Excellent date night experience all around! We arrived a touch past our reservation time, but the staff was gracious and seated us immediately. Very friendly, with the perfect level of attentiveness, not hovering (like is typical in the US, but not ignored either. For starters,we tried the Duck Parcel (AMAZING!) and the Pigeon Breast (also Amazing!) Then moved on to the Main Entrees. I had the Pork Belly, while my wife had the Sea Bass. DELICIOUS! We finished the meal off with a Bailey's Creme Brulee and a Roasted Vanilla Cheesecake. The Creme Brulee was my wife's first, and she loved it. The Cheesecake was excellent as well. All in all, a perfect evening, in a cozy, friendly atmosphere, with great service and food. Highly recommended, and can't wait to go back!

Been wanting to go here for a while now. Food well presented, although we thought there could be more choices on the menu. We enjoyed the meal we ordered. Restaurant quiet on the Sunday we visited, unable to order Sunday lunch as had gone past the time slot.

A great family Sunday lunch. Plenty of gluten free options for those that require. This place is popular so booking is essential! Lovely area for walks also.

Service was not very good. We arrived and we told the kitchen was running behind, which was fine. But they didn’t offer us any drinks, or even looking at the menu which is why service is 1 star because that had nothing to do with the kitchen. And on top of that some other people came in after us. They got a menu and drinks and their food came before us. But on the plus side the food was actually decent.

We hired a garden pod for an early evening meal as part of our mini-moon. We were greeted by Matt who showed us to the pod. The pod was lovely and clean. Candles were lit and the music system was a nice touch. We order scallops and the bakes duck parcel to start. They were lovely. The duck parcel was a generous size but the scallops were to die for! For main we had the sirloin steak and lamb rump. Again, both delicious but the steak was the best my husband has had in years. For dessert we had a sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and the Eton mess from the specials board. Both really nice. The service from Matt and Thomas was the best customer service we’ve ever had (including from a Michelin Star establishment!). They were friendly and attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Couldn’t recommend this place enough - definitely worth the money!

Lovely Christmas meal here! The pod was absolutely brilliant, it was a perfect size, had its own heater and we streamed our Christmas songs through the radio inside. The food was delicious, we all loved our meals, couldn't fault anything. We had the duck parcels, terrine, soup, Roast Turkey and Pork belly for mains and a great selection of deserts. Ollie who looked after us was very attentive and a credit to the team here. We are very much looking forward to having our Christmas meal here again next Christmas!

We booked a pod for a birthday dinner. Food was amazing! Steak was cooked to perfection and service was excellent! Just enough service but not too much :) Highly reccomend!

We dined in one of the domes here which was magical and atmospheric. The food was absolutely gorgeous, especially the main courses, and the service was wonderful. I can't wait to come back!

A very nice pub offering excellent food. The dining area is cosy with a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, providing good service. The prices are reasonable. There is space for dining outside, in the back garden. There are also a few pods at the rear garden for those who prefer to have a more private area for dining. Overall a great place.

The fish on the specials menu and the leg of lamb were cooked to perfection! Paid extra for booking the pod and here’s why you lost a star.. the music box in the pod was busted, the batteries in the tiny tree decor needed replacement, hence unlit..and the table candle remained unlit as well. The pod was too warm and the temperature controls didn’t work. We had to keep the window cracked throughout. Not nitpicking, but if someone pays extra for booking a pod, the least that can be done is to perform a quick check prior to the service. The sticky toffee pudding was scrumptious, though! Will be back.. but not for the pod.

We cycled from st Ives and popped in on the way back glad we did. Sat outside beautiful garden the sun was shining. The staff so friendly. We had a 2 course lunch excellent value it was fantastic loved it. We would definitely visit again.

Ate here this evening. I just wanted to give a shout out to the staff. 3 people on and it was unusually busy for a Thursday but everyone was ace. The young lady who served us was fab and very attentive even though she was incredibly busy. It's an excellent pub, with great food and a spot on vibe. Thanks guys!

Excellent service, food was very good, well cooked and presented, good ambience, seating and decor. This will be a regular dining spot on future UK visits.

We went on a cold and snowy Wednesday lunchtime. Consequently the pub was fairly quiet but warm and welcoming, with an open fire. The staff were friendly and familiar with the menu. I had chestnut arancini, celeriac schnitzel and Aogato An enjoyable meal; I'd like to got there again - possibly on a warmer sunnier day

Only stopped for a beer and had a great choice of 3 real Ales. The restaurant was humming inside, and there were also plenty of tables outside including two covered Covid pods for external dining. I was a shame I did not stop for lunch.

The food here was really really good! The staff were very friendly but not over bearing which is great! I highly recommend eating here!

Fantastic dining pod, the best I've been to. Ben was very accomodating, pleasant and helpful. Kids loved the food. Booking through the website showed some of the times as unavailable but call up if your preferred time isn't showing as there seemed to be some issue with the booking system. Great place and lovely staff.

We attended the Vegan night and omg I'm so glad we did! The food was exquisite and very good value. Service was also amazing - such a lovely evening. Really hope that more vegan nights happen as we will be sure to attend them! Thank you :-)

This is a lovely pub, with a great menu. We had Sunday lunch, and there was plenty of very nicely cooked beef, the yorkshires were enormous and there was plenty of beautifully cooked veg. The only problem I had was that it was spoiled by being only lukewarm. We hope to revisit sometime during the week when it's less busy.

Great choice of beers and very knowledgeable barman. Had a drink in the cosy comfy bar. Then into restaurant side (separate room) and 4 of us enjoyed a fabulous tasty well cooked 3 course.. delicious. Served by lovely friendly staff. Would definitely recommend

Amazing experience in the Pod, attentive staff, even though we were not in the main restaurant. food and wine was incredible, would highly recommend. heating in the pod is perfect for a winters meal and there is even a Bluetooth speaker that you can connect your own music to.

Fantastic lunch experience! We booked one of the pods and the service was attentive and the food excellent. Brilliant experience and we are looking forward to returning soon!
