Nice Italian restaurant in Hannover with beautiful decorations with some liquors. Very welcoming staffs and atmosphere. The service was a bit slow due to a busy day. We enjoyed our family time with a german beer “Alster bier or Radler” and some wine. My pizza was good but not my favorite.

We had a wonderful meal at Lucca’s last night. It has an upscale, modern, classy aesthetic and the food is DELICIOUS. After seeing the portion sizes in Boston’s Italian establishments, my mom and I shared the lobster fettuccine, and — wow — so good. I could eat that all day long. Our waiter was an attractive and attentive thirtysomething, good job Lucca ;-)

Everything was amazing. Perfect place for dinner in the North End with a nice end of summer breeze if you sit by the street side. Our server, Justin was amazing and humorous. We got the steak plate and the lobster plate, as you can see they looked amazing. For the dessert we got the chocolate torte and coconut cheesecake. Everyone was very attentive as well. The menu has a little of everything as far as options and it isn’t a huge menu if you tend to get easily overwhelmed. Will definitely come back, thank you!

Made reservations for dinner ahead of attending an evening show at TD Garden. The North End and Lucca is a nice walk from the Garden. Starting with a drink at the bar, I was impressed with Bartenders know-how and skill while preparing a less-than-common cocktail. I've ordered the same drink all over the country and have had to teach other bartenders how to prepare it correctly. Additionally, the beer selection was a great mix of local, craft, imported, and domestic choices. We started dinner with a couple selections from the appetizer menu. Both the muscles and carpaccio were excellent. We seriously considered just ordering apps as the choices all looked amazing. Moving onto the main courses...just based on the choices on the menu it was a tough decision, when our server shared the specials the decision became even harder. We finally settled on the lamb chop and rigatoni, both were very good and accompanied with wine. The wine selections were recommended by our server and paired very well with the food. We finished things off with a couple of dessert cocktails (my words not theirs). Our server, the manager, and the hostess, Rita, were all great. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and enjoyable to talk to. I will not hesitate to choose Lucca again in the future and I'm hoping we get the chance to check out their location on the South Shore soon.

Lucca is SO good! Truly one of the restaurant gems in the city. They have multiple locations in Mass, but the Boston one is best! It’s a large restaurant with plenty of seating. The staff is accommodating of large groups and very friendly. Although I do recommend calling ahead to secure a table reservation. They have a large food and cocktail menu with many delicious options to choose from. Some food items can be on the pricey side, but the food quality and portion size is 100% worth it. Pro tip, don’t use the upstairs bathroom next to the bar as it’s small and I believe one person at a time. Go down the stairs and use the bathroom in the wine cellar area, it’s beautiful and has multiple stalls. The restaurant has an overall dark and intimate atmosphere with beautiful stained glass featured throughout. It’s one of my go-to spots to take family and friends who are visiting Boston.

So glad we were able to get a table last minute on a busy Saturday night! Seated quickly, and food came out very fast but was cooked to perfection. Ordered the orecchiette and my friend ordered the risotto. We literally cleaned our plates it was so delicious. Homemade noodles and fresh sausage. Great flavors and fresh ingredients make all the difference. Staff was super friendly and attentive too. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

I got the beef tenderloin and it was really good! Very flavorful and cooked just right. They have a very extensive wine list which is nice. I do wish they had more traditional Italian items on the menu, however, they do have some dishes that I’d love to go back and try. We sat right by the window and it was perfect weather for that. Very happy with the experience!

Wow! What an incredible place to eat! Knowledgeable servers, clean and put together. The drinks were delicious! I had the lobster pasta, what an enjoyable dish! The basil pesto and bread was outstanding! Thank you Lucca!

Truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The scallops were divine, and the service was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and was able to recommend a great wine pairing for our meal. They also did a wonderful job of following Covid-19 protocols and ensuring the safety of their patrons as well. Highly recommend!

It’s okay - it appears overpriced for the experience & food. It seems like one of those places that was a super popular a couple years back, but has lost its way & now feels more like an Italian sports bar with some overpriced dish’s. The food was good, also unusually fast. The the point you wonder how fresh is it? The is not something you feel good about spending $100 on. I would recommend finding somewhere else.

We absolutely loved Lucca! Everything was perfect, from the chickpea basil pesto served with bread (incredibly light and creamy) to the savory, flaky duck confit tart and the flavorful pasta. We were super full afterwards and will definitely be coming back. It's such a short walk from the T and also the outdoor dining is beautiful!

Nice upscale Italian restaurant in North End in a great area around nice restaurants and shops. I had the chicken dish which was excellent with a heavy portion of corn risotto I highly recommend Luca restaurant for an authentic Italian dining experience.

Late night date night at Lucca in the North End. Bar closes at 1am and Kitchen close at 11:45pm every day. One of the BEST lamb chops ever and my husband had the Lobster Fra-Diavolo, he loved it and devoured it. Got a cosmo and a glass of the Prisioner Cabernet Sauvignon. The service was outstanding. Our server Victor was super knowledgeable and conscious of my Gluten Allergy. Amazing experience!!

I got the fresh rigatoni bolognese and the chicken piccata pappardelle, and they both had great flavors and pasta texture! Your meal also comes with fresh focaccia bread and pesto! Restaurant was busy so a reservation would be recommended.

What a pleasant experience. Was lucky enough to get a table without reservation (got there before 5.30pm). The place is bustling. Received a delicious piece of bread with a green spread from the house, which was yummie! Very nice staff. They even have sauvignon blanc from St Clair NZ, omg what a delight, love that wine! I ordered orichiette pasta, which I know from Puglia. When I got it, it honestly looked completely different from what I expected, in a small black oven dish, gratinated with cheese. Decided to keep an open mind and was happily surprised; this chef knows what he's doing! Nopr, not low carbs, but enjoyed every single bite. Unfortunately leaving Boston tomorrow because otherwise they'd have me tomorrow all over again haha. Next time then :-) Spent USD60 ex tip.

