A classic local Irish pub with an array of comfort foods and great drafts. Came here on a Friday during an off-peak hour and found the place quite bustling with locals and tourists. The word among the locals was that Druid pours one of the best draft Guinness beers in the city. While it wasn't comparable to the ones I've tried in Dublin, it was still velvety smooth. Food-wise, Druid championed hearty and generous portions. The lightly-seasoned fried calamari especially stood out with its sheer size of the portion - undoubtedly a steal for its price. However, my favorite of the meal was the Oxtail Soup. It was a seasonal gem that's only served in the colder months, and it was replete with two huge oxtail bones and savory broth that beautifully harmonized with the slight tang from the spinach. The Shepherd's Pie and Druid Fish & Chips leaned more towards the traditional side without much flair, but they were still good choices with the beer. For anyone seeking an authentic Irish pub experience, complete with classic dishes, great beer, and a spirited environment, Druid is an undeniable gem. Highly recommend giving them a try.

This place is one of the best pubs I have enjoyed in the states. It properly embodies all the best features of pub-culture with excellent food and drinks. We ordered the Shepard’s Pie and the Fish & Chips, both were excellent! The Guinness was good and the ginger beer had a proper kick of spice to it rather than a sweet aftertaste. The Shepard’s Pie was proper with lamb rather than beef. The lamb was tender and well-cooked, the vegetables were coarsely chopped and the mash potatoes were perfect. It did not have the typical vegetables you would expect in a Shepard’s pie (carrots and peas), rather, it was thick-cut hearty root vegetables that tied the dish together really well and would hold you through the cold months of winter. This is one of the best Shepard’s Pie’s that we have enjoyed this side of the pond. The Fish & Chips arrived in a bundle of newspaper (cute) and was perfectly fried fresh cod. While I wish the chips were double or triple fried (personal favorite), the overall dish was great with fantastic homemade tartar sauce that offered a bit of sweetness to the savory dish. Really, I could not get enough of the tartar sauce. The decor is well thought out with even a nod to Arthurian legends and local artistry tying the community together. There was a live band when we arrived playing tasteful Irish music, the golden retriever was a nice touch too. We will definitely return here as we loved the vibe, food, and live music!

I absolutely LOVE a good eggs benedict. It's truly my favorite way to eat eggs, but it's not the easiest dish to make. Trust me on this one. I've made many in my day. I went to the Druid for brunch and had the BEST Benny of my life! It was so good I could have licked the plate clean. But didn't because I shouldn't ever embarrass my dinning partner. 😄 I highly recommend it! The pub also has beautiful live Irish music played by local musicians. If you enjoy this kind of warm and welcoming environment you'll fell right at home here. 🎻🍀🍻 Oh, and the staff are good eggs too. 🥚😁 Sorry,...I had to stick at least one silly dad joke in. 😆

Awesome local Irish pub in a great neighborhood. It feels like many people know each other, people bring kids, watch football together etc., I would definitely want to be a regular if I lived nearby. The staff is super friendly. We just had a soda, but I took a peak at the menu and all the options seem pretty affordable.

Always great. Have been eating here for years. Today was a Steak with mashed potatoes and green beans along with a black and tan beer. Owner came to the table to chat. A must visit Irish pub. Aug 30, 2023 - This is one of the best Irish pubs. The food is consistently great. The menu is kept purposely small. There is great, local seafood, beef and the world's finest calamari appetizer. My favorite dish is always the seafood stew. Of course a glass or two of Guinness must always accompany our meal. There is live Irish music a few days a week.

The Druid is a wonderful, small pub in a great walkable area. It is near MIT, Harvard, Hult and many of the other local universities. The staff are from Ireland and very friendly, they had great live music, and the portion sizes were very large. It has ample seats, but fills up quickly due to the small size. I went to Ireland in January and it was definitely reminiscent of the pubs there. I would highly recommend this pub.

On a mission from Houston to eat as many East Coast oysters as possible. The Druid was my first stop at 2PM on a Friday. $1 oyster happy hour is until 3PM Monday - Thursday. Although I was a little disappointed Fridays were removed from the special, that didn't stop me from ordering two dozen Wellfleets to slurp on. Smaller than the behemoth Gulf oysters I'm used to, they were clean and full of flavor. Yummy sangria, sweet bartender/server, and very clean restroom. Will make an effort to come back again if I’m ever in the area.

