We stopped by for a drink and a snack one afternoon. So I can't say anything about what the entrées are like. But sitting out in the beautiful weather, watching book lovers across the street was nice. Beer options were nice, as the cocktails were. But the hummus appetizer we had was divine! So tasty and perfect that I'm still thinking about it. Will definitely stop by again for lunch or dinner!

A most wonderful place, the cheeseburger was a little bigger than I hoped for. It was the most excellent sandwich I've had. The service was great, store was very clean, staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was excellent. I wish I could give this place more than a 5 star rating. Keep up the great work.

Disappointing experience... The waiter didn't pay any attention to us at all and it seems that either he or the kitchen forgot about our order. It took over an hour to eat... and only after I started getting really upset. There was a very nice lady Corinne (waitress or manager, don't know) who helped with the sevice and food as we didn't see our waiter again. She really went above and beyond to make up for this terrible experience and I am grateful to her. That is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars instead of one. I do not recommend this place. The food is not tasty - burnt on the outside and hard on the inside, besides tasteless. Prices are too high for what you get. Not worth it 👎

I didn’t know what to expect having never been here, but it was the only place with a reservation before the show, so we booked it. The server was super attentive, asked if we were seeing the show, and made sure to take our order quickly. We were ready to go. The bar was super slow. They only had one bartender on. I understand that help is hard to find, but the entrees came out before the first (and only) drink. Normally, I’d knock off a couple stars but the service was so good, and the food was so delicious that they still deserve 5. I had the pork chop which was absolutely perfectly cooked. The zucchini that came with it was cooked, but still crunchy, just the way I like it. My husband said his steak tips and mashed potatoes were top ten. We’ll definitely go back.

Great time before going to the show (Boston Opera House is right around the corner!)! Meals were delish and our server. Josh, was polite and attentive ( but not overly so!). Thanks for a great time to kick off our night out! Photo is of their s'mores dessert. SO worth saving room for!

Clean, comfy and lovely in here. Relaxed atmosphere, service was kind and down to Earth, made for a relaxing lunch. The FOOD!! is AMAZING!! I was expecting a casual bite, but the home made soup of the day was mind blowing, the sausage+mash+greens plate was so flavorful and well done. Kitchen obviously cares, they have some talent back there.

We were lucky to be sat really fast. The service was really top notch. I really liked the dipping sauce to the Thai Chilli chicken wings. The sauce on the chicken wings really emhanced the flavor. It was delicious. The chicken burger was really dried and overcooked. I couldnt finish it. It was really flavorless.

Great casual dining. We had a party of 9, and our server was friendly, thoroughly professional and capable to take care of us without error and with a smile. Top happiness reports came from the appetizers of chicken wings and potato skins, and entrees of steak, the meatloaf, and the sausage and mashed with (spicy and delicious!) greens. Broccoli mac and cheese is light on the broccoli, so if you're feeling green-ish, make sure to request extra veggies when ordering. Forgot to take photos because we were having a great time, but food is plentiful and presented nicely. Drinks are tasty and poured well.

I enjoyed my broccoli and leek soup before I thought to take a picture, but it was the creamiest, tastiest, most wonderful start to my dinner. I did remember to photograph the most delicious burrata salad and the completely indulgent chocolate gelato. Go, enjoy.

The waiter doesn’t seem to have much of a personality nor does he seem interested in his customers. But the food was amazing. The atmosphere is great. I had the meatloaf meal and the watermelon salad. It was perfect. Couldn’t ask for more that way. The portions were huge.

Decent food. The server was a bit too attentive. We don’t need to be asked if we need anything or if everything is good every 15 minutes.

Food was AMAZING. We got potato skins as the appetizer and they were delicious. My family and I got all the different types of burgers and tried each others, all so good. Got the brownie Sunday for dessert and it was also so good. Vibe was so nice and they played 2000s throwbacks the entire time which was so fun lol.

Came here with my coworkers for lunch. Great, cozy space with good lighting and decoration. The food itself was very good American--loved the thick-cut fries especially. Will definitely come back!

Great meal. All 4 diners enjoyed their meals. Caesar salad, pork chops and wings. The garlic butter wings were very good. Despite the kitchen closing in 10 minutes they allowed us to order. The meal was hot and served quickly. Service was great.

Excellent food and service. I've walked by a few times but tonight finally went in. I'm glad I did. The salmon dinner was delicious. I also had the side of corn bread. Yum. I had a great drink...a pink lemonade type. Brian the bartender was friendly and helpful. I hope to be back. This restaurant is a very short and safe walk from Tufts Medical Center straight down Washington St.

It was a nice beautiful day, all the doors, windows were open, it was like dining outdoors, it was great. I ordered a burger, it was good. Service was great. The cornbread was yum yum, but having it to go, it was not the same quality.

We sat at the bar. We were the only ones there since January is their slow season. The bartenders we're very amiable and spent the entire time we were there chatting with us. Had a couple cocktails and a bowl of apple, carrot soup which was very good. I didn't order anything else but the food passing by smelled amazing! Overall a very good experience. I would recommend it. We walked there from our hotel next door.

for the first time in boston and had a delicious meal in this nice eating place. good service and generous portions! if I'm in Boston again I will definitely get A stop in this restaurant ! 🤌🏼😃

Stopped in for a bite before the show. So glad we did, loved the Thia Chicken Salad. Our server was attentive and friendly too.

The restaurant very promptly seated my party of six. The drinks were served quickly with only one small mixup. The thing that it deserves the 5 star rating for is that they were able to offer delicious meals to a vegetarian, 2 picky 12 year old girls and the rest of us. The food was hot, well presented and very delicious. They have large windows that made it feel like an outdoor dining experience even though we were inside. Outside dining was also available. In short I would definitely go back.

Took a road trip from NY just for a taste of downtown boston and LOVED THIS PLACE! The wings get a 10 stars! The smoky flavor was out of this world!!! The gumbo greens and mash were great and the brussel sprouts(forgot the pic)......let's just say everything was amazing! Thank you for the experience. Will definitely visit again

We've eaten here twice while visiting Boston. Service great, food fresh, home made French fry wedges delicious. If there were just a few more menu options, I'd go higher. I had a simply prepared chicken breast with zucchini and rice. Perfectly cooked, easy on my travel tummy, yummy. My daughter ate her Mexican burger so fast, I missed it. 🤣. Cobb salad with strips of bacon and chicken super fresh. 🍷👍🥳

We tried Back Deck while visiting from Houston on Monday night for dinner. Staff was super friendly, the place had cool look and vibe and the food was great. I especially loved my Grilled Garlicky Sirloin Tips. So damn good.

Great food options. I especially liked that the kids menu offers better variety and quality than most restaurants. Their drinks are delicious as well.

The real reason I’m giving you guys this because of the lack of communication I asked for my check 3 times and never got it till I stood up and ask the hostess for it again smh even then it took them a while, my waitress went to table once smh a good way to loose a customer for sure BUT other than that the food was absolutely delicious no doubt but too bad the service was terrible.!
