We are visiting Boston and went here as a party of 6 to celebrate my colleagues birthday. We enjoyed the ambiance and the cocktails were exceptionally good. The food was amazing, very fresh, well cooked and great presentation. I particularly enjoyed the Oysters, the stuffed zucchini flower and surf and turf appetizers; as well as the Salmon dish. I stole a truffle fry or two from my colleagues plate and loved it. The service was definitely fast and efficient, but I would have rated another star if the staff were more friendly. The booking experience by phone was not pleasant, this almost caused us to walk away. Our server, Giuseppe, was no different. But we noticed none of the servers ever smiled at patrons; and we were very taken aback by this. Our Server had the same bedside manner, as he didn’t greet us warmly or introduce himself. In fact, I had to request his name. He was not very helpful when we had questions and didn’t guide us correctly when we requested a cheese plate for 4, but ended up with two cheese plates big enough to feed 10. Overall, I’ll say this location is a gem of a find and I will return because the food was great . I hope to have better service next time.

Will definitely come back! Me and my girlfriend were wandering around looking for a seafood restaurant and we got VERY rude initial service at Neptune Oyster and Union Oyster House to the point we felt unwanted and uncomfortable and just got up and left. Feeling frustrated, I noticed Mare was opening at 4pm so I quickly made a day-of reservation. When we got there we weren't sure where to wait until they opened so we asked a staff member at the door and they were SO much nicer and accommodating compared to the other places. Then a front of house host or GM happily and politely invited us to sit down early. We got great service in a beautiful patio section from a waitress with long light hair and glasses. Food was very well presented and cooked and the drinks were good. We'll see you again soon!

Scallop appetizer was flavorful and tender. Swordfish entree was tasty. Ribeye was ordered medium rare, but came out medium to medium well and was tough to cut with the steak knife and to chew. Service was excellent. Complimentary bread and olives were nice touches. There is a lovely store in the back of the restaurant where customers can buy drinks and food to go. My friend and I plan on coming back. Call the restaurant and ask about the affordable parking deals if you are driving.

I’ve only come here for restaurant week and the service was good even on a busy night, but the food was alright. A lot of the food was kind of bland/didn’t have a lot of flavor, like the steak and pasta. The seafood was good though (as expected from an oyster bar). I would recommend them for the seafood, but maybe not for steak.

Good food but subpar service. Front of house staff were fine; however, our server was less than happy to serve us. He was not friendly and also rushed to get our orders, every time he made eye contact, he was glaring. Aside from that, the oysters, burrata, and pastas that we got were great, good flavours and fresh ingredients.

From start to finish this place was incredible! Service was excellent and the food was outstanding! It all came out in a very timely manor and presented beautifully! We ordered drinks that were expected to be spicy but were underwhelming, so we requested them to be spicier the next round and they Delivered! Then we sat in the Open rooftop because it was a Gorgeous sunny day but there was a drastic temperature drop since our arrival, and when we asked to have it closed off, they did not hesitate to accommodate! Everyone left full and happy! That’s for certain! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some really great food in a very romantic atmosphere! I know we will definitely be back

Mare is always a first choice when dining in the North End in the summer. The views of the city on the patio as a backdrop to your meal are impeccable. The food was all delicious and very punctual. It was a nice combination between seafood and Italian. Server could have more friendly and seemed slightly annoyed with any questions. Despite that, Highly recommend when in the Boston area.

Unfortunately, not impressed. The prices are expensive for taste and quality of the food. More specifically, I ordered the special of the day, .......the sole fish fillet. I wish the food was more flavorful with seasoning. On a positive note, the atmosphere is perfect for a date night out.

