Best lunch ever in CT! It is not far away from Yale campus and it has a parking lot! The food tasted so great and not expensive! The grilled calamari was so delicious!

The Good: Restaurant is clean and presentable. Nice selection of “Spanish” dishes. The Bad: * Calamares a la plancha looked good but was awful. The squid was like rubber and the dish lacked flavor. Had to send it back. * Gambas al Ajillo is not traditional and nothing like what you get in Spain. Why not just prepare it the way it’s supposed to be prepared. (Olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, shrimp). Simple! * Seafood Paella was ok but dish was over cooked. (So much so that the muscles were crunchy on the inside). Looked like it sat under a heat lamp for too long. * Service - we hardly saw our server. Restaurant has two tables occupied and our server was nowhere to be found. Food took a very long time to be delivered despite the fact that the restaurant was empty. Overall, sorry but I would not recommend this restaurant. Disappointing given previous reviews.

Class wouldn’t even be the word to best describe this place. The food, the staff, the experience was absolutely divine and everything you need if you want to feel like you’re on a vacation abroad without leaving the state. Everything was so fresh and we were left feeling completely satisfied and fulfilled. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something you can’t get anywhere else!!

Had a lovely evening at this Spanish bistro in East Haven. Courteous service, dimly lit intimate atmosphere, tasty dishes with generous portion sizes. Would visit again.

We enjoyed our lunch, with some excellent food. Perfect cooking, beautiful and copious plates, tasty seafood and tender meat. Friendly and attentive staff, fast service and reasonable prices. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the neighborhood!

I usually only review with a really negative experience, only to caution others. I eat many unpleasurable meals without comment. I had the New York steak, it was on par with the best steaks I've ever eaten. The potatoes were plain cut potatoes, but some how amazing. I've spent far more for much less of a tasty meal. This restaurant is amazing and isn't competing with the finest, their competing with it. Dollar value??, it's cheaper than the most expensive meal I've had, yet on par (or better) for taste.

The waiter and chef were very good about me ordering vegan. I ordered something that came with balsamic vinaigrette, which the waiter informed me had egg. The chef made a new vinaigrette for me which was very considerate. Not to mention the meal was great! I would come here again.

Tried not to leave a negative review but, I also think that you can expect some sort of standard when you go out to eat. Unfortunately, the standard at this restaurant was very poor. Where do I start? Having entered the restaurant, we had to wait a long while to be greeted and seated, when finally a in a very unprofessional manner waiter begrudgingly seated us. He barely made eye contact, no pleasantries-we had to ask for water and he never checked on us for beverages-stay away ! Portions are very small , bartender was rude and loud we could hear him in the next room. Food is mediocre we had two children and the waiter could care less when we asked about child portions-it was a Saturday night out Never ever again - it’s a miracle this place remains open

If youre looking for a quality meal with excellent service with live music this is the place to go! Personally a huge fan of their steak and seafoods! The wine pairing were also very spot on! Definitely going back again.

Excellent 1st experience visiting Bistro. The food was amazing and the service fantastic. A few small hiccups, but the staff made up for it quickly and appropriately. Highly recommend the croquettes - best I've had! Ambience was excellent and outdoor seating was available. Very clean and welcoming. Definitely will return and highly recommend!

Went here for a bridal shower and I will be back. Great cozy atmosphere and the food was phenomenal! The tres leche cake was amazing!

Beautiful restaurant, delicious food! Amazing staff who made us feel very welcome when our plane was delayed 3 hours and we hung out there most of our delay. Highly recommended!

Ambience is very good. Waiters are very nice and polite. Pasta and crab cake were below standards. Would have expected better looking at the ratings.

I recently wanted some Seafood close to where I was visiting. I stumbled upon Bistro Mediterranean Saturday, and it didn't disappoint. The dish I ordered had fresh Shrimp,Bay Scallops, Flat noodles, Topped with parmesan cheese. The dish was delicious!

Everything was awesome. It's not really even a complaint as much as a touristy not knowing, but lunch service is timed more like dinner service. The staff were amazing and we ate outside with my dog. I Love Mediterranean food and these guys REALLLY do an amazing job. I will go out of my way if we travel anywhere near here to eat again. The octopus was cooked perfect, and the artichoke app was on point, I could have made that a meal all on my own as well. Finished with tiramisu that was made perfectly and flan which was a generous portion. Highly recommend!

Went with friends to celebrate 2 birthdays. We were chatting and having such a great time I forgot to take pictures of the food. Started with some tapas then the Lobster Bisque, which was very tasty. We tried our best to stay away from the bread but we had seconds because it was so good. Seafood Paella was loaded with everything on a bed of very tasty rice - if you love rice make sure you request extra serving because it’s literally just a bed of rice. I was fine with the amount of rice, one of my friends fussed that it should be more (she loves rice!). Host Claudio was very friendly and funny.

First time. Excellent food, fantastic service and a friendly crowd. Highly recommend the paella and flank steak. Both cooked to perfection

My new favorite spot. Excellent food selections...Great quality and portions....I had the seafood grill special and it was superb. Recommend the garlic shrimp as well... Bread was so fresh too...! The drinks were good, the martini I had was a little to sweet though... I should have adjusted that...Otherwise it was good.
