You pay for the view! Service was acceptable. Hostess was frigid and kind of rude. Food was very nice, but nothing amazing. Our waiter was great. You probably will spend between $75-$100 per person here, plus $14 for validated parking. There is a live band (we went on a Saturday evening) that was great - they played Sinatra and similar. Lighting is fairly low and the noise level was moderate. Not a place for kids under the age of 5 :)

Great ambiance and scenery. Service average. Reception was not.welcoming. Waiting was mediocre. Food was also mediocre. When I go to such high end place, I expect an excellent food. Food was presentable but taste was mediocre at best Update: per owners request I was asked to send an email about our visit which we did but nobody replied back

This is what I always hear and what I always tell others: you're paying for the view. Aside from the price, the food here is decent. I came here for dinner a few years ago and don't even remember what I had, which means it wasn't impressive...like at all. But I came here for lunch on a Saturday and the difference was extremely noticeable. I ordered the Cobb salad which was huge. I split it with my date and even then we couldn't finish it. We also ordered the lobster risotto which had nice chunks of lobster in it, as well as a lobster tail. The risotto had an incredible creamy flavor and was seasoned to perfection. We also ordered sweet chili calamari which was just regular calamari with a nice Thai twist to it. Not sure I would come here with my friends, but I would bring out-of-towners here for the experience.

Great service and good ambiance. Lamp chop is very tender and well seasoned with the red wine sauce. Side dishes are good too. We ordered the lobster bisque, also very delicious. The only bad thing is bad ventilation in women’s restroom. Quite uncomfortable.

3.5 stars for the food, 4.5 stars for the view/ambience. Had lunch here - ordered the salmon open-faced baguette sandwich with spinach - quite good. My friends order burgers which were average. Complimentary bread and service is ok. View is spectacular - would come back again for it.

The staff treated us amazing. Our waiter was awesome. They happened to be out of the dish I ordered that had a side of lobster mashed potatoes and I was only really getting it for the mashed potatoes! The chef was so nice and made me my own little side with my steak and a lobster mac and cheese too 😊 wonderful experience!

I was in Boston for my sister's graduation so we decided to book a lunch here. It was up to expectations and the food was amazing. I had ordered a set lunch that came with soup, I chose stuffed lobster as the entree and creme brulee as the dessert. Everything was delicious. The mussels were an appetizer and they were fresh and didn't have any fishy taste. The kitchen also added a congratulations to one of the desserts which was a nice touch. Highly recommend!

Love this place! Just like most the view is my favorite. Food is really good. The staff were amazing. The even took photos for us as we left. They have a nice band that plays too, added a nice ambience to the restaurant. Sad to see you leave

You go there for the views. Food is decent. I didn't sit down for a meal - instead went to the lounge for drinks and finger food. The service was great except for the person at the entrance - Alex. That guy was clueless and had no idea on how to greet customers or how to treat them. Drinks - I had the Irish Old Fashioned and I enjoyed it.

Dining as the upper echelon. The food was excellent. Amazing views. Great atmosphere with live classical music. We went for our 1 year anniversary and they surprised us with the desserts. Worth saying again, the food was excellent!!

So sad that this icon of Boston is closing down in a few months. I have been here before for a drink, as their cocktail menu is unique to just them. My wife and I also came here for a lunch, which was pretty good with variety, and catering to allergies and dietary restrictions. The chicken skewers were amazing. Thanks for a last great lunch at the top of the hub!