OpenTable only showed reservations for 5:45 and 8:15 for the prime hour options, so we picked 8:15. Walking by at 7:45, we noticed quite a few open tables, so I asked the hostess if there were open tables to seat us or we can walk around more and wait. She said yes, then took us in the bar and offered a table by the stairs or by the patio. We said patio please. She then picked a table in the bar, but by the patio so we got no bar A/C, no rooftop draft, but heat from the fireside tables. I asked her if we can sit at one of the 7 2-tops I saw open on the patio. She smiled and said no. Our server was nice and pleasant. The food seemed slightly undercook as the risotto was still a bit firm and the Cacio E Pepe was not al dente, but still hard in the center of the noodle. Oysters were nice and fresh and drinks were tasty. After finishing our meal, 5 of the 7 tables never got sat on the patio. So instead of enjoying a nice $300 meal with my wife, we were sitting elbows length to a 4 top (the tables are set for 4+2 in case of 6 top). Close enough that the guy at the next table played footsies with me twice. We laughed it off, but definitely not the dining experience we were hoping for with this place being recommended by a local friend. We left the appropriate 20% tip because the service was fine, but definitely will not be back or can recommend this establishment.

Went for a birthday dinner. The oyster bar was really nice. The outside dining is nice but also directly abut to the highway. Staff was standout. Very attentive.

  • 4/5 Junia F. 5 years ago on Google
Sophisticated vibe. I recommend you sit by the fire pit as oppose to the bar. The staff is friendly and polite. Ordered the lobster roll and was not disappointed. I have had lobster rolls as good as these, but cheaper. The fries were tasty! It is located in a easy to miss ally way, apart from where the other restaurants on the block are. I would come back to this spot to hang out, snack lightly on food and enjoy the atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I took both of our mothers here for a special trip to Boston for my mother's birthday. Despite making a note in our reservation that it was her birthday, there was no mention of it during dinner from the staff. We made a 7:45 reservation, ordered a bottle of wine upon arrival, some appetizers and soup, and a round of oysters. The oysters and soup were a hit but unfortunately all of the entrees that came next were a total miss. At $30 a dish, one wouldn't expect outrageously overcooked shrimp, rubbery calamari and watery sauce. Just as we received our entrees, we were told the kitchen would be closing. Shortly after that, the restaurant was empty aside from us, and we felt like we were being rushed out the door by the staff long before their 9:30 closing time. Overall a very underwhelming experience for what was supposed to be a special night. Skip the entrees here and stick to oysters and wine.

Cute little spot for dinner. Definitely liked the outside patio with the firepit. Wasnt crazy about the food. I love traditional italian food and what we ordered seemed to have a pretty contemporary twist that I wasnt a fan of. I went with my boyfriend and best friend and we didnt love any of the entrees. However the oysters were phenomenal. Drinks were pretty good. Nothing amazing. Plenty other restaurants Ive had way better food at in the north end, especially for the price. Id probably give it a second chance though!

I googled where to get the best sandwiches in Boston, and this place did not lie. They have sandwiches from tons of chefs all over Boston, probably one of the best sandwich menus I've ever seen. And a really solid draft and bottled beer menu. A++ would nom again.

I had been here for a friend's birthday and had ordered The Alden to eat and Blood Orange quencher to go with it. The food was nice, the sandwich was a little on the dry side and the drink a little too sour for my taste, but the lovely staff made up for it. Ended the meal with the White Chocolate Bread Pudding. Lovely dinner! I would definitely recommend the place.

A very famous, and therefore jam-packed, restaurant, right in the middle of Boylston. Visited this restaurant without any early reservations (not sure if they take any) and irrespective of being so crowded, we got a table just within 5 minutes. The seating is kind of congested but the food and ambience compensates for it. We ordered the Eggplant Milanesa and Smoke Shop Tofu and both the dishes were served with a salad on the side. The Smoke Shop Tofu had an edge over the other sandwich but overall loved the taste of food. The service provided was very friendly and quick. Would surely recommend a visit to the Parish Cafe.