This is a great pub. Can get busy. Can be quiet. Food is hearty and tasty. Bartenders are amazing, hilarious, and professional. Most of them have been there for years. This is a great pub to become a regular at!

Food was delicious and hot and the entire place was filled with music and singing. Made for a fun evening. Only thing scored down was service since our host accidentally dropped a butter knife on me then ran away for some time without acknowledging the incident. Otherwise, would definitely go back for more food!

3.5/5 The fries were fried in not so fresh oil. The burger was fine, so massive that it does not fit between the buns. It's not 100% beef, there were breadcrumbs in the patty and other spices. I'm more into simpler type of burgers hence why I'm not so happy. Meal was a bit heavy, kept us full for all day.

This is one of my favorite pubs in the Great Boston area. Now that with its ourdoor dining, it has become even more family friendly with parents with young children. We love this place and had really great experience! The food is also very delicious. However, having had fish and chips in other places, I cannot say it is the best I've ever had. I did enjoy it very much thought and strongly recommend it! =) see pictures

Kinda cozy and like a dive bar. Got some IPAs on tap and some rotating ones. Open late and it's a chill place to hang out. Nothing too special but the bartender seemed to be a bit aloof. Maybe it's a Boston thing but it wasn't too bad I guess

The vibes? Immaculate. The service? Amazing. The food? INCREDIBLE! We got the beef stew and the shepards put and they were both INCREDIBLE!!!! The beef stew broth was so flavorful and well spiced and the beef was tender and juicy. The shepards pie truly had no business being as good as it was. They use lamb CHUNKS which was amazing!!! I also got a glass of smithwicks which was also delicious. HIGHLY recommend!

We had the most amazing time at The Druid!! We ordered the beef stew and scallion potatoes and they were everything we hoped for. The vibe is immaculate as well - we loved the fun sun and moon on the ceiling and the other Irish decor. If we come back to Cambridge, we will return!

We had lunch there with family friends. Surprising good quality and authentic iris food. Price value is great. Worth recommending or bring friends.

Busy and crowded, loud and lively— all good things! Could use a little more space or outdoor COVID-style seating for overflow

Authentic Irish Vibes! Everything from the decor to the waiters feels Irish. I strongly recommend getting a Guinness with the fish and chips here ( they even serve it in a newspaper ball). Things are on the pricier side but you will enjoy your meal for sure!

Perfect. Met a few friends after work for a bit of a reunion. Service was friendly, attentive. Never had to wait for the next beer. Vibe was typical local cambridge. Outdoor seating option.

I had oxtail soup… I can say I LOVE IT !!! Today was a cold and rainy day and this soup was delicious, warm and tasty! Perfect for a quick warm up of my body and hands. I totally recommend this seasonal dish

This is simply one of the best bars in Greater Boston, and easily a top 3 Irish pub in the Camberville area. Get the calamari or the fish&chips, and put Barry's homemade hotsauce on it. Even before all the covid-era bar closures in the area, this place was a gem, but now it is literally precious.

Came here for the fish and chips (good), stayed here for the atmosphere (great). This is the kind of bar a tourist like myself can walk in and immediately feel like a local. This place is on my "must return" list next time I'm in Boston.

My favorite pub in the Boston/Cambridge area, like a little slice of Ireland with kind staff. Every time I go, I feel like I step into a different part of the world and it's always so welcoming. The food is incredible, I especially love the fresh chips and oxtail soup when it's in season. I'll recommend time and time again.

Cozy, classic Irish-Style pub. Perfect Guinness and traditional items on the menu. The beef stew was delicious and very filling, as the portions are huge. The curry fries were good too.

Spectacular bar with next-level food. Would highly recommend the clam chowder, it's among the highest quality soup I've ever had the pleasure of tasting

Get the fish n chips and a beer on tap! Tell the family who works there hi! Absolutely recommend as a classic Irish bar. I love dropping by early when it’s not as crowded and catching live music.
