Fish n chips, fish undercooked at one end. It was raw at the back. Pizza sloppy but tasty. Expensive. Server said 'the Irish hate the English' just as I left after having tipped him. Everyone laughed in the pub, I didn't.

On a hot humid Boston Sunday this place was an oasis after a trip to the aquarium which this lovely place is right across from. Air conditioned with great tavern atmosphere, its fantastic for people watching along with the phenomenal food. Definitely felt like we got our bang for our buck!

What was once a must stop in Boston with the best lobster rolls in town, has become a shell of what it once was. Food was incredibly salty and to the point of inedible for some dishes at increased costs. That being said, service and waitstaff were perfection and I was happy to tip for their speedy and generous service.

Nice tavern in a touristy neighborhood in boston. I got the tuna nachos and they tasted a lot like sushi.

Average bar, average food Nice enough place to pop in for a drink. We ended up jumping into the place as it started to drizzle and we were winding out way back to south station on a self-made pub crawl. The beer list was average as was the food we got. The chicken wings were unimpressive. Clean Facilities with indoor and outdoor seating Nice location and easy to get to from South Station. When my friend asked about their locals beers...the server thought Languinitas was a local MA beer.

Ambience and service is great. The food not so much, because we felt everything could've been way tastier. The burgers were nice, but nothing to write home about. The steak was overcooked when ordered medium, the grilled cheese was nice and the shrimp tacos done right, but again nothing special. All in all a mixed bag. The patio outside is a public walkway but the restaurant is nice and dirty with lots of natural light.

Great outdoor dining and nice service and cocktails. Food was okay. Was excited to try the chips snd dip. Chips looked delicious as they were served but once tasted were stale and a real disappointment. Dip was tasty. Burger was good, although pretty well cooked and was ordered to be medium. Fries were nice and crispy. Fish and chips were a little greasy but not awful.

We visited Granary Tavern during our visit to Boston and we absolutely loved this place. The atmosphere is wonderful. You get a cozy, classy pub feel, with great staff. It’s casual enough but can be a perfect date night spot. Amy was our server and right off the bat she was AMAZING! I have celiac and she was not only very cautious with my meal, but she made me a list of everything that was safe for me to eat. She was attentive and kept the drinks coming. The food was perfect. The burger was up there for me on some of the best burgers I’ve recently eaten. It’s good quality meat and it was flavorful. Everyone raved about the fish and chips. My mother in law had the onion soup and chicken tenders. She said was it was delicious. It was an overall great experience and I look forward to coming back. Thank you Amy and Granary Tavern.

We've eaten at the Granary Tavern a few times with family and have always had a great experience. The food is delicious, the servers are all attentive without being over-the-top, and the decor and layout make for a comfortable dining experience. I also appreciate their patience with kids! My one critique: there is no baby changing station in the men's rest room, only the women's.

Food comes with generous portions. However, the service is rather slow if you sit in the lower level.

Great place to stop after a boat trip or touring the aquarium. Had probably the best lobster roll of my life. Paired with fries and a cold beer, heaven on a hot day!

Probably one of my favorites restaurants I've ever been since I moved to Massachusetts. We went 2 times in just 1 week after spending the day in Boston. I highly recommend the pow pow Shrimp as appetizer and the main dish the Steak with fries and arugula. They served all the food at once under 15min, the waitresses are fast and friendly.

    1. Our Waiter was very nice, however he took a long time to check in once we got our food. 2. Three out of four dishes tasted great and were made well. 3. I had to send my dish back twice because the homemade biscuit was super hard and burnt. I ended up not eating it, and got a refund for it. I would come back and give them another chance.

Food was tasty, and really had something for everyone given there was a vegetarian in our group. The only complaint was the service could have been better since the waiter did not check on us at all until it was time to pay. But other than that it was delicious and perfect for what we were looking for

Seriously…the best Clam Chowder I have ever had in my 61 years on Earth. Salad was super fresh, fish and chips were delicious and drinks were cold and fresh! Wonderful setting wonderful service!

Stopped in for a quick drink on a hot day in Boston. Our server was very friendly. I ordered the Melon Margarita which was ok but tasted mostly like sour mix. Great ambiance of brick and iron. Would be better with more craft cocktails.

Food looked nice enough but definitely not worth the price at all. With the way it was described in the description I expected something ... more. The staff felt cold and unwelcoming. Took 15 minutes to get my drink order, and only after I reminded the waiter (not a busy lunch).

Loved it here. We came with our kids (10 & 11) the kids meals were BIG and delicious. Thai noodle salad was insane. Great lobster roll & chicken and waffles. We had a table outside and for great people watching as they passed (the inside had a nice vibe too). Recommend!

The food was exquisite the fish and chips was very buttery and soft. Compared to local spots their fish was well seasoned. The fries are fresh not too deep fried. The burger feels freshly grilled and everything appears to be “fresh to order”, come here for a relaxed and warm environment stay for the drinks and great service.

Our party of four greatly enjoyed our breakfast. Food was hot, plentiful and tasted great. Was quiet and service was good and we never saw the bottom of our coffee cups! Will be back!

Good place close to the aquarium! Solid place for a beer and lunch! I had the fish and chips with the flatbread and the daily soup. The soup was a sausage stew and it was fantastic! The fish and chips were fresh and the fries seasoned to perfection!
