I visited the church hoping to see the tomb of Mary Tudor, once briefly Queen of France and a beloved sister to King Henry VIII. Had she lived longer, she may have put a break on her brothers excesses and tyranny. Anyway, we were not allowed to see the tomb, the church is only open for prayer. We were graciously and generously allowed to walk up the central aisle and down again, but not allowed due to "government restrictions" to proceed any further. As Queen Mary opposed the reformation and died in the old faith, perhaps this church could do the old queen a favour and relieve itself of the burden of holding this tomb, by releasing it to a church that would be more in keeping with Queen Mary's faith, a church that would be happy for people to come and meditate on the mysteries of God, history and humanity.

Gorgeous ceilings with angels peering down in the nave. The star of David commemorated in the Stainglass brings in the reminder of the beginning of Christianity. Volunteers to help answer your questions. Terms and memorials place throughout and on the floor.

This is a wonderful church next to the cathedral, very nice volunteer at the entrance gave us a quick summary of the church and leaflet to help us self guide around the church, the Suffolk Regiment Chapel was of interest to me as it was the forerunner of my Regiment which is now part of the Chapel,