This place is ✨perfect✨ !! Great vegetarian options, great service, and delicious food! It’s a classic fancy Italian place with a great view of Boston surrounded by beautiful little Italy. It’s a bit pricey, but that’s expected here and it feels like a worthy splurge. Also, the mushroom pasta is TO DIE FOR!! ❤️❤️ the truffle and mushroom is ✨immaculate

Have dined 4 times—get more disappointed each time. It’s a shame, because they have pasta AND a raw bar, which not every North End restaurant has. Back on March 1, we were charged $8 for still water when asked, “sparkling or still?”. When I called in after our meal, the manager later clarified that staff are trained to ask “sparkling, still, or tap?”. Boston won Best Tap Water 2014; I don’t need a bottle of Acqua Panna. Dined again for DineOut/Restaurant Week today and received medium well steak (partner asked for medium), two un-risen soufflés (you could taste every grit of almond flour, and the entire dessert had the uniform texture of fudge sauce—angling the cup would’ve tipped the contents out). Clam strips appear to reducing in portion size with each visit as well; we ordered these a la carte outside of the DineOut prix fixe. Manager offered to replace our desserts with something else; we declined—not worth another 20 minute wait after our entrees were cleared. I understand soufflés are typically made to order; we ordered ahead at the start of our meal. Half dozen “chef’s choice” oysters were all Chathams. Decent size and good if you don’t like overly briny species. Go for the lobster bisque, ragu pappardelle, and choose your own selection of oysters. Fire pit ambience is much more enjoyable than the <6 ft apart tables.

My daughter made a reservation for my birthday and what an incredible experience! The space was beautiful and it’s tucked away from the bustle of the north end. Our waiter was wonderful. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. They even sent over a complimentary dessert for my birthday. I thought the service was exceptional and we will definitely be back.

Small little spot tucked away down a little alley. I definitely recommend making a reservation as it was packed on a weekday for dinner. I was lucky enough to be able to find a seat at the bar. Great selection of oysters and cold appetizers. I wanted to order the special but unfortunately they were out so I went with the warm lobster roll. Had a great time and the bartender was so sweet.

4 of us had two drinks each, shared one dozen oysters, had the sole special, tuna, and swordfish. The sole was very bland but the other two dishes were great and so was the appetizer. Our waiter unfortunately had an attitude and not very pleasant. There was a large dog at the table next to us who licked my elbow and put his head on our table a couple of time. That was weird. Total bill was $370 before tip. Bring your wallet.

Great service and the food was absolutely delicious! We had the Tagliatelle Con Aragosta and the Mare Lobster Roll. The pasta was perfectly cooked and had large chunks of lobster in it. The lobster roll was great too; perfectly seasoned and was full of lobster. It came with a side of crispy fries and a tiny glass bottle of ketchup. It was on the pricier side but each dish came with so much food that I think it's worth the price. The servers were super nice too; not too pushy but attentive.

A favorite in Boston. Can't say enough great things about Mare. The service, food and atmosphere is phenomenal; all while tucked away in the heart of bustling Hanover St. The portions are always significant and prepared well. The olives, roasted garlic, olive oil and bread at the table is amazing! Ask for the scallops with angel hair pasta. It was taken off the menu but is to die for.

Excellent Italian restaurant in the North End Boston. As an Italian I found the food very authentic and delicious. It’s a must-ho place if you are in Boston. Also, the neighborhood is really nice and reminds me of Italy with those little grocery stores.

Quick Review Mr. Michele B. Is a great server/waiter and deserves the best! Pros: - Offers outside dining with somewhat a good view - Superb service - Great dishes! -Outdoor dining (during pandemic) Cons: -cost but it's well worth the price - street parking Detail Review: This is a great a romantic place to go, the view is not bad but it creates a great atmosphere. The dishes are unami, aka it's close your eyes good!

3.75 - 4 stars ~ Great food. Like the oysters at here. Wish they offer some west coast oysters. Tight seating space. Might end up rubbing elbow with the next table. The fish entree at Mare is delicious and well prepared. Cook just right.

