Great innovative food paired with exemplary service. Prices were reasonable considering the central area. We were pleased with everything we ordered, although the burrito and chicken waffles stood out the most—an excellent restaurant for brunch with friends in Philly.

We were greeted by a friendly hostess and promptly seated. Drink & orders were taken. We got our drinks pretty quickly. The food however felt like it took forever. The server never came to check in on our table or offer refills, napkins or anything else really. There were other people running food to tables so we only saw the waitress at the end of our meal to give us the check. Lack of service was definitely some of the worst I've ever experienced. The atmosphere is nice but feels a bit cramped. It's a good place if you're looking to grab a drink. If you're into game meat selection or a hipster flare on the classics this place is for you. Ingredients were super fresh and high quality the flavor combinations are just not for me personally. Based on the disaster service I would never go back.

Pretty decent experience at tip tap room on a Friday night. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. Accommodating for gluten free options for drinks. Mixed reviews all together on the food - the appetizers were a hit, as were the turkey tips. My friend didn’t love the cut / how her steak tips were cooked, though. I’d still come back here for a fun relaxed night in beacon hill!

Interesting and delicious food. Lively atmosphere and attentive service. Highly recommend the calamari, lobster bisque, and grilled corn for starters (though everything we had was great). Tenderloin tips and wild boar gnocchi were both delicious. Bread pudding for dessert was basically perfect.

This place is awesome we had made reservations for my Birthday dinner we showed up 15 minutes early we thought we would have to wait but we were asked if we would like to be seated. We were escorted to a cozy little corner table the staff was very nice and attentive the food was delicious and the dessert OMG don't take my word for it go check them out yourself you will not be disappointed!

The staff really knows their stuff. Great selection of whiskey too. Had a great time hanging out and catching up with friends. My only recommendation is to update your ice game for the whiskey lovers

The Tip Tap Room is a good place to go, but I do think it can be overpriced for dinner. The steak in the Steak Frites is really good but the fries are just ok. I’ve had brunch here before as well and would recommend. The beer selection on draft is impressive and makes this a place a good hangout spot with friends after work.

Everything you could ask for! The fries were awesome, perfectly seasoned and crunchy! I loved the roasted chicken and grilled corn. Very filling meal at a fair price point. I would have again. Thanks for the attentive service.

Pretty extensive draught beer list. Swordfish tips had the best “mashed” potatoes I’ve ever eaten (Olive tapenade potatoes). And I drank the Black Hog “Coffee Milk Stout (nitro).

I recommend the food here. I wasn't sure to get food at this place . A bit concerned about overrated reviews... But o big surprise! The tip steak, with bell peppers, mashed potatoes and spinach and that sauce was really good. I va to say that the steak 🥩 was cook just as I asked for it. All though is a beer place we didn't had a beer ... Big mistake since we did ordered drinks and those were just meh ... Service was ok 4/5 Food 5/5 Drinks not beers 3/5 Place 4/5 Price point 3/5 it's a bit pricey but again food was good. For two plates and two drinks we payed $85 not including tip.

Very nice atmosphere. Wonderful staff. We were served quite quickly. The French onion soup was OK. Unfortunately the onion flavor just wasn't there, even in the onions themselves. All the other ingredients were lovely, but the onion was barely there.

Good atmosphere and good people, the drinks were okay so if you are looking for a dinner venue this is not the place. The food was not good at all the steak tasted microwaved and the wings were rubbery. So if your just going to have drinks with friends it's a great place, but if your going for a nice dinner I wouldn't recommend.

This was our first trip to Boston. We had our last dinner here before heading home to CA. We did not regret ending it on such a fine note. Staff was welcoming. Very nice ambiance. Sat at the bar. Large beer selection. Our wonderful and very helpful bartender (PM P ck#59) recommended the Grilled Venison Tenderloin Truffle Risotto/lime marcerated cherry/mint & chive. It was THE best risotto my husband and I have had. We wish we had more time here to eat at The TTR again. HIGHLY recommend!

Has had for many years, and still does have, one of the best taplists in the city. If you're into craft beer, especially harder to obtain beers, this is the place for you. Had the Lamb burger as well, it was so juicy and delicious. Would order again in a heartbeat. Pictured is a Bourbon Barrel Aged Vanilla Noir from Prairie. I also had the King Vulture collab between Foam x Horus which was as good as you'd expect from those two powerhouses.

One of the best beers I’ve ever had was here. Hari was an amazing bartender with great recommendations for our trip to Boston. The brunch potatoes are a must, as is the Orion Sour beer - wow!

Loved our dinner here! I had the wild boar gnocchi, and it was amazing. Tender and succulent, just delicious. The beer list was extensive, and I tried a variation of a fav brand I had never heard of. The staff was very friendly. We didn’t have a reservation on a Friday at 7:00PM, but they were able to make room for the four of us. The pumpkin cheesecake dessert was amazing! We will be back.

I didn’t come here to eat but given the time of the day it was (Being around 4:30 Pm), after a meeting at the place , I decided to get something to eat. I also don’t come out to Boston often (specially to eat) so this I one of my most outside my normal paradigm review but here it goes: Look, if you want a great ambience, great tasting food at an AMAZING location, look no further. We had wings and steak (took the steak to go and will be editing the review later with news on the steak) but judging by what we had, it must be AWESOME. Anyways, I’ll come back here with my family in the summer time to enjoy some great tasting food with the doors open. Congratulations to the management and owners for running such a right ship. Highly recommend!

Food was okay. The special rib and noodles was probably the best dish. Didn’t enjoy the steak frites. The pork chop was decent.

Came for the beer, stayed for all the food. It’s a shame I can only give 5 stars. It’s been a while where every single thing about a place was Excellent! The Wings, the Bao Buns, the Dumplings, the pulled pork sliders, and the brownies dessert were all amazing. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. The beers were also great. Service was great. It’s worth the little walk from the parks and the prices you see but ever so worth it. 10 stars.

What a blast! The vast selection of drafted beers had me go in there. Loved the widowmaker IPA. The Veggie Burger is from another planet and opened up new taste bud horizons. Please try it. Plus, super attentive and friendly staff. Will sure come back. Thank you so much!

Go for: The great beverage selection, a well-balanced food menu, and terrific service all-around. Avoid if: You are driving here from out of town. It's on one of Boston's busiest streets and parking options nearby are minimal. Something surprising: The chef has been associated with a number of restaurants cherished by Bostonians, past and present. Reservation needed? Probably a good idea, but the wait for walk-ins is rarely bad. Overall Experience: 4/5. Easy to get to, excellent beer selection, well-executed food, friendly and professional service staff (including the servers, hosts, bartenders, etc.), relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. This is a place you go back to over and over again with family and friends. Value for Price: 4 Sanitation: 4 Food Quality: 4 Menu Precision: 4 Service Quality: 4 Timing: 4 Decor: 4 Access: 4 — 5 among the best 4 strong 3 not too bad 2 mediocre 1 never again

This restuarant was out of this world! The Asian Fusion twist is very well executed. We had the Bao buns and the pots stickers which were possibly the best we've ever had, and we eat a lot of Asian food. They have an extensive beer selection and fun cocktail list.

Awesome stop for a quick drink (or two in our case). Location is extreamly clean and inviting. Will try food next time we are in town but the drink list was great and worth the stop
