Theo’s Cozy Corner is the place to be for those early mornings when you’re craving breakfast! Theo’s has a very homey and friendly ambiance and it’s where all the locals are at! A nice variety of options on the menu and good value for what you get. Highly recommend Theo’s Cozy Corner! Note: it is cash only here

We found this place on a VERY HOT day in August. It's small and cozy, but the staff was absolutely wonderful. Immediately got us a table, high chair and ice cold water. Food was extremely quick and absolutely delicious. Try their house made pepper sauce, the flavor and spice are on pointe. Our son had the hot dog, the bun was grilled to perfection. You will not regret having a meal here.

Super friendly, full of locals, and delicious food. Peak diner material right here. And great prices! What more could you ask for? Cash only though, so keep that in mind. There's an atm a few stores down.

So happy to return to this gem in the North End and find them cranking out amazing food as always. This place has everything you want in a local restaurant- friendly service, hardworking staff, and consistently delicious food. It's old school in the best ways with good pricing. Outdoor seating was offered in the warmer months (not sure if that was a covid practice), otherwise they have a couple counters and tables inside. For those who need it - they do have Gluten-free bread.

The charm of Theo and his wife are unmatched. Soaked in all of the awesome Boston local vibes here. Bacon and potatoes are fresh off the grill and perfect. Make sure you bring cash. Cash only 👍

The best in this part of Boston. Nice people, very good food, prices low. Typical and funny. Food very very good. Try the English Breakfast. And the soup of the day. Also salad is really really rich and fresh. Not many places to sit. It's better to arrive early

This tiny hole in the wall may look unassuming, but don’t let that stop you! The owner and staff are the sweetest people and make you want to become a regular. We were in town for a few days and ended up dining here every morning of our trip. The food is delicious and fresh and the environment just makes your day a little better. They even made a Mickey Mouse pancake for my son for free. The sweetest humans and the best breakfast in Boston!

CASH ONLY. Great hole in the wall diner for brunch! They also had a Brazilian lunch menu which I didn't try but might go back for. There is often a line on weekends, but make sure you check with the hostess if there are any tables free before you just get in line. We were the only party of 2 and there was a free table for 2 inside but no one told us, so if we hadn't checked we'd have been waiting in line for no reason! Food was delicious and portions were huge! Banana pancakes and the western omelette were so good. We were also offered Brazilian hot sauce for the home fries, which was bomb. Service is friendly but slow because of how busy they are. But def would come back for the food!

First time here, and it was very pleasant. Everyone was so nice. I got the waffle with apple. The apples are diced very small and are inside the waffle. This also kept the waffle moist. You don't have to worry about any dry waffles here. There are signs that say "Cash Only" posted around.

Wow, my kind of joint indeed! Small family run diner with a great atmosphere, friendly people and wonderful food. Everything about this place is beautiful and tasty. The only negative surprise was that they are a cash only establishment. I think this is unacceptable in year 2023. Luckily there is a corner store with an ATM three doors down, however, you will be hit with a $2.75 fee to utilize the machine. Would have been a 5-star rating if they accepted plastic.

I’ve been to and enjoyed many restaurants in the North End. But honestly none of them compare to Theo’s. The staff is ALWAYS friendly welcoming you in and wishing you well when you leave, food prices are reasonable, portions are heaping and the food is just so good. The Fried Egg BLT is a staple of my diet and you should have it too!

We were looking for a breakfast place while in Boston and happened upon this little neighborhood diner. They have all the classic breakfast items you would expect and the food was very good. The owners were working each time we went and they were fantastic. It was neat to watch as people from the neighborhood came in and they knew everyone who came in. They even remembered us on our second visit. Highly recommend visiting this place if you are in town.

Absolutely amazing food. I had the traditional breakfast and my travel companion went a bit more wild and tried the Brazilian steak and eggs. It was so good I ended up snitching off her plate. Also, their mimosas are delightful! Please stop and support a fantastic small family business!

    1. CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT. there is an atm down the street but it’s an inconvenience finding this out at the end of your meal. 2. Food is good- it’s what you’d expect from a diner. 3. Very very small. Maybe about 30 seats in house total with tight walking quarters. Went around 7:45 am on Christmas Eve and there was no line but just about every table was taken. 4. Friendly staff :)

Your quintessential corner diner! Awesome atmosphere! Seemed like everyone knew each other (besides us tourist). Even patrolman Bob seemed to be a regular. I sat at the bar and watched the cook do his thing. Which was great. It's kinda small which is why the 4 star vs 5.