Romantic gem hidden off of the main alley with outdoor seating and a starry view. This Italian seafood restaurant is a must see, with large portion and candle lit tables it is the perfect location for a date night. Lobster bisque is to die for but very rich and could be a meal in its own unless you are sharing it with your significant other. Absolutely must eat the oysters.... High end options that are fresh and full of flavor.

Excellent little place in the north end. Oysters were fresh and delicious!! I wish they would stick with more traditional Italian flavors though with their food. It had a different taste i wasn't expecting. From the North end I'm expecting complete Italian flavors.

The atmosphere at this place was really nice. Me and my husband went for our anniversary dinner after being recommended by a friend. Upon arrival we were going to be seated inside to which the hostess said there was no outside seating available at the time, but there was 4 tables right outside the restaurant empty. Eventually my husband asked if we could sit there and they were like "oh sure!" Which I was confused why that wasn't brought up when I initially asked to sit outside. Husband ordered rack of lamb and a few of the pieces were rare inside and inedible. It was nice and the food wasn't bad but when I asked my husband the best part of his meal he said the French fries and bread. Which I feel like shouldn't be the case for a place selling rack of lamb for $50.

Lately mare service has gone down hill. Especially with the hostess, who doesn’t decide to greet me until 5 minutes later. The place got over booked, our reservation was at 9:45, and they kept saying 10 minutes, other people came after us and got seated before us. It was a long wait for people outside and we ended being one of the last people to still wait 45 min later. We kept asking why we are being skipped and ignored. They started stuttering and looking saying the people that came after us had reservations before us, but how would they know when to come back and wait if they don’t contact you that your table is ready. After 45 min of waiting we gave up. They should work better on being attentive to people and be organized.

Food was great as usual. Service was great to start and was lacking once dinners were delivered. Overall experience would have been outstanding if management was better: two patrons that clearly did not meet Mare's own advertised dress code were seated near us. The gentleman in the aforementioned party was wearing sweatpants, a novelty t-shirt, and untied basketball sneakers.....doesn't seem to classify as 'business casual' to me! The same gentleman proceed to use the bathroom 4 times in one hour, coming out higher on drugs every time to the point where he could barley remain conscious and was nodding off. Not quite the atmosphere I was looking for or would expect from Mare while dropping over two hundred dollars on a dinner for two. Management needs to do their job.

A notch above "standard" American Italian. The seafood pasta dishes with a glass of wine are classic. Dishes tend to be large enough to share. The cocktails are on the pricy side for what they offer

  • 4/5 B H. 4 years ago on Google
Food was very good nice ambience with a fire pit /fire place with seating. Scallops were cooked perfectly the fish was amazing with the skin crispy. Bathroom was nice and clean service was awesome. Cons PARKING it's very bad they will ticket you and allot of resident parking and confusing signs. Hard to find it's down an alley with lack luster signage. Definitely would go again but uber in.

The concept is fascinating, with accessible prices. It was hard to choose which sandwich I wanted, but I went with a sandwich associated with my #1 restaurant in Boston: Sarma. The ingredient combo sounded delicious. The first half of the sandwich was wonderful. The second half...not so much. The prosciutto was painfully dry, and the limited aioli was not enough. Found myself chugging water. That being said, I'm intrigued (and wallet isn't hurting) and will go back.

Flavorful food with lots of variety...fun concept to the menu. Meatloaf club was a perfectly piled sandwich with fresh ingredients. The meatloaf could have been warmer but was seasoned well. The potaotes that came with it lacked seasoning though. Atmosphere fun but a little loud.

I have always loved parish cafe. Amazing sandwiches and they always get good amazing chefs from the Boston area to help create unique sandwiches. Here's one from Tiffani Faison (sweet cheeks, Top Chef) which is the pork burger. VERY spicy!! Could have used a smidge more coleslaw to temper the heat.

The seating is tight here at the parish cafe. They have a very eclectic menu with many sandwiches that are offered. They have a menu inspired by great chefs in local area. Great serving size with the sandwiches. They also have a great offering for beers, so many craft beer options. I would say the only downside is the sandwiches are really quite messy.

