My husband and I came here to celebrate getting married. It was THE BEST experience ever! If you’re looking for a restaurant with an elegant and impeccable ambiance, extraordinary food, and superb service then Fin Point is a MUST! I will definitely be coming back. This is what we had for our celebration of love: 3 dozen oyster, tuna tacos, clam chowder, calamari, mussels in tomato sauce with chorizo, crab beignets, lobster ravioli, and Chilean sea bass. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse cake and red velvets cheesecake. For drinks, we had a bottle of champagne and a Manhattan (which was the BEST Manhattan I’ve ever had! 😍) The food was EXQUISITE, so fresh, and brought out right on time. Our server, Matias, was friendly, welcoming and simply amazing! Would recommend this place to anyone and EVERYONE!

The oysters were amazing! So delicious & fresh tasting. The chicken was also surprisingly good as well. Not dry or lacking flavor. Chowder was outstanding lots of clam in every bite. The risotto & scallops were chefs kiss! Definitely check this place out for the $1 oyster happy hour (which I missed) as of this review it’s daily from 2-5pm I believe.

Beautiful restaurant, great vibe, would definitely come back again. Manager went above and beyond for friends bday. We asked for a drink they weren’t use to and not on the menu.. the manager actually googled it and the bartender made it spectacularly. The appetizers are absolutely delicious… we ate them so fast I didn’t get to get pictures. I think we tried them all lol…however my Chilean sea bass kinda fell short, I would not order that again, it needs more seasoning and lacks the crispy skin I’m use to from fine dining spots. My friend got the burger and he loved it… so still 5 🌟 from me despite the sea bass

OYSTER HAPPY HOUR. We were staying at the Hilton so this restaurant was in the lobby. The bar inside the hotel that is connected to this restaurant opens nice and early for mimosas. I enjoyed the mimosas more than anything else. There is no drink specials on their happy hour menu. The restaurant manager is very nice. Service on shucking oysters is VERY VERY slow. When you ask for crackers they give you these super salty home made chips. Be warned they are $5. We ordered twice for crackers and paid $10. OUCH! The ambiance is nice, the drinks are well mixed, but the speed of the service for the happy hour oysters is too slow.

What a disappointment on so many levels! I really had high hopes seeing that Finn Point had so many great reviews and was in the Hilton I was staying at for business. I was in a mood for a burger and was planning on getting the $24 Wagyu beef burger but my waitress Yessica talked me into the Streak Frittes. For $36, I got cold (not even warm) steak and fries that tasted like they were sitting for 10 minutes before coming out to my table. The peppercorn and bourbon gravy were excellent but the steak was chewy and not very warm. The fries were cold. To make matters worse, my whiskey sour was weak and watered down. Yessica did not come by to check to see how my food and drinks were so I could not even ask to have my food warmed up. I ate as much of the food as I could and waited for Yessica so I could get the check. I had to ask the manager for my check. It was more than 30 minutes from the time my food came out to when Yessica brought my check. I didn’t see her at all in between. This was not a $36 meal. More like an $18 meal. I have had better at just about every chain restaurant.

I'd not heard of Fin Point before, likely because I don't frequent the financial district much, but it was very solid for a Sunday morning brunch. We ordered a dozen Duxbury oysters, the tuna tacos, and the beet salad, plus two drinks and coffee. Everything was solid and very fresh-tasting. Great oysters as usual for Duxbury, and the salad was well dressed and paired with meaty pecans and toasty croutons. The tacos were good—crunchy shell, which was surprising to me—but it actually accompanied the softness of the raw tuna well. Total came out to be ~$50 per person; we were comfortably full but not stuffed by any stretch of the imagination. Service was fine; fast and friendly. They have a decent stretch of patio outside.

My fiancé and I drove 1hr to have dinner at Fin Point Boston this Saturday evening. To say it was well worth the drive would be an understatement. We would drive 10x that to have the same experience again. Laura, our server, was amazing. The food was better than we could have hoped for and the restaurant itself had a beautiful design. Next time we have a date night Fin Point will be our top choice!

