I bought a spa day for my partner and daughter so they could spend some time together, it cost £228. For the day with a short facial and a massage each. Firstly in our opinion this is not a spa in any way you are shown to the pool which is communal with no loungers only normal seating around. There were children playing and swimming in the pool up until midday and the light lunch was served in a box with very little choice. The staff were friendly and the treatments chosen were good but this should never be sold as a spa day, there is nothing else to do but sit upright by the pool waiting for your treatment. If you want a true spa day look at Eden Hall it's only a few miles up the road and has many many more facilities for around the same price. Not happy at all.

Absolutely loved this place for a spa day. I attended early and had a serenity treatment at 10am, which was absolutely divine by Beth and she was so attentive and provided details of the best skincare products to use. The reception staff provided a robe and towel, and then showed me where to go for the pool and sauna. Also, shown where to go for lunch, which is a lovely little secluded area where you can wear your robes still. The lunch was more than I expected, pleasantly surprised, had a chicken flatbread and lots of different salad, and a glass of prosecco. I really loved it. When using the lockers they were a little tricky to figure out, but some other kind lady showed me how to do it. The pool was lovely, the jacuzzi was nice, the sauna and steam room were lovely. I fully enjoyed myself. I would definitely come back again, maybe with friends.

The staff at this spa are absolutely incredible. My sister and I are going through a difficult time at the moment and they really looked us. Liana was friendly, polite and professional and she even organised a special vegan lunch for us (thanks to the chefs for doing that for us too!) My facial was amazing and my sister said her full body massage was the best she’s ever had. Thank you all so much, we will be back soon!

We really enjoy the facilities here. A nice spacious steam room and sauna. The only issue is the single hot tub that unfortunately didn't become available the whole time of our visit. There is a sign asking people to get out after a cycle but they didn't so no one else could use it the couple of hours we was there. We could stay until 6 but left a couple of hours early as swimming lessons started in the pool and it got very noisy. Facial was fantastic and very relaxing.

What a lovely, peaceful spa. That is, until we got "bullied" by a water aerobics instructor. If you are going to attend this spa, make sure that there are no water aerobics going on. We chose this spa to reunite as mom and 2 sisters, from 3 different continents for the first time since covid. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the spa tub and washing away the stresses of life and breast cancer and enjoying each others company after such a long time. After being 'chased' away from the pool area, we retreated to the meditation room. All three of us felt so relaxed that we almost fell asleep. This was followed by each of our chosen treatments, which were amazing. The spa staff were so friendly and professional. Finally, we were treated to a gorgeous English tea. We would highly recommend this spa for a restful treat.

Has the potential to be amazing but too many cost cuttings mean it's only passable. Food is of weather spoon quality but a lot more expensive. No local produce seemed to be used. I had steak for dinner which was tough. The cooked breakfast was of poor quality. I went on a spa break, whilst the treatment was ok it wasn't a great spa. There is a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna situated around a main pool. There are a few benches where it was possible to relax. That was until the pool opened to children at 2pm, when it became just like any public leisure centre. Would not recommend the hotel for a spa break.

Swimming pool and facilities were all fab, super clean and lovely and relaxing to spend time in. I only had one treatment at the spa so can't comment too fully but it was very relaxing and honestly the best massage I've ever had (though I've not had that many) thank you for sorting out the knots in my shoulders Bathshera! Relaxation room was also great. Food and drink is decent (lunch was included in our package and it was simple but tasty), but I thought it very expensive if it's not included in a set package you buy.

Overall not bad. We went on an offer to include a treatment and a light lunch and generally enjoyed all the facilities. Lunch was lovely but the cafe is very small and doesn't stay open very long. It would have been nice to have had a last drink before we made our way home. If I had one thing I didn't enjoy it was the treatment that came as part of the package. I had a shoulder, neck and scalp massage which was very poor, I certainly wouldn't have wanted to pay full price for it. It was a busy day as it was half term so there were quite a few children in the pool area but it didn't bother us too much

1st time experience at the Spa after reading so many positive reviews and seeing spectacular images. In the spa area I must say Homesha & Laura stood out the most for me. They made my experience very memorable and accommodating as they were so professional and informative, I actually learned a lot too! these ladies go above and beyond and defiantly deserve the recognition / promotion - also the gym area was a 10/10 !!

I have been here a couple of times and not reviewed before as nothing has ever made me feel that anyone went over and above for standard customer service. However todays visit was spot on with thanks to Amy. I did not even need to tell her where any issues were she picked up in it pretty much 15 minutes into treatment and tailored to the needs of the issues rather than just being a robot and doing what it says on the sheet. Also has a wealth of knowledge to give you some tips to help at home with aches and twinges. Great work Amy it was a pleasure having a treatment from you and meeting you. Your work has made me leave this review as you made me feel important and not just a cash machine! Thank you so much

Wouldn't really call it a spa , more a communal pool with a sauna and steam room . Pool is not just for 'spa"guests .was shown changing room and pool area briefly , wasnt told how the lockers work but another guest showed me. Lunch was very poor !! Chicken Wraps with salad , supposed to be chicken on them but was literally 2 tiny bits that you couldn't really taste for £14 each , also supposed to be ceaser salad dressing on my husbands there wasnt ! salad on plate was miminal and definitely not worth the money . Treatment by Helen was good though. Would we return .... NO
