Im
only
reviewing
based
on
kids
activities
-
we
did
the
junior
membership
for
about
2
years,
and
I
will
say
that
the
fact
they
offer
a
membership
only
for
kids
is
more
budget-friendly
We
started
with
semi-private
swim
lessons
and
I
can’t
say
enough
good
things
about
that
program,
the
instructor
was
wonderful,
and
my
kids
gained
the
confidence
they
needed
to
become
very
strong
swimmers.
They
were
all
flexible,
communicative,
friendly
and
wonderful
Next
we
did
gymnastics
for
younger
kids
(6
&
8)
and
it
was
fine.
The
people
who
run
that
program
were
equally
communicative
and
friendly.
The
young
girls
who
actually
led
the
class
were
ok
-
I
wasn’t
super
impressed
by
them
but
it’s
a
class
for
little
kids
so
I
also
didn’t
have
too
many
expectations.
The
older
kid
programs
did
seem
super
impressive,
and
the
smaller
class
sizes
compared
to
other
similar
programs
in
the
area
are
great.
When
my
kids
lost
interest
in
gymnastics
we
tried
out
karate
which
they
were
very
excited
to
start.
About
a
month
in
they
HATED
going
and
it
became
a
fight.
It
just
didn’t
seem
like
the
people
running
that
program
knew
how
to
inject
fun
and
inspiration
into
a
program
for
young
kids.
Parents
also
weren’t
allowed
to
watch
(more
of
a
space
issue
which
is
totally
fair)
-
but
they
also
didn’t
organize
anything
so
parents
could
see
the
progress
their
kids
were
making
which
was
frustrating.
I
had
my
kids
stay
in
the
program
until
they
earned
their
belts,
thinking
the
accomplishment
might
reignite
their
excitement,
but
it
didn’t.
It
also
took
them
3
weeks
to
get
the
belt
after
passing
the
test
which,
for
young
kids,
is
pretty
disappointing.
My
younger
son
was
already
leaving
the
program,
so
I
offered
to
donate
his
belt
to
the
program
since
I
knew
it
would
only
gather
dust
at
our
house
-
to
which
I
was
met
with
a
dismissive
response
and
they
didn’t
want
it.
They
also
didn’t
allow
the
kids
water
breaks
during
the
45
minute
class
which
I
have
mixed
feelings
about.
Last,
we
did
Summer
Camp.
My
kids
hated
it.
You
can
do
a
la
carte
days
which
is
very
budget
friendly.
They
have
a
pool,
which
I
thought
would
be
great.
My
son
(who
took
swimming
lessons
at
Shrewsbury
club)
didn’t
pass
the
swim
test.
My
other
son
refused
to
even
try
all
summer.
Rather
than
being
encouraged
to
try
again
by
staff,
my
kids
seemed
completely
disheartened
&
didn’t
try
all
summer
-
so
they
missed
out
on
that
all
summer
and
while
I
hold
my
kids
responsible
to
try,
I
also
feel
like
staff
discouraged
and
made
the
kids
feel
judged.
My
son
got
a
big
bump
on
his
head
(it
happens)
and
mom
received
a
phone
call
as
they
were
following
concussion
protocols,
but
she
wasn’t
available
to
answer.
Dad
(who
was
doing
90%
of
the
drop
off
and
pick
up)
received
no
phone
call.
When
mom
finally
was
able
to
return
the
clubs
call
she
asked
if
Dad
had
been
contacted
&
when
Sarah
said
no,
Mom
requested
that
if
this
happens
in
the
future
to
please
make
sure
to
contact
2nd
parent
if
1st
parent
doesn’t
answer.
Was
met
with
a
dismissive
response
again,
and
wasn’t
notified
of
his
many
injuries
until
e.o.d.
One
time
my
son
forgot
his
water
bottle,
and
again
-
no
parent
was
called
to
bring
one,
and
we
learned
that
again
kids
are
not
given
water
breaks
throughout
the
day
to
go
to
a
water
fountain
or
just
reminded
to
drink
water
because
they’re
children.
They’re
expected
to
just
always
have
water
bottles
&
drink.
Also,
when
my
son
told
counselors
he
was
thirsty
he
was
dismissed
-
not
allowed
to
go
to
a
water
fountain
or
given
an
extra
or
parents
called
to
bring
his
forgotten
water
bottle
-
but
told
to
go
sit
down
or
join
back
in
whatever
activity
he
was
doing.
My
children
came
home
with
tons
of
similar
stories
of
counselors
just
being
rude
and
dismissive
to
the
kids,
including
1
counselor
calling
another
kid
a
cry
baby
which
was
corroborated
by
multiple
children
(a
bunch
of
mom
friends
signed
up
all
our
kids
for
camp
so
they’d
have
a
fun
summer
together).
Overall,
it
seemed
like
poorly
managed
teenagers
with
not
a
great
morale
running
this
summer
camp,
and
bringing
up
concerns
marks
you
as
“difficult”