Absolutely a must stop in the North End and aptly named. Such a cute spot for breakfast! I had the eggs florentine, which were excellent. However, I have to say that the various choices of French toast etc. that had fruit toppings were also very tempting. The fruit looked quite fresh. The place is tiny and adorable. The staff is quite the team and very friendly. I also recommend trying the hot sauce for your home fries. They make it themselves. Btw, when I say “tiny”…customers need to go through the galley kitchen and they must lift a trap door to take stairs down to the bathroom…tiny.

We were in town for a Spartan Race and decided to stop by this place before heading back home to Baltimore. The place was exactly like the name ... a cozy corner. The restaurant was warm and inviting. The staff made you feel like family and you could definitely tell who the regulars are. My husband had the steak and eggs, I had the western omelet... and BABYYYY everything was delicious. Nothing needed any more seasoning, everything was seasoned well and nothing was greasy. The house made hot pepper sauce was delicious and is definitely a good condiment to add to your meal. We are satisfied and FULL. We highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch 😋

Don’t let this little whole in the wall fool you. The food and service is GREAT! Each dish that came by the table made my head swerve to see what was coming. Don’t be stupid …get the French toast or waffles!

Stopped in for some morning breakfast and was pleasantly surprised! Got to sit at the countertop so we were able to see all the food being cooked while we waiting and had some friendly conversations with the chef. Make sure to ask for their special homemade sauce, compliments the fries nicely. Definitely a nice cozy place to start the day off right!

Definitely a hidden gem! We came late for lunch so the place was not busy. Theo and team were there and they are friendly and welcoming us. We order basic cheese burger, Theo’s special burger and Theo special brazilian rice dish. All dishes were so delicious!! They look basic but very flavourful. We are happy with our order, the service and we’re priced reasonably. The rice dish though was a lot so you can share if you are a light eater.

Stopped here for breakfast early on a Sunday with our family. We were seated right away and had some great food. The home fries were fresh and eggs cooked perfectly. Try their homemade hot sauce - so so good. The pancakes looked delicious so will have to try those next time!

This place is definitely one of Boston's favorite. Definitely kind of like a mom and pop hole in the wall but the food is great, however the place is really small and you're basically elbow to Elbow with your neighbor so if you don't like confine places don't bother coming. But luckily I'm not an introvert so I meant a lot of people that were sitting next to me and some were from the same state that I was from so we just talked the whole time while waiting on our food. There are two servers and the service were good and nice. It's a cash Place only so don't bring your card here. They give you plenty of food and again like I said the food is pretty good. But you have to wait outside in line so there's No Reservations there's no wait list you wait in line until your turn so hopefully you won't go when it's cold

We opted for this authentic Italian restaurant for a great breakfast over our standard cookie cutter overpriced hotel breakfast! It was a delight and close to North End Freedom Trail stops. The place was packed which meant it was a great pick! Food was tasty. Theo’s homemade hot sauce was HOT but our friend ended up buying a jar to take away. Would recommend for a great experience and good food with plenty of portions!

So happy to find this spot for breakfast! The food was delicious and the service was great. They are quick and efficient. Bonus that they offered Gluten-free bread. Enjoyed by both locals + tourists. Pro tip: cash only joint.

The reviews are good about this place, but I did not like my food. It’s a bummer ‘cuz they are very nice and attentive. Coffee was excellent!

Beautiful day so we sat outside. Food was reasonably priced and very well cooked. Owned by a local couple. They only take cash and when we said we weren't sure we had enough cash he said no problem, you come back and pay later. Thankfully we had enough, but just sweet as can be to trust us enough to bring the money back to him. If you want to support the local restaurants and a wonderful couple, choose Theo's, but bring CASH or your ATM card. :)

While exploring Boston's North End and Little Italy, we noticed a line queuing at Theo's Cozy Corner Restaurant and wondered what all the fuss was about. We were pleasantly surprised by the diversity of both breakfast and dinner menu options as well as the quality of the dishes, all at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Theo's as a stop during your North End exploration, only a stone's throw from Paul Revere Square and the Old North Church.

Spent 4 days in Boston and ate at Theos 3 of the 4. Best breakfast I’ve had! Hot chocolate is very good as well great small business and great service. Food comes quick and prices are very reasonable. Every part of the meals each time was perfect!

Best breakfast in the North End. This cafe only has 6 tables and you are going to wait outside to get seated… but wait!! It’s worth it. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. We ate here twice while on vacation and the owners recognized us right away when we were standing in line, which is impressive considering how many people must come through this place.

A small cozy place located in the north end. Has such a good vibe, nice food, a lot of options to choose for a meal. We were having lunch here so I decided to get the picanha steak & eggs. which was really nice and they had a secret spicy salsa with was so 🔥 😋 an delicious. My bf got the Italian sausage sub. Which was also very good. We got there late so it wasn't that busy which was perfect. Definitely coming back here next time. I really enjoyed it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