I loved the beer selection as well as the menu choices! Neither was overwhelming, but each was large enough to make me feel like I had a choice. Also, sides are predetermined which I wasn't sure about but I absolutely LOVED my potato salad...and I'm from the Midwest so I know what good potato salad tastes like!

Food is good but very limited choice. Poor and inflexible service

Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. Each sandwich has a unique flavor profile and the portion size is great. Come early as it does fill up quite quickly for lunch.

Great food, a bit noisy, a bit expensive. Stopped in for a quick bite on a cold night before an appointment, had potato leek soup - which was delicious, but was charged for a piece of bread on the side. I might not have minded too much, but the bread was mediocre, like the spongey type made in a bread-maker, not a flavorful crusty bread that is so delicious with soup. Just my .02. The wine was good!

Sandwiches are the best! Can't go wrong with the salads or wings either. But really great place, fun atmosphere, bar staff is great! Highly recommend - especially summer with the patio!

The host (male) on January 1st (at night) was super rude. The waitress was nice. Food and the place was nice, but That host gotta go.

With an excellent variety of craft brews, Parish is a great hangout spot without being too crowded (at least at 6pm the Saturday I visited). Their menu is mostly small eats, but their sandwiches (crafted by several area chefs) are filling and flavorful. Some of their offerings can range a bit pricey, but just read the ingredients to find out why. You can still find a solid, simple turkey sandwich for the average rate.

CLIFF NOTES: I TRIED ALL 19 PARISH CAFE SANDWICHES AND RANKED THEM BELOW In December 2018, two friends embarked on a daunting journey...a journey to try every sandwich on the Parish Café Menu. Though many called them crazy for going to a single restaurant so many times, they didn't let the haters distract them from persevering and finally achieving their goal, 3 months later. I am now here today to tell our story and share our ultimate, undisputed rankings of all 19 Parish Café sandwiches (though really this is up to personal preference so feel free to dispute it). Okay folks so I wrote my first review about Parish Cafe and gave it a 5, which I don't give that often. This place is unassuming, has a cafe feel, and serves the humble sandwich, but it earns its 5 stars. The service is great, the prices are reasonable given the portion size, and I have never left her feeling unhappy. I said it in my first review and I'll say it again. I love how this place elevates the sandwich and has 19 different ones created by different chefs around the city. I know I joked about going to the same restaurant so many times above but in going to this restaurant, you are almost getting a taste of Boston by trying the different sandwiches created by the different chefs of Boston. With that said, I would like to share my ranking of all 19 sandwiches based on my personal preference (plus pictures of every single one). I also had the bread pudding which is PHENOMENAL. A few caveats: I should first say that what I like is not necessarily going to be what everyone else likes so please know that. Two sandwiches below have horseradish cream and bleu cheese which set them way back for me because I don't like either of those things. I am also a big meat eater so I am inherently biased against the meatless sandwiches (and you will find most of those at the bottom of the ranking). I will also not judge sandwiches based on their sides...the sandwiches either come with potato chips, potato salad, cole slaw, or mixed greens and to be (somewhat) healthy, my friend often just went with the mixed greens. We did try all the sides and enjoyed them all but mixed greens were our go-to. I love onions, especially grilled, caramelized, or pickled so if a sandwich had one of this, it had an unfair advantage In general, I will also try and tell you if each sandwich is for when you're in the mood for something heavy or something light. You'll also find that I leaned more heavily (pun intended) towards the heavier sandwiches and that's also based on personal preference. Would love to hear your thoughts! 1. The Bravas 2. The Fully Committed 3. The Mistral 4. The DBar 5. The Hot & Dirty Pig Burger 6. The Meatloaf Club 7. The Mexican Meatball 8. The Daily Grind 9. The Spaceboy Shawarma 10. The Zuni Roll 11. The Eggplant Milanese 12. The Parish Chicken 13. The Spicy Tuna Burger 14. The Flour BLT 15. The Kenneth 16. The Bondir Brisket 17. Steak and Blue 18. The Smoke Shop Tofu 19. The Alden Hope this is helpful and please do check out the link above for the full ranking and my reasoning.