It is my first time to try oysters. Taste fantastic. I like the grilled octopus, too. Nice ambience. I took one star off because waiters/waitresses all had cold faces.

Beautiful restaurant with a very romantic ambience. Perfect for a date night! I ordered the Baked Chicken and my date had the halibut. Both were cooked extremely well and delicious. For an appetizer we had the clam chowder wich was also very delicious. Accroding to the server, the menu changes 4 times a year. The website does not have a live menu and the food pictures on the website might not be available.

Great spot for dinner and drinks in Downtown! The atmosphere inside is wonderful, but we opted to sit outside and their patio had gorgeous views of the city. Perfect for a date night or to grab some drinks and apps with friends. Highly recommend the tuna tacos and the espresso martini! All of the dishes were very fresh, and they rotate the menu with seasonal offerings. If I came back, I’d probably skip out on the dessert because it was kinda bland.

Had lunch at the nicely appointed restaurant with two other diners. We had shrimp cocktail ($5 a shrimp); scallop cerviche (ceviche should never be paired with other food which is warm in temperature; beet salad with herbed goat cheese, Candied walnuts and Frisee. The salad dressing was utterly delicious but I would have liked some salad greens along with Frisee. We also had the roasted peach salad with heirloom tomatoes. Overall the meal was just OK.

Brunch outside was a great start. However - there was almost no one and yet it took about 10 minutes for our drinks to come and another 15 minutes for our appetizers (oysters and tuna taco) and then another 20 minutes for our entrees (burger and lobster roll). The food was okay- the best by far was the tuna taco - 3 tacos were very crunchy, fried shell with tuna & avocado filling. Oysters were fine but the mignonette sauce has like 10 pieces of shallots and they only gave us one lemon. The burger had an odd after taste and the lobster roll was fine but for $58-definitely not worth it. The mimosa was pretty good. Overall - service very slow + overpriced food = not a recommendation.

Corey, the GM is incredible! Celebrated our anniversary, and he comped us several items. Capped it off at lunch today with Espresso Vodka shots. Lobsta Ravioli was great. Oysters were great. Cheesecake was great. Servers were great.

This was hands down the best meal we had in Boston. The lobster ravioli may have been the best meal I've ever had! I got to try the salmon and it was for sure the best salmon I've had. I would absolutely recommend Fin Point

If I could give this restaurant a 10 star I will, because the service is unbelievable. I had a bad experience last month due extreme reservations and a busy night since it was Valentine day weekend. The manager then call me the next day and offer me a free dinner. I finally made it there yesterday they way they took care of me and the hospitality is unmatched. The service was great, the food was delicious. I will definitely make it my spot because they prove me that they know how to do business and know how to make a bad experience right. Will definitely recommend.

Great place, very well decorated. Even though it is in a touristic area, the food is very delicious. The employees are very friendly. For dinner we ordered Salmon and scallops with risotto, both were delicious. We ordered salmon tartare as an appetizer, it was delicious but small in portion. The next day you went for happy hour and we ordered some really good oysters for $1. Very good deal!!

It was such a mixed bag and thankfully we weren't hungry. Every negative we experienced had a positive so I wish I could give this 2.5. Let's start with the good first. We walked by early afternoon, saw they had $1 oysters, so we had lunch then came back, probably around 2:30. Plenty of seats so we sat outside. They lined the asphalt with some fake grass which was a nice touch. The inside seemed nice too. The hostess asked if we wanted to start off with anything so immediately we asked for 3 dozen oysters. A little while later we put in our order with the waiter. Oddly enough, a waitress came by a few minutes after and we told her we ordered. Then more time passes and she came back to confirm the order because they were changing shifts. No problem, we repeated. We waited a very long time. Oysters came out, actually had much more than 3 dozen. Cool. Clam chowder was good with plenty of clams. We asked waiter for small plates, he didn't remember. We had the waiter, the waitress, a woman in a suit, and a man in a suit all check in on us but they all seem lost - except for the man in the suit. We told him one of our apps still didn't come out and we can just cancel it if it wasn't ready. He said he'll check on it and did actually bring it out within a minute, and he said it was on the house. Getting the check was another adventure...3 different people and it still took 15 minutes And the whole time both the waiter and waitress were around so who knows what was going on there. Anyway, the food was just OK. Not sure why operations were all over the place when we went. It wasn't for the lack of effort but seems like they need better communications between each other and the kitchen too. Crazy enough, we might come back...hard to beat dollar oysters and we're hoping this was a bad day for them.

