathrooms knew her stuff. We ordered everything for our bathroom from her. The store is so neat and tidy. It's a pleasure to walk round. Staff all helpful.

Went to compare telescopic hedge trimmers, good selection and the staff were very helpful too. Access and parking very good, would be happy to visit again

Most over priced DIY store around, prices go up on a weekly basis. £25 for 5l of PVA when everywhere else selling between £10 and £15, and that is just one item that they are ripping people off with. Daylight robbery

Massive B&Q store this one. Excellent outdoor area too. Not a lot else to say. Usual choice of DIY goods. Can't really comment on the staff as used the self checkout, which worked without having to call anyone over - which is always a bonus 😁. 🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨

Don't believe the online stock levels - 49 rolls of insulation in stock. Turn up and find out they're all on a top shelf and nobody is permitted to operate the fork lift whilst customers are in store. Great

😠 One of the worst garden centres I've ever been to. Noone had masks on not even staff. Security at the door which I've never seen in a garden centre before which was worrying. The system to get in the centre was hard. Staff weren't friendly. Strange system in the place a pound shop, a deli and then...

👍👍 I absolutely love this shop. Easy to get round, brilliant staff. Always clean and tidy, well when I have been anyway. The only downside is there is no cafe at this one. But you do have sainsbury next door, so no grwat shame.

👍👍 Called in to get some plant's for a huge job we are working on in Horbury. We bought a great selection of grasses and hellebores. Great selection of stock and very well presented.