Delicious food and drinks for a birthday dinner! Spicy margarita was delicious and actually spicy! Scallop appetizer with bacon wrapped asparagus was amazing! I ate the truffle seared tuna and absolutely loved it. If you are looking for a great seafood meal in the heart of the north end, you cannot go wrong with Mare. I will definitely be back.

Had an exceptional night out with my team at Mare. The atmosphere was too notch with a nice outdoor area with fire pits. The service was exactly what you would expect from a high end establishment. Our server was courteous, knowledgeable and gave good recommendations. The food was absolutely incredible. Our table had oysters, caviar, salmon, lamb and lobster and all of it was delicious. I was very impressed with Mare and I cannot wait to go back to Boston so I can return.

The tan guy with the crazy eyes and the accent was a total jerk. We got 400 worth of food man. The filet was delicious but his whole attitude ruined the vibe. The brussel sprouts were awesome too. It’s sad because I usually take one star off for bad service when the foods good but his attitude was unacceptable. I think he was just a host or a doorman. Our wait staff was great.

The best place to eat fish in boston in the authentic Italian style. Cozy place, great vibe and seating available around the fire. Good drinks but the best is definitely the food. Oyster bar has the best oysters you can eat in Boston. The mix seafood grill is an amazing experience every time (I didn’t eat this time, but it is my favorite plate). Good service … little bit noisy in the winter due to the tend on the outside seating but great view in the summer with the full boston skyline.

Modern seafood restaurant with an Italian touch. Got a reservation a few hours before our visit, and we were seated in the outdoor terrace which had a nice relaxing vibe. I liked that we got a corner seat with less foot traffic, but was shocked to find out we were only few feet away from the trash room with an open door. The appetizer bread was good and a side of pesto sauce made it feel more Italian. Grilled octopus was extremely soft and tender and the sautéed eggplant on the side blended perfectly well with it. Crudo trio on the other hand was just few pieces of sashimi with seaweed salad which was quite underwhelming. Buttery touch in the risotto di mare worked as a great mediator between the slight bitterness from seafood and saltiness. Truffle crusted tuna was also presented with beautiful texture and sprinkles of coarse sea salt enhanced its flavors. However, clam linguine was just average. Overall, this would be a great place for a casual hangout spot than a date night. There were certainly menus that were impressive, but their service was average at best as the servers were quite hard to reach sometimes.

Small but cute, food was great! Only problem we were seated in the covered outdoor area where the cool air was coming from under the plastic cover; I asked for a different table and they seated us next to the front door🙄 thats why I gave it 3 stars

Really cool atmosphere and great food. I feel like the prices are a tad elevated for what you get just on a meal standpoint. Everything is great, but where you really get your moneys worth is in the great service and cool decor. I hope to come back, but I plan on trying some other dishes and hope to find something else I like. Don't get me wrong the food is great! I think maybe I just didn't get a dish I resonated with. Will update my review when I return.

arrived with a group of 5 from work without a reservation. they put a table together in the front, and we were seated quickly. from the beginning of the experience, we had issues with the service. our waiter was constantly serving the table next to us, with complete disregard for our table. fully understand that reservation table should come first, however if you don't have the staff to accommodate additional tables, don't take them. however, this place has more staff than people. all around us were waiters and staff not doing anything. our first drink order, 3 out of the 5 drinks were correct. that was corrected, and then the staff was gone again. we had to ask an a different staff member to order appetizers, who had to flag our waiter. after again flagging down a staff member to order food, and flagging down someone to order another round of drinks, again 3 out of 5 orders were correct. for the 3 people that had food, the meal was exceptional. for the one that had to wait 45 minutes for their food to be redone, not so much. after again the complete lack of service, and no rush to correct the food, we asked who we thought was the receptionist talking in the front for the manager. turns out that was the manager right next to us, making zero effort to correct the situation. even after the complaints, she did absolutely nothing. no additional staff came, no additional attention. her attempt at correction was removing the charge for the one plate that had to wait 45 minutes. this restaurant could be amazing. for most of the people there, it was amazing. for us, it was one of the worst experiences we had in Boston.

