Really disappointed to see the bar shrink the $1 draft to what seems to be a 10oz cup. Corporate greed? Absolute disregard for the community? Maybe both. It’s not as if Bud Light costs anything these days anyways.

The person that take care of the money on the door punched one of the guest, I have a video with proof of everything that happened tonight 09/26/2021 at 2:21 a.m. . I would not recommend this place ever. So unprofessional and rude all the security staff.

Nice place to watch the game. It's a bit away from the touristic area which is nice and calmer. Service was a bit slow, but the food was good. The clam chowder was very good, along with the nachos. The Smokehouse wrap was very good as well. It's a nice place to grab a drink and watch the game.

This place is pretty cool, 1 dollar bud light some good pours. Food is good, bartenders and security are so nice. I had the poutine and clam chowder, honestly the best I've had so far so Totally made my night. Most definitely if you are in the area and looking for a drinking spot. This is the place

My rating is based solely on drinking beer at the bar.. Seemed like a pretty friendly neighbourhood bar. I had read somewhere that they had a happy hour but also read that state law doesn't allow that. To the best of my knowledge our beers were regular priced (though they do have $1 Bud Light). Lively atmsophere, local pours and reasonable pricing. Bartender was super friendly.

Coogans is back and let me just say first of all I am IMPRESSED! The new bartender Kate despite being slammed treated each customer as if they were the only ones in the joint. Previously I always felt ignored by the staff (waiting 15+ min for a drink because the bartenders were always talking to their friends). My boss was so impressed by the kindness she showed our party he suggested we go for team bonding on Friday’s after work. Also, the new smaller menu is less overwhelming and the new pizza is fantastic!

Beer and everything fine, BUT music was way loud, like hurting my ears loud!!! Not even a dance club the music is that loud. I don't know. Maybe they wanted everyone to leave ASAP but there's a better way to do it. MUSIC TOO LOUD!!! MY EARS ARE BLEEDING. we used sign language to communicate with my friends NEXT TO ME!!!

I had a cheese pizza, it was absolutely delectable, the bottom was a bit crusty/over cooked, but the pizza was 8.5/10 overall. The drinks are all in very small cups, which are mostly filled with ice. Service was a bit confusing and neither I nor some strangers were sure how to order. Prices are pretty decent. The wait time was on the longer side but not ridiculous (about half an hour wait for some burgers and mac and cheese.) but seriously the pizza was scrumpdiddlyumptious

This place straight up slaps. I was in the mood for a good old fashioned American burger and that's exactly what I got. Cooked just right, just enough toppings, and the sauce was a great touch. My girl got the Nashville Hot Chicken and for a moment after tasting it, I glimpsed behind the curtain of reality. I was no longer held back by my mortal shell. The chef must be practicing magic back there because I saw the fabric of time after that adonis of a sandwich. The buffalo chicken dip was so good we got it twice. I don't come to Boston often but this is for sure a place I will visit every time.

Danielle was very kind and an excellent server. She has earned this 5 star firmly. Venu and music was good. Multiple TVs with multiple forms of sport entertainment.

It's a cool spot there's always people in there probably because of the dollar beers. Can't go wrong if you on a budget music is good.

I am from out of town and went to Coogan's a few weeks ago on a Saturday. We got there around 12:30 to watch a college football game. At first, there weren't too many people there and our waitress was great! The food was awesome and the $1 draft beers came out quick. Around 2pm, people started flowing in and the place got packed. Service slowed down a little after that, understandably, and it took a little longer for beers, and a while to get our check. Overall we had a great experience and the staff was very friendly! Be aware that at peak times, it can get a little slow for service, but that's to be expected anywhere. Would highly recommend!

Coogan is known for its $2.00 Draft Beers, but is also know for good service tasty food and great atmosphere. I make it a point to stop in for a pint whenever I am in the area. Located between the leather and the financial district. Good spot to watch the Game and socialize of just enjoy lunch and be on your way.

Can't beat 1 dollar beers. I thought it was gonna be a scam but the beers are basically full size. Best place to watch a sports game.

The doorman of Coogan asked us for the documentation, all of us are over 50!!! And he didn’t accept our Spanish identity card, just passport. We had to have a drink in other bar where nobody asked us nothing. Very upset. The answer of Cougan, below, is that he was doing his job. Dear, sir, nobody take passport out of the hotel for safety reasons. So, your business is not for tourist or foreign people. I’m not going to apologise for thinking that. Yesterday evening we had a drink in other place and like mature people we are, nobody asked as an identity card or passport,

The owner was solid, the bar tenders were quick and the support staff was professional. The crowd was college aged and it was highly entertaining. Good music, fast beers and solid pricing. Floors were trashed and sticky, but based on the pours and the crowd, it was expected. Glad we stopped in

Awesome St. Patrick’s Day experience! It was an absolute blast and it made for a really great end to our night out

The food was pretty decent and the service was fast, but the bill is what really impressed me. I happened to stop by during $1 beer happy hour, which you can't beat. The fish and chips was good too, but no where close to the best I've ever had.

We were wanting a place to grab a quick drink and take a quick break from walking, and so we stopped into Coogan's. Man, am I glad we did. Our bartender, Duchon, was awesome. I can't wait to go back.

Great neighborhood bar. My only concern was where we sat it was very loud from the conversation going on around us. We had to speak to each other as if a live band was playing near us.

Pretty hard to complain about 1 dollar bud light and Budweiser drafts. Didn’t realize places could even get away with that low of a price. Stopped in for a couple burgers with some friends and we were pleasantly surprised. Would definitely come back to eat again. The bathrooms are very dirty and the people inside are often aggressive college aged kids that are either showing up drunk or being over served at the bar. They need to do a better job of kicking out drunk and aggressive people. I think the security is more concerned with checking IDs than actually checking on the people already inside.

$1 bud and bud light draughts. My boyfriend and I spent about 4 hours here on a friday night. Took the commuter rail which was super convenient. We also ate dinner there, I got their cheeseburger panini and was pleasantly surprised.

Only stopped in for drinks, very nice staff that was very accommodating to a large group even if we weren't looking for food. Ambiance was nice and service was quick, wouldn't mind stopping in again if we're nearby.

More of a college kids and local place but can't beat the $1 beers! Only place around with them all the time! Wish they were open more and had a full menu but soon!

The bouncers at the door were professional and did their jobs well. The woman's bathroom situation was an absolute atrocity. It was so unclean it was disgusting. The Vibes are okay and the drinks were decent