I wish they had had more vegetarian options, but my ravioli was very good 😊 My mom loved the scallops too.

This review is for Boston Logan location: Sat down with an hour until we had to leave for our flight. Asked for food repeatedly: “It’s coming” we were told. Finally we had to leave and we’re told “we’ll box it up.” This is what we got. Completely unstaged photo. $130 for food literally thrown into a box so they could give us the full check. Tried to email the restaurant from the website - both email address are no good. No choice but to drop this review.

Was able to get a table last minute at Lucca on a Saturday night we appreciated the accommodation! Food was great- we had the garlic cheesy bread, pesto bread thing, orrechette pasta and the shrimp pasta. Was all pretty decent. Good wine list too!

Hands down the best restaurant in the north end. The quality of the cuts of meat are outstanding. The sauces they use are made from scratch, honestly words don’t even do justice to display its greatness. I brought some of my associates to Lucca’s for a late dinner and they didn’t not disappoint. Not only is Lucca’s opened late they’re very accommodating, the staff is wonderful , and the food is even better ! They have an extensive selections of American and imported wines , I myself a north end native my family is from Sicily and my cohorts had the pleasure of enjoying wine imported from the region of Italy my family is from it was lovely ! My cousin had ordered veal on the bone which was out of this world and cooked to perfection. I ordered the steak tenderloin 8oz which was also cooked magnificently. The gnocchis in bolognese was outstanding the sauce was to die for ! Even the appetizers , the lobster bisque , the calamari , and even the bread were completely phenomenal! We then ordered gelato , sorbet , and tiramisu all of which were fantastic , the presentation of them all were beautiful quite artistic honestly a work of culinary art at its best . We then received complimentary lemon cello , and ordered a round of espresso martinis and pistachio martinis to finish off our experience ! 5 stars all day and I have returned now over a hundred times probably in the last year since with my clients! Highly recommend to every and anyone .

I just hosted a family and friend dinner here for 17 people. In general we are a bunch of picky eaters. Everyone said they enjoyed the food as well as the service. Food ordered included shrimp scampi, veal, lobster dish, and a variety of typical pasta dishes. The drinks were also good. As large group, we had no complaints. The servers were very friendly and helpful.

One of the best restaurants in Boston. Love it. Had the special tonight, rack of lamb. And our waiter Bernardo was attentive and outstanding. Definitely worth a stop.

Excellent food and service! Another work dinner with no photos but this is well worth the trip. We had a party of 14 and were served by 2 people and wanted for nothing. I tried so many things and everything was fresh, hot and tasty. The meatballs, cheesy bread, prosciutto wrapped watermelon and some other appetizer were fantastic. I thought the bread and calamari were well prepared but just good compared to the others. For my main course I had the lobster with fresh fettuccine - WOW - and it was great. This is definitely a place to go if you enjoy Italian and seafood. I also saw some non-seafood dishes and I don’t think I saw any plate that wasn’t cleaned completely.

My wife had House-Made Garganelli Pasta, Wild Boar Ragu, Grana Padano, Roasted Red and Yellow Pepper Agrodolce (left). I ate the Fresh Rigatoni Bolognese, Ragu of Veal, Beef, Pork, and San Marzano Tomatoes, Italian Basil, Parmigiano Reggiano (middle). For an appetizer we split the Garlic and Mozzarella Bread (right). All of our food was delicious. The serving sizes were quite generous and the staff was very attentive. My only complaint is that they didn’t recognize our anniversary. On my reservations note I put “we are celebrating our anniversary.” They didn’t even tell us happy anniversary. It saddened my wife, that they didn’t care to celebrate us on such a big night for us.

One of our best dining experiences in Boston. Rita was fantastic and greeted us open arms. Justin did an excellent job and provide great service. Not our first visit and won’t be our last!

I was craving a steak for dinner but my friends all wanted Italian...and all I can say is wow was I ever impressed. The meal was amazing, the steak was perfectly cooked and the sauce and sides were fantastic. All of my friends thoroughly enjoyed the pasta dishes and the service was great and everyone was attentive and friendly. What a great dinner out. Would highly recommend for a nice dinner out with a group but also a great place for a quiet dinner out for two. Looking forward to my next trip to Boston to visit again.

Simply the best. I lived in the North End for a very long time and Lucca will forever be my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. Katie Mae behind the bar is truly the best. We love the food and the atmosphere, but we consistently come back for her!

I only visited the restaurant for work. It's a great atmosphere and right in the heart of downtown. I highly recommend it.

Got the Salem Street mushroom pizza. Really good. They also give bread with a chickpea spread before the meal. Two peronis were nice and cold and standard price $6.50.

We stayed downtown for our anniversary recently and went here for dinner and drinks. Starting with the peach Bellini martini and the painkiller as cocktails, we were impressed by the freshness of the peach flavor. It was delicious and the better of the two drinks. For dinner, I had the scallops and open faced ravioli and my partner had the lobster with fettuccine. It was truly the best, most perfectly cooked pasta I've ever had. The olive oil dressing the arugula was especially tasty and a nice addition to the dish. We had a lovely time.

Okay, this is essentially a Devon appreciation post. You go to the North End for killer Italian food, obviously. That did not disappoint. Lobster was flames, salmon was on point. But the service? Impeccable. Devon absolutely crushed it. Recommendations were perfect and any place would be lucky to have her.