For the pierce the food is just meh. Bacon was over cooked and super sweet. The potatoes were dry and even the ketchup in the cup was so hard from sitting out for who knows how long. Spent 55 dollars for a breakfast that is less than a Waffle House. Not fresh at all. Service was good and that was all that was good here.

Excellent raw bar, as the oysters are “on point.” Menu needs some improvement with some smaller plate options, but otherwise a solid choice for any traveler passing through Boston. I wouldn’t seek it out, as it’s what you’d expect from a hotel raw bar, but definitely better than most.

Had a birthday dinner here, the tuna tacos tasted more like guacamole tacos, oysters were good, calamari was fine. I had a New York strip and it tasted straight like black pepper corns and also salty. A friend of mine had the filet mignon and said the same about it being overpowering with the salt and black pepper.

Beautiful high-end restaurant in a prime location downtown. Elegant interiors, pleasant atmosphere (not too loud like other restaurants, you can actually carry a conversation). We had the salmon and the chicken dishes. They were fancy and beautifully plated, but honestly not enjoyable: very greasy and too spicy, and the portions were small and not filling. We would have had some fun cocktails but there were none on the menu. Desserts were also fancy but with too much fat. Yet I'm writing a 5-star review thanks to the great service by our waiter Elias (I hope I'm not misspelling, the staff does not wear name tags) and the manager Eric. They were both professional, kind, helpful, patient and service oriented. We celebrated a special occasion, and they helped make it pleasant and personable.

A hidden gem. Nestled inside the Hilton, this is a great, yet overlooked spot. I would recommend for lunch more than dinner, as the bar gets crowded at night some days. Had their burger, very tender, great flavor, prepared perfectly. The winner was the chocolate mousse: one of the best I’ve had. It’s a bit pricey though, so keep in mind.

I love the atmosphere and and amazing service. Food wasn’t taste at all. Atmosphere was such a calm and elegant vibe, definitely set the mood Service was exceptional and very accommodating Calamari didn’t have any flavor at all. Chicken dinner was okay

This was the most disappointing meal we’ve had during our time here in Boston. Not only was the food overpriced for the quality, there was also no service to speak of. It’s hard to believe that this place was so highly rated and I really wish we didn’t spend our anniversary meal here. We came for a special occasion and were seated on the patio as per our reservation. Our server never introduced herself, nor did she come attend to us until a very long wait. Never checked up on us and only left us with the bill (very rudely) without ever coming back even though we asked for the machine. We each ordered a dozen of the buck a shuck, which did not taste fresh at all and I had to send it back. I ended up getting food poisoning after this meal. We also ordered an espresso martini and a glass of chardonnay, which we barely touched due to the poor flavour profiles they each offered. The only redeeming dish was the flatbread, which was hearty and filling. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was such a horrible experience. I wish we got to experience all that people rave about for Fin Point.

A wonderful place to chill and have a great meal. We came as walk-ins at 16:00 but were seated immediately. We had the oysters (terrific, though a little pricey at $4 apiece), tuna sahimi, excellently prepared and presented. Tried the octopus, which we found "rubbery" but was replaced with aploligies immediately with a fantastic ceviche. Service was fantastic and attentive, the amvience high-class but inviting. A wonderful experience!

The beet salad main dish was smaller than an appetizer. A heads up on the size and extra charges would have been nice. I ordered takeout and they charged an extra $5 for "Non Service" and another $2 for "Kitchen Appreciation". They also ask for another 15-20% gratuity. A few bites of beet cost $28 after tax and before tip.

First visit but no the last. Traveling from out of State and decided to check out local eats. Compliments to the chef as this is the type of place that you can close your eyes and savor the ingredients as you identify every savory taste.