My first impression of Mare was fantastic, unfortunately- the service and food quality was not consistent. I was at Mare last week and our server was Adolfo. He was awesome, brought great energy and recommended wonderful dishes. Today, our server ignored our table for a good 20 minutes after we were seated, drinks were given to us half way though our meal and food was trying to be taken away as we were still working on it. They didn’t ask if we were done or still working on it. We had to physically show them that we were still eating our food. I think icing on the cake was when they charged us for things we didn’t even order, and mixing up our order when our meal was being served. Service and atmosphere are a HUGE importance to the vibe and experience. If you don’t care too much about that, let talk about the food (combined food from both visits). We got the Surf & Turf, dozen oysters, some clams, truffle arancini and the sautéed mussels & clams. The surf & turf and oysters were great, would recommend getting these! The others- I’d pass. For entrees , we got the linguine & clams vongole, salmon, and filet mignon. All were ok.. The linguine was dry and wasn’t well seasoned, pasta was chewy. For the filet mignon- Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect coming from a predominately seafood restaurant. It was presented well on a cutting board, the sides were — lighter dipping sauce, sautéed spinach and creamy mashed potatoes. The server didn’t even ask how we wanted it cooked (Ended up being medium rare). The salmon was mediocre - honestly could’ve air fried salmon and laid it on a bed of caramelized onions. For dessert, I got the chocolate soufflé - which tasted more like a half cooked cake or brownie. Souffle are supposed to be light and airy. This dessert tasted dense and very sweet. Overall my rating is average of both my experiences. But at the end of the day, I probably won’t go back.

You need to do reservations to get a seat in the evenings. We didnot so we got the fire seat which isn’t so bad really. The food is amazing. The drinks are superb. The service is good too. Good ambience and would come back. We had the steamed mussels, the Maine lobster - fabulous and filling, and oysters.

It is situated in an alley that looks sketchy at first glance but when you get in, the ambiance is great. My daughter got the hot lobster roll which she said was a little too buttery for her. She said the fries were great. We got the seafood risotto and grilled swordfish which are both great!

Delicious food and impeccable service. Food was on point and the water was amazing and refreshing. Not for the frugal but if you want to splurge a little more than usual, this is a good spot. The seating area is romantic but a bit small. Worth it!

Located in the North End this place was fantastic! I started with the lobster bisque and it was so good. Seven in our group we had 2 dozen oysters on the 1/2 shell, fresh, cold and tasty! I had the 2lb baked stuffed lobster, incredible! Had a gulden free pasta which they will do on any pasta dish, man was the wife happy! So authentic Italian, staff was excellent and took quick care of our every needs I would go back in a heartbeat.

Everything seafood was just great. Great selection of vines, if you love your Italians. Raw bar was superb, I skipped main dish entirely and ordered more instead. Oyster selection were way too good. I am not in the know with NA oysters, so market list and waiter tips helped with the decision. Ketchup cup in the oyster tray seemed kind of out of place, but it's probably me not knowing local ways. My wife loved risotto. Music was a bit too loud for my taste, thats probably the only complain I have.

Local friend recommend us to go here. We made a reservation ahead, sit in. Waiter’s English was fine can understand English isn’t his first language. All of our friends were fine not the best but still ok. The only down side is we sat outside; however the street construction car suddenly stared to working and making all the dust. I don’t understand why Sunday night still have construction, it’s a bit annoying. My favorite dishes of that day should be lobster roll. Lobster inside tastes good! Crudo trio is sashimi, different from Japanese type and the soy sauce was too salty; however the sashimi were pretty fresh. The other one we got was zuppa di mare gnocchi, it was alright.
